So Jasmin offically Retired.
So Jasmin offically Retired.
We're talking about that in The Challenge: Generic
Sadly, no. She was in foster care her whole life and once she turned 18, her family kicked her out. From what I understand, she was living with Derek until the start of this challenge. Had she been eliminated and he still there, she wouldn't have had anywhere to go.
Oh, that's tough. Say what you will about the girl, but it's got to be difficult not having any type of family for support. I can understand her decision and when it comes to eliminations, the claws come out for everyone and for some people who are in much better circumstances than her.
Team Trishelle I dont think her comment about joanna was off base at all.. and also if you guys dont see it yet Trishelle is just trying to keep the drama between the SD(2) team going planting in Franks head that he is a pawn keeps the team fractured and not working well together.. I agree the sarah accusations was alittle off but her strategy to plant that pawn seed in Franks head is kind of good because he's so dramatic and just silly.. Dont hate on Trishelle.. and she's knows her rep which is why she like i know a hoe when i see one lol ;) i Love her respect her game.. <3 She's just stirring the pot.. love it.. and Trishelle is prob the best part of this season so glad she's back and it looks like she's gonna do one more challenge!!
If Jonna would have stepped up she would have had an edge over beating Sam. Jonna seems feisty, she's taller, she has more on the line which would amp up her adrenaline. Now CJ, wow CJ I got to give him my props NEVER would I have thought that he would take Zach down and beat him not once, not twice, but 3 TIMES. CJ was the better man. He was just exhausted towards the end and also the fact that Zach finally used his strength to his advantage. However, you can't ignore the fact that the it was CJ: 3 & Zach: 2. Anyways, looking forward to seeing Zito shove frank's annoying ***.
CJ- Great Competitor... really showed up tonight ...
Great Elimination. When CJ beat Zach the third time I was hooting and hollering because I thought he won. I was ****** when I saw it was a best two out of three. CJ did work man and I hope he comes back. I wanted Zach to go home and see San Diego crippled. Frank has once again managed to stay out of the arena. I don't think he will be touched all show. I got San Diego pegged as the winners too.
Trishelle is kind of annoying me. She always accuses people of the worst things. Not only calling Jonna trashy (comical), but the way she went after Sarah. Sarah didn't do anything wrong. She was making accusations against Sarah. Then at the beginning of this episode she claimed Frank was a pawn used by Zach. How exactly does that make sense when Zach continues to go in? She thinks she knows everything because she plays poker, but she doesn't. She's just being rude to people.
She LOVES Frank though. She praised the heck out of him. She loves Zach too. She favors them far more than her own teammates so she may be a bit biased. Listen to her on a podcast and you will know.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing Zito shove frank's annoying ***.
All Jonna (and even Jasmine) had to do was out strategize Sam, really and use all of their strength and heart. Jasmine could have gotten lower and used her size instead of running straight into Sam who is much bigger. CJ gave Zach a run for his money, individually he destroyed Zach. The average eliminations don't even see a round 5, Zach would have lost by round 2 or 3. I'd like to see CJ on another challenge definitely.
See here is the thing. CJ requested Jonna to go with him becuase he was more confident with her. Right there they should have leaned more towards Jonna. If they couldn't decide and it came down to a vote, i bet brooklyn would have chosen Jonna. Here's where Jonna's logic is flawed. If she thought she had a chance to go home and woudln't win, she had to know Jasmine had an even lesser chance. So knowing that she saved herself a trip home, but now they only have 2 people. She also has seen how big of a disadvantage a team of 2 is. Does she really think her team of 2 won't get last and won't go in? Where as if she had gone in right than with CJ, she at least had CJ on her side which gives her the best chance. She was probably overrating her alliance with SD protecting her the rest of the way. Basically she just didn't want to go against Zach is probably why, and that saved team San Diego imo. If she ends up winning i will say smart game play Jonna, but i just won't hold my breath s
I actually agree on this. If CJ + Jonna went in Zach would have said **** this arena Frank you go in .. and the Brooklyn would have put in Frank and Sam to go in and SD would have lost. Then Cancun would still be here (as CJ wants) and Zach would still be here (as Jonna wants).
