Dexter: Season 7
May as well start it now :D Premiere date set for September 30th! Here are some posters, I'm liking them much better than the previous season's already. This one is my favorite:
With the finale last season, I can't wait to see how season 7 kicks off!
With the finale last season, I can't wait to see how season 7 kicks off!
I know, right? There was another poster I saw a few weeks ago, that said "The dead don't always stay dead," but I can't seem to find it anywhere now. It was initially my favorite because it got me curious about what was happening (unless they pull another "Brian" episode, which I wasn't a fan of the first time around). It's going to be a good one, I can feel it!
unless they pull another "Brian" episode, which I wasn't a fan of the first time around
I agree with you there. I think the dead should stay dead, except Harry who has become part of the norm via Dexter's delusions. I'm interested how they deal with Debra and Dex right out of the gate. That will change everything... Will Dexter be alive when the show ends? I can't see it right now. I would like to see a way and hope they work on that this season, but it would seem the series will end with his discovery or even murder by the "new" Dexter. I guess that would be fitting as he has at times strayed from the code!

The Debra/Dex storyline will definitely be the major plot point of the first episode, if not the season. All I can think about though when it comes to Deb, is that ridiculous storyline of how she was starting to fall in love with him (I hope it dies soon because I hate it). I'm also going to agree with you that I think he'll be dead. Him being discovered by anyone other than Deb would have to be done the right way and right now I just can't see where they would take that either.
Him being discovered by anyone other than Deb would have to be done the right way and right now I just can't see where they would take that either.
Maybe Deb offs him with a large knife, rides out to the drop area on the Slice of Life and tosses him into the Atlantic in individual plastic bags. Then, Jennifer Carpenter remarries Michael C. Hall the night of the season finale. Talk about a Hollywood ending! Haha. :D

I'm still waiting for Masuka to go bat **** crazy on the department for being made fun of or Angel, actually anyone, to kill LaGuerta once and for all. But on another note... it's fantastic Homeland premieres the same night as Dexter. Two shows is always better than one.

well based on the poster, maybe we'll be dealing with arson this season...?
CANNOT WAIT! September 30th can't come soon enough for us Dexter fans. Excited to see where the Deb/Dex relationship will go this season, what Louis has up his sleeves and if Laguerta will finally get what's coming to her - a slap in the face by Deb.
Season 5 was so terrible it almost ruined the series for me. Six had some cool deaths, great B-stories, and a killer ending. Although I never left it, I'm totally back! Can't wait for more.

Great character addition. I'm guessing he is going to be a big bad nemesis.
Even more excited now for some reason.
I really have a great feeling about this season. Here's the first two minutes:
Dexter: Master of Improvisation. Can't wait!
I'm really excited about this cast addition: 'Dexter' scoop: 'Heroes' veteran to play...
It looks like it is all going to come out this season!
I finally got around to watching this and the trailer was better than Seasons 5 and 6 combined.
I finally got around to watching this and the trailer was better than Seasons 5 and 6 combined.
After seeing the behind the scenes trailer, I just know it is going to be insane this season. This is not some BS theme like we have seen in the past. This is at the core of Dexter's existence. I can already tell Jennifer Carpenter's performance is going to be amazing.

Caught the rerun of the finale last night and it has me more excited than ever to see this return! One week!!
Did anyone catch this tonight!!?? I thought it was a solid premiere... So nervous Dexter's gonna have 3 people keeping tabs on him! Also, was this the first time Dex's adopted mom was featured in an episode?
I definitely watched!! It's going to be an amazing season. Hands down the best premiere since season 4. I'm loving the storyline and I'm hoping LaGuerta finds out too much and then Dexter has to kill her. Is that asking too much?? And I'm pretty sure this is the first time his adopted mom was featured.
Amazing start to the season with a shocking end. I thought they would beat around the bush with Dexter's real identity. Nope. Are you a serial killer? Yes. Wow, just wow!

Wow, just wow!
I was shocked at the end, so shocked. At first I didn't think it was really happening. I thought Dexter might have been dreaming. And of course they have to end it right then and there, which always makes me upset, but it's just going to be so good. I still have high hopes from the previews that Dexter will end up killing off LaGuerta. She deserves it.
