Kim was annoying during Hollywood? Or a different Kim? I only know here from the challenges and thought she was awesome
OMG Her and the other Sarah from her season to me were the two most annoying people in the house. Kim wasn't as bad as the other chick, but they were both extremely hypocritical and judgmental. But I liked her on the Challenge. But in recent years, nothing is beating Frank in terms of most annoying though. He's not even entertaining.
But in recent years, nothing is beating Frank in terms of most annoying though. Even though I know there are people like Emily, Colie, and Marie who have said they've watched the show, this makes me think that everything he does is calculated and planned after years of seeing what gets camera time.

I find it very hard to believe that he wasn't a huge fan.
Kimberly must have gotten a great edit on The Ruins and The Duel II because this surprises me a little bit. Obviously they can't edit her to say the ignorant comments, but I vaguely remember hearing that the cast had said Kim's edit was misleading.
I never saw the Hollywood season, so I don't really know how she was, or if she was ignorant. BTW, a while ago, I started watching Denver on MTV's website, the episodes were still available, and I FINALLY finished watching the season like last week. I have to say, it was a pretty enjoyable season. There was honestly nobody that I really disliked, and there was nobody 'invisible' during the season at all.

They probably wanted her to be portrayed as the naive/sheltered southern girl.
I think Kim's problem was that most of the things she said were in the confessional, behind peoples back. The other cast members said things just as bad, if not worse. But obviously if you're calling someone a "white *****" or telling someone "your dad is dead because you are a ****" to their face, then it does look as bad.

Also, while reading your post I was thinking "I bet this is rwdenverfan"... Boy did I have egg on my face when I was wrong haha.
Well, IMO her ignorance was what got to me. Statements like "People strip to get money for drugs." "Let's not get ghetto." etc.. those were what made me get more and more annoyed with her and Sarah.
Kim was my favorite on Hollywood! I don't think anything that she said was too much worse than anyone else that season. Her and Sarah got a lot of **** for being "racist" which I don't think was at all deserved. Brianna didn't get any flack for calling Kim a "white *****", but if Kim had called her a "black *****" she would've been hated.
. Brianna didn't get any flack for calling Kim a "white *****", but if Kim had called her a "black *****" she would've been hated.
True, but to be far, Brianna said that out of retaliation. I don't think Kim is racist, I just thought she thought her **** didn't stink during her season, which I found annoying.
On a lighter note... ;) The 25 Hottest "Real World" Girls | Complex

Tami Roman - Los Angeles 24. Elka Walker - Boston 23. Sahar Dika - Back to New Orleans 22. Tonya Cooley - Chicago 21. Melissa Howard- New Orleans 20. Melissa Padron - Miami 19. Jenn Grijalva - Denver 18. Devyn Simone - Brooklyn 17. Emilee Fitzpatrick - Cancun 16. Ayiiia Elizarraras - Cancun 15. Trishelle Cannatella - Las Vegas 14. Rachel Campos - San Francisco 13. Coral Smith - Back to New York 12. Colie Edison - Denver 11. Jacinda Barrett - London 10. Arissa Hill - Las Vegas 9. Kellyanne Judd - Sydney 8. Lori Trespicio- Back to New York 7. That was actually the first time I ever watched Denver. I never saw it in it's original run, I actually didn't even know the show existed until Sydney, hahaha. Another thing I liked better about it was that it was 30 minute episodes. It felt easier to watch and not so long and draggy like the hour episodes have been.
Next season, i'd love to see.. 1) An African American roommate who is "white-washed" and doesn't like/hang with people of his/her race. 2) Polar opposite of roommate 1. African American, but is uber stereotypical and contrantational. 3)Flamboyant gay guy who is atheist. 4)Someone homophobic who is a devout christian 5)A Slacker chick who lives at home with family, didn't go to college. Drug Problem 6)A wild child sorority girl who likes to party, Possibly had abortion in the past. 7)An Asian male who is a bad *** dancer. now THAT would be drama. Roommate 1 would automatically get into it with roommate 2 because of the strong personality difference. If the roommates were all 22-24, they would probably have issues with #6. Location: Atlanta, New Jersey, Orlando, Vancouver, anywhere in Spain

OK I tried out but the truth is they are looking for someone with a backstory and it is so ******* annoying if you didn't have your mom be a drug addict and your grandma who is handicapped have to take care of you while you are trying to be a struggling drummer etc, just stop goin for the pitiful sterotypical backstories, pick ME, a wildcard.

The problem is that there is a lack of people who have interesting back-storys trying out. Take a look at the Vegas cast, every single one of them had something in their past that made them vulnerable to drama and making them grow throughout the season; Cooke dating a married man resulted in her trying to get attention from and and every guy, Dustin's way of trying to hide his gay **** past made him put up a homophobic front, Nany not having a dad around made her crave attention from Adam. Those were amazing choices by casting. I remember reading those Bios and automatically knew that it was going to be a good season. Now compare it to St.Thomas and San Diego where you have bios that say stuff like "She is a self-proclaimed 'down *** *****'" and "..where she was an RA". Seriously, who cares? The only one who had a good enough back-story, IMO was Brandon (and maybe Trey if they brought out the stuff about his dad more) We need to go back to the days where they cast diversity in background and culture rather than race; Diversity = conflict.
Portland OR
Wish granted. lol Who knew? Maybe I'll actually get a Nashville season.
There should be a season in Nashville. This will be the cast. 1) an aspiring country singer 2) a hardcore ******* ala Honey Boo Boo's family 3) a Democrat who hates all ******* things 4) a black person who hates racism 5) party person 6) former *** worker who found Jesus 7) ??

I'd love to see a season with racial tension and fights. If number 6 is a devout Christian, they should throw in a hard-core atheist. not one of the "I respect everyone's views" type, but the "I think people who are religious are dumb" types. Put someone like insanely homophobic former gay **** star Spencer Fox (who has actually tried out a couple of times) and watch **** hit the fan.

Nashville is also a very Christian heavy city. I wouldn't say it's a huge politic centered city, but the night life is crazy, especially if you have country fans that like to get in their cowboy boots and party hard. I've seen my fair share of people getting thrown out of the "honky-tonks."
...especially if you have country fans that like to get in their cowboy boots and party hard.
See i've always figured that they haven't went to Nashville yet because of a marketing issue. When they filmed in Austin, the intro and editing of the show made it seem really southern, country, honky-tonk. Maybe it's the same for Dallas, how would they market it because the southern things already been done..?

But they've also done Key West, St. Thomas, and other tropical locations multiple times. I don't think it's exactly a marketing issue. I just think they are trying to play to the younger demographic and not many people want to see the Nashville scene.
If the show continues past Portland, I'd like to see them go back to Key West. I get the feeling Paula and company wouldn't be too thrilled.
Boston for me. I just didn't get anything out of Key West except for my love for Paula. *runs away*
Key West was a living nightmare for the producers, I doubt they would go back there. I want a snowy season, Boston and B2 New York are the only seasons I remember being filmed in the winter.

Then, the challenges getting renewed for two more also to give the new kids the chance to be on one. 28 seems like too odd of a number to end such a legendary staple for the network, ya know? If so, I'd love : 29: Somewhere domestic. Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville 30: Somewhere international. Tokyo, Spain, Vancouver ( but for some reason, I've always thought they'd never do a Vancouver filming after "The Real World:The Lost Season")