San Diego, please go home. You're a hot mess. I'm actually glad that Brooklyn is winning now. They're totally changing the game, and focusing their attacks on what remains of the mega alliance. And they're letting Robb + Marie and Vegas slide by, and I'm a huge fan of Vegas. Hopefully the final will include Brooklyn and Vegas!
CJ is a beast, I would like to see him in a duel format, he might be the next landon or something. Anyways, my speculation on Zach vs CT was pretty much answered tonight, CT would bulldoze through Zach.
... CJ was the better man. He was just exhausted towards the end and also the fact that Zach finally used his strength to his advantage. However, you can't ignore the fact that the it was CJ: 3 & Zach: 2. ...
No, the better man is the winner, as Zach beat a shorter/quicker guy (naturally advantaged considering the dive strategy) with an in-game adjustment/agility and power WHEN it mattered. And you don't know that CJ was "just exhausted" at the end! He could've easily not wanted a hurdle repeat and half-ed it giving Zach finally enough of a grip (even more than the 1st run as he got under-hook/front headlock positioning) and the game became about power. Also, the 1st rd had unquestionably poor officiating! How was CJ's double-leg takedown from behind not wrestling? Completely facing the wrong direction, he gripped and executed a move.
CJ is a beast, I would like to see him in a duel format, he might be the next landon or something. Anyways, my speculation on Zach vs CT was pretty much answered tonight, CT would bulldoze through Zach.
Either you got a strong bias going or you gotta watch some sports cuz that theory is as sound as the notion that Wes nearly beating Big Easy (in the 2nd round) because he had found some power. Just like Wes, the shorter/lighter competitor CJ, turned the game into a footrace. When he didn't (i.e the 1st & last runs) he got muscled.
CT has a level of physical strength and "craziness" to him in head-to-head competition that CJ could never begin to tap into...and he wouldn't be giving up 50 pounds. Put him in there with Zach in Hall Brawl and Zach is going flat on his *** everytime, I guarantee it.
Before this episode I had really no opinion about CJ I thought he was boring and an average competitor but in Hall Brawl he earned major respect he did great but he didn't finish the job he blew up Zach in the 1st round 2-0 and almost finished Zach in the final round but major probs to Zach he rallied back to win and he deserved it overall a very good elimination round between Zach and CJ.
CJ is a beast, I would like to see him in a duel format, he might be the next landon or something.
CJ was impressive and I honestly am sad to see him go... great competitor and good fella...he put up a fight! I LOVE the comparison to Landon... yummm Landon :D I have to say that I agree that Jonna should have gone in... BUT like a bunch of other people have said, its a GAME and staying out of the arena is the way to play it strategically if you want to stay there... more power to her for staying out. and yeah, Jasmine's comment about the gag reflex was priceless lol :clapping:
LOL does Zach have some sort of food fetish? Frank: I'm not gonna be made to look like a crazy person You don't need anyone's help, you look crazy enough, throwing temper tantrums and pillows on the ground and all that nonsense Tris****e: Jonna is a greedy *****, she wanted to manipulate Jasmine into going in so that she can stay and have a bigger piece of the pie. Girl, you're just as selfish as her, take a seat. Poor CJ and Jasmine, they're both smaller than their opponents. Where the **** were the medics when Jasmine was on the floor crying. Sam: "I feel awesome, that's half of my job done". Really Sam, you feel awesome? That was the easiest thing to do, you weigh like 30 lbs more than Jasmine. Wow. CJ is ******* smart, man. CJ and Zach's 5 rounds were the most beautiful things I've seen this whole challenge. But that was the most rigged elimination round. Like ***, since when is the tie-breaker 3 ******* rounds? That was some bull**** right there. ****. I wanted CJ to win. I wish it had been San Diego vs San Diego lol. Cancun was doing so well too. Jonna looks happier that Zach's back than if CJ had come back. Guess what, girl, you wanted to stay because you needed money? Zach isn't gonna help you achieve that goal. Oh yeah, next episode is gonna be hilarious.
Jonna is one of my favorite challengers, along with Emily s. her story makes me sad :( haha
you just put "her story makes me sad" and "haha" in the same sentence
I love Robbarie! Guess Marie wasn't lying about peppers being her thing. She is Italian.
What does her being Italian have to do with anything?
For someone who doesn't want **** anywhere near him Zach's been pretty far up Frank's *** til now...
Zing! I don't agree 100% but that was still funny.
LMFAO TJ -Raquel -Bambi -Diamond -Sapphire -Chelsea
-Passion -Chastity
Losers two weeks in a row. Perfect. :)

I know right? But knowing how this ends doesn't help my cause.
SPOILER ALERT??
Exactly. It's a game. I don't understand when people get mad at someone for wanting to stay out of an elimination round? It's smart. Jasmine didn't have to volunteer herself. You shouldn't hate Jonna for Jasmine doing that out of the good of her heart. And do people really think Jonna stood a chance against Sam who is probably double her weight? Sam would have gotten both those Cancun chicks. It didn't matter.
I have a hard time believing Sam's 200 lbs lol But I know what you mean
Team Trishelle I dont think her comment about joanna was off base at all.. and also if you guys dont see it yet Trishelle is just trying to keep the drama between the SD(2) team going planting in Franks head that he is a pawn keeps the team fractured and not working well together.. He's so unstable that you really just have to press his buttons in the right place and watch him fall apart. He seems to love using psychological warfare on everyone else (he openly prides himself on taking "low blows"), it would be nice to see it used on him for a change. If that's what you're doing, Trishelle, then keep it up!
CT has a level of physical strength and "craziness" to him in head-to-head competition that CJ could never begin to tap into...and he wouldn't be giving up 50 pounds. The competitors with that crazy streak are the ones you never want to face...even if they're smaller or have a disadvantage or whatever, they've got something off in their head that makes you kinda afraid of them. It's like they might get destroyed but they don't even give a ****, they are gonna break your head and eat it! Ha!
Anyone notice how after Zach won he tried to rip his shirt off and failed miserably? That Under Armour Charged Cotton is tough. I aso think it's funny that none of the elimination rounds really test what they were intended to. The strategy elimination is more endurance and physical than it is strategy. The physical one has become more strategy than physical. The mental one is more physical because it's about whether or not you can pull your teammate's weight. And the endurance one is just stupid.
It's getting to that point in the season where tensions are flaring. Bridges are getting burned. Brother is killing brother, sister is dissing sister, and vice versa. In an effort to maintain their grasp on sanity, some put up a wall... create a calm cool atmosphere around themselves that is seemingly impenetrable (I'm looking at you Trishelle). Others are going the other extreme... they know their is a latent insanity within them, and rather than repress it, ignore it, or smother it with a blanket of self-assuredness that at best amounts to mental ************, they embrace the crazy. One morning, they woke up and decided "I'm going to make friends with my crazy." This example is illustrated best by Frank. In an effort to "not be made to look like a crazy person" he allows Robb and Marie to bear witness to just how not crazy he is by throwing a 30 second tantrum involving screaming at no one in particular, and physically convulsing in a manner that recalls the demon-infested child in The Exorcist. I **** you not when I say that for a split second, I saw his eyes roll back as his head turned a complete 360 degrees. This man is not to be trifled with. The Hunger Games challenge was a fun idea that was executed very poorly. If I recall correctly, Las Vegas sat on their ***** and watched the other teams eat sweets, local Turkish cuisine, and the *** organs from livestock. Very Fear Factor. But it's a nice change from the HIGH OCTANE physical challenges we've seen. It was welcome, light fun after watching the nail-biter that was the Ear-Elastic-Pull-Thingy in the Insane Games, filmed in high resolution, and slowed to to SUPER SLOW MOTION no less. IMAX worthy stuff this season. But I digress. I mentioned the Hunger Games was poorly implemented. They should have had it elimination style... Every team eat every dish until one team ***** out. And they should have struck out the baklava and started with the cow liver from the get-go. THIS IS HOW WE TEST THE TRUE METTLE OF THESE TEAMS. Pit them against everyone at the SAME TIME. Anyone who can't stomach animal balls is BUSH LEAGUE and DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE TO BE IN THIS GAME. What I did appreciate was that TJ, who was all dork-ified up, addressed the same lady with many different stripper names. **** GOOD TELEVISION. So Brooklyn won this poorly implemented Challenge, which brings up the fan-favorite side plot: DEVYN'S BET! I totally think that no one on Brooklyn thought she'd 'fro it up like she said she would if they won twice, but she totally did! Baaahahahahahahaha. Okay. So Brooklyn, being the savvy team that they are, throw in Cancun against San Diego. San Diego, of course, lost the Hunger Games challenge because they were not as capable and ready to stomach balls and (as Zach eloquently said) "**** tubes" as Cancun. I was genuinely surprised. AND SHOCKED. Elimination time! Oh ****, it's physical! We listen in on Cancun's discussion... CJ volunteers. Of course he would. He's such a stand-up fella. He has been genuinely nice and chill this entire challenge, if not slightly dopey in his adorable crush on Ashley. I HATE THIS GUY. But seriously, not really. But I totally do. Jonna refuses to go in because she's homeless. I'm not going to dig into this one too much. Her situation sounds bad. Unfortunate even. But I'd be lying if I was saying that I was in no way curious about what exactly her ex-amour was blackmailing her with that would leave her so despondent as to sign over her car to him. Situation smells funky to me. BUT SHE'S LIVING IN A WAY SWEET HOUSE NOW! And Challenge dating the HOTTEST AND BESTEST AND STRONGEST MAN IN A HOUSE FULL OF MANLETS. Always a silver lining, my friends. Side note on Ashley: People like to describe her as having no personality, and like to compare her to mundane set-pieces in a living room, seeings as how she doesn't inspire much controversy or... thought in general. I disagree with those naysaying doofuses. Because if I had a mundane set-piece in my loving room that looked like Ashley, I would totally do forward and inappropriate things to that piece of furniture... Like take her out to a nice lobster dinner and then walk her back home and kiss her hand at the door before bidding her goodnight and counting my lucky stars that I had the courage to be so bold. Then I'd text her all of the next day, each text ending with a ;) to convey my impure intentions of cuddling with her on the couch and watching Love Actually starring Rick Grimes. Sorry for the graphic detail... I can be a mite foul-mouthed sometimes. Anyway, so elimination. We don't even see the San Diego discussion. Sam goes in because Ashley is a beautiful, delicate flower that mustn't be sullied by the petty physical conflicts the elimination entails. And Zach goes in because it is a physical challenge and Zach is like the Rob Gronkowski of the house. HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BREAK TACKLES AND TRUCK THROUGH CJ LIKE NOTHING. CJ goes 2-0 in the first round. For the females, we have Sam and Jasmine. Jasmine may be small but her fiery stick-to-it-ness combined with more than a little bit of repressed rage should be able to fuel her, because anger and crazy mathematically, physically, biologically, and cosmically lead to a measurable increase in energy and strength. Sam sweeps Jasmine. But ho! We're deadlocked! Flip a coin TJ! It's the men who have to run through each other again! BATTLE OF THE HEAVYWEIGHTS. CJ wins the first one handily. But Zach something sparks in Zach. Something ineffable. Indescribable. It's like he suddenly realized that CJ was going for his legs EVERY SINGLE TIME. So he hurdles CJ, and rings the bell. BUT IT'S STILL 1-1. Crunch time, as Marv Albert likes to say. Aaaaaaaand... CJ tries to out muscle Zach... Doesn't go so well for CJ. GG, as they say. San Diego perseveres, and Cancun is cut in half. Zach is ALL KINDS OF PUMPED UP. BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. FIST BUMPS ALL AROUND. CHYEAAAAAAAAAH! Enough of that. All in all a fun episode. I rather like this season in a weird sort of way. In the same sort of way that I would appreciate the view if I happened to be falling off of a tall building. Sure, I'd see the concrete rushing towards me, but if I had time to take in the scenery, I might conclude that the view really is beautifu- SPLAT.
Trishelle always thinks she knows what's going on. She doesn't. She thinks she's so smart. How was Frank pawned?
I'd suggest that you think about the deeper motivation behind Trishelle's comments. She is playing the game for Team Las Vegas, and Frank, in this case, is the pawn in her effort to disrupt Team San Diego. Smart veteran move...

Trishelle is a mastermind, she's hot, her commentary is great, she's athletic enough....if she cares. When she doesn't it's funny. On a whole new note, I think Devyn has been the breakout star of this season. I wasn't a fan going into the challenge but I hope she now becomes a challenge regular.
Trishelle is a mastermind, she's hot, her commentary is great, she's athletic enough....if she cares. When she doesn't it's funny.
I'm sorry I don't buy that Trishelle is this big mastermind. How? I think she thinks she is. Vegas just looks like a mess because of her and Alton. What did attacking Sarah accomplish other than make her look stupid when Sarah did volunteer herself in AND win? I agree with what Chet said about Trishelle on the podcast. When she drinks she just gets ridiculous. And if Trishelle is manipulating people and being this big mastermind, why is she hating on Jonna's game and calling her greedy and manipulative, when she's doing the same thing to win? Oh I see with Trishelle it's playing the game, with Jonna she's just being manipulative because Jasmine volunteered herself. Yeah, she's not making any sense. And the biggest instance of the pot calling the kettle black is her calling Jonna trashy. This is the girl responsible for putting the trashy in the Real World. One of the trashiest stories I've ever heard involved Trishelle and Leonardo DiCaprio. I was excited to see Trishelle on this challenge, but I now think she's full of herself, washed up and rude. She used to be so sensitive to people saying the things she's now saying about Jonna. She's probably jealous because she used to be the girl in Jonna's place. That's why Mandi went off on her on a podcast too after Trishelle got catty about her on twitter. Anyway it sucks that Jasmine and CJ are gone. Loved Cancun. So I only have Robb and Marie to root for now.
My thoughts on this episode... I'm starting to lose love for Jonna, may even unfollow her. I ashamed I ever compared her to Veronica. V wouldve never gotten herself into such a foolish position. Jonna shouldve went in to force the CJ/Frank matchup, and Cancun would still be intact. Looooooved that TJ kept changing the name of the lovely assistant lol Sad to see CJ and Jas go, they were my favorite part of that team :( Also, can anyone explain to me what the logic was behind BMP/MTV for A. Leaving the elimination to a coin flip again??! B. Forcing teams to go home as pairs?? Going in as pairs is fine, but I see no reason why a team of 3 people couldnt have gotten along fine except for the first mission, which everyone had 4 people by default anyway. They should also go back to giving prizes for at least the elimination round winners or a Ruins style pay system. It gives players more incentive to risk going in. I thought the episode was great all the way up until CJ/Jas left
The only thing Veronica would have done differently IMO is that she would have convinced CJ not to go in. Jonna had no chance of talking Brooklyn into sending in Frank--none. She knew that. Her biggest issue here was she lives with Derek and basically needs him for survival so she really can't turn on him. Jonna made the right decision given her options. Veronica wasn't exactly the queen of manipulation early--she learned from getting screwed over. Battle of the Seasons and Battle of the Sexes. It is only Jonna's second challenge.
I really do feel sorry that Jonna is homeless, but if that guy she broke up with "two summers ago" is the guy she came into RW Cancun dating, her actions have made her largely responsible for it. Even if it was a different guy, I would not be surprised if she overlapped a relationship on him and were to blame again. I don't know what her situation is outside of the challenges, but hopefully she will get a job or two (if she's not already working) and try to stand on her own two feet. It's tough, but it's better than just relying on a guy since she is unmarried and doesn't hold well in relationships. I don't think she should have just volunteered herself to go into the elimination. I could see how she could be upset that CJ just threw her name out there. However, it sounded like she felt she deserved to sit out eliminations just because she thought she needed the money more than anyone else. If CJ and Jasmine had won, I would not have been surprised to see her trying to get out of the elimination again later on by saying she needed the money. Of course most people want to avoid elimination, but Jonna came across as entitled, and that was the issue people had with her mostly, it seems. It was probably out of context, but that shot of her during the elimination when she kind of swayed her hips and did a limped wrist kind of hand flick to each side made her look like a little entitled princess. While I thought some of the other girls (especially Trishelle) were harsh and over the top with what they said about Jonna (I thought the trash comment was too much), I could totally understand the basic sentiment, because I see how Jonna is myself. Jonna seems to be one of those types of girls other women have to watch out for. Guys are all enthralled by her, but women see the other side of her. Didn't she say, during her seasons of RW, that she usually doesn't have many female friends? Some girls who say that are girls who are manipulative with guys and don't want to deal with other girls seeing them for their ways. While CJ had had a jerky moment or two on the shows, overall he seems like a decent guy. Certainly one of the more likeable from his season. He was very nice and supportive of Jasmine after they lost. What happened to Jasmine looked scary, but my guess is she got the wind knocked out of her. It's not a good feeling, though. Franks actions have made him one of the most irritating and obnoxious people I have ever seen come out of these shows. Very manipulative, yet at the same time he is truly unaware of some of what he does and how he comes across. It is bizarre. I didn't see his season, so this is my first exposure to him, but I'm starting to think he may seriously have some issues, and I hope he gets those taken care of. I see what people are talking about when they say those things about him. Zach also has definitely had awful moments, but I can see a bit of a decent side to him sometimes. He still needs to get himself together, though. I loved the mission, right down to TJ playing game host! I thought they could have put more unpleasant foods in the early rounds, though. Very impressed with Marie eating all those peppers and not even breaking a sweat. There are people who enjoy peppers and spicy foods who would not have been able to handle it the way she did. Wow! I also thought about Trishelle having to eat the peppers from The Inferno and thought she might not want to have to do that one. Vegas was smart. I loved Brooklyn winning again. Devyn looked nice with her afro. I didn't know she had her natural texture. Not a fan of either Cancun or San Diego overall, so it was fine for either of them to go to me, even though I have more of an issue with the guys on SD's team and the girls on Cancun's team. I did kind of feel bad for Jasmine last night, though. She was OK overall this time.

When I watch the episodes, I try to pay as much attention as possible, that's why I was on here last night... So I'll give you my thoughts now! That elimination round last night was AMAZING. I especially loved watching CJ vs. Zach, that was quite a nail-biter right there. I was sad to see part of Cancun go because that was one of my favourite seasons so I was rooting for them. I felt bad for Jonna with her financial situation, so I'm hoping she can go far this time! I also felt bad for CJ and Jasmine, they were both pretty good last night.
Agreed about convincing CJ to stay, but I've always felt like Veronica had all her options covered, even in the even that her alliance couldn't carry her
Well, Veronica is one of the best strategists ever but early on she didn't have all her bases covered. She learned a lot from those first two challenges and even stated in The Ruins "I used to let the game play me but now i play the game" and that was very accurate. Hopefully Jonna learns from this because, given her situation, I think she's going to be doing a lot of these. I do think Jonna has potential to be that type of player like Veronica but she needs challenges like The Ruins, The Gauntlet and The Inferno to showcase that.
