I gotta say it's really refreshing to see all new faces...This just made me really excited for this episode and season. My thoughts. Trey-DO NOT FALL FOR WES'S GARBAGE! So he's seen his season...So I'm guessing he's seen some of the challenges he's been on..so he should know that aligning with Wes is a dead end and he is NOT to be trused. Leroy basically told Wes to screw off on Rivals..Trey needs to do the same. It's gonna be Real Interesting to see how all of the teams function. I bet that some of them are going to implode at some point. I mean people were pairing up within the teams. I really think they should've went with diffrent rules this season. It's essetially Battle of the exes all over again and I don't like that. Overall I think this cast is going to deliver and If BMP play their cards right with this season...This could be the best Challenge in years(and maybe we can kiss those tired old vets goodbye).
When I saw the picture of Dustin skydiving, I held a glimmer of hope that they would have all the kids jump out of an airplane like they did at the beginning of BotSeasons 1. No dice /sadface
I liked it, I'm shocked. I think the cast would have been scared of the FM team consisted of people like Evan, Kenny, Laurel, or Diem. Really disappointed that the Sydney cast isn't there and I wish Johanna was there instead of Lacey. I think this a great cast and can't say that I have enjoyed the past few seasons of RW (NOLA, Diego, St. Thomas) but I think they will be great additions to the challenge. But I do miss some of the cast members that have seemed to move on.
My thoughts on the first 18 minutes: -Wes is already playing too hard too fast. -Danny isn't aging well. -Melinda is probably the hottest RW girl ever...still -Alton looks way too skinny, eat a twinky bro. -Not showing enough of Trishelle -Dustin is way too cocky and annoying for me. -Chet and Sarah should cut JD and Devyn loose, they are weak. -Devyn should have prepared. -CJ shouldn't have animosity against Wes, when he lied to Wes about the Exile. -Jonna and Jasmine already are annoying me :/ -Knight is an idiot for wanting to keep Jemmye over McKenzie...Jemmye isn't an athlete, he isn't playing to win and he has already pissed me off. -Why did Preston come on this when he knows his heart isn't in it before it starts? -McKenzie is smokin hot. -Ashley is trying to be cordial and nice to Frank but he is being a ****...he is way too emotional and way too obnoxious for his own good. If Marie and Trey, and Danny and Melinda can have a friendly conversation with each other and not act like fools, Frank needs to grow up and and stop acting like a child and do the same. -I don't think it is a bad move for St.Thomas to align with Austin, they are a pretty solid athletic team. Overall it was a disappointing first 18 minutes...I get the vibe that this season will be the same.

No dice /sadface[/QUOTE]I thought the same exact thing!!! I am loving all the new faces!!! Hope future challenges are packed with new faces like this one! And I'm a person who has watched from the very start......it's fine if they bring back old school repeat offenders (Like Trishelle, or Coral, Veronica, Tina, etc would be amazing) but please no people who have been on the last 2382382 challenges (Johnny, Evan, Kenny, Paula, etc).
Watching the preview clip, I felt like Team Austin shouldn't be there. They seemed really out of place with all the fresh faces. For some reason, I didn't feel the same way about Alton and Trishelle... I wonder if I would have felt the same way about Austin if Sydney had remained on the show. Out of the 32 cast members, only 12 of them are vets (by Challenge standards of 3+): Trishelle, Chet, Sarah, Jasmine, Alton, Camila, Big Easy, Cara Maria, Brandon, Danny, Melinda, and Wes. Dunbar and KellyAnne would have been on the list. Regardless of how I feel about them, I think that this will be a fun season. I was really hopeful that Frank wasn't going to be his normal self since he and Zach were all buddy-buddy, but then the first thing he really did was be all like "NO ASHLEY! DON'T TRY AND BE NICE! I WANT YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG, BUT I'M GOING TO WALK AWAY SO YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY PROVE ME WRONG." I never really had a problem with Zach or Ashley, and enjoyed them quite a bit, so I have no problem rooting for the San Diego team since I enjoy 3/4 of them. I'm rooting for Las Vegas, Cancun, and Brooklyn. Those are probably my favorite teams.
I love how fresh this challenge is feeling. I also live how they called New Orleans Back 2 New Orleans
This format is pretty interesting… Seeing as one pair determines the fate of the team, it could be in their best interest to throw in the strongest two people in and keep the team full, but if they lose, then the team only has two weaker players… Or the two strongest people on each team will stick together and throw in the weaker players and have a better chance of making it to the finals. Not sure which strategy to employ, but that’s sure to cause some drama. By the way... so if the winning team has 2 people, they're making 125K each?

I don't get why they are promoting this surprise mystery team like it is actually a good team. That is like the Victoria Secret fashion show promoting a sexy surprise model, and then Honey Booboo's mom comes out in lingerie.
Just saw the challenge preview. Lots of new people and hopefully good drama as well. The biggest disappointment I saw was Trey thinking about alligning with Austin. I'm like "really"? Overall, I think this is going to be a good season.

Personally, if I was on the power team and I had the chance to pick I'd always send in the stronger guy on the team and the weaker girl. Best chance to take out the opposing team's top players. For example, if Austin was sent in and couldn't decide I'd send Wes in with Lacey, CJ & Jasmine for Cancun, Alton & Nany (assumption) for Vegas, etc. The one exception would be Brooklyn. I'd probably send in Chet & Sarah because they don't really have an "alpha" male.

I mean look, we only saw 18 minutes... I highly doubt that Trey would be THAT dumb to join forces with Wes. I forgot who said it in one of the earlier pages, but Wes came out too hard too quickly! He needs to chill and play it cool a bit because he looks like an eager fool right off the bat. The old Wes used to be so confident that he could run it all... even back then, people didn’t like him but he knew that on his performance alone, he could be a force to be reckoned with (yeah, I really did just say that- such a dork I am). In that clip though, it appears that he is scrambling for back-up with an alliance.. with ANY alliance for that matter. I had a brief time where I was on team Wes... when he was dating Kelly Ann & was cool with Ev (even a little after that) because he did show some redeeming qualities and he was at least a strong competitor... and could win ish!! BUTTTT my feelings have changed with his mediocre performance and ability to annoy anyone AND everyone. So now I am going to shut up about it because why waste another breath on him... done lol
The first eighteen minutes were sick, but the ending killed it. MTV/BMP gives TJ this awesome line to introduce the new team, but the team doesn't represent anything that TJ said. No Real World team should fear Team FreshMeat/SpringBreak with Eric, Brandon, Cara Maria, and Camila, and to all who say you spoiled the new team for me, thanks a lot idiot, I DIDN'T! Go back and watch this episode and other promos and you can clearly see the band of misfits. IMO It would've been so ****** if a Road Rules team containing Derrick, Darrell, Rachel and Katie came out of that van. EVERYONE would be ****ting bricks and saying WOW this team is going to be tough to beat. When FM/SP comes out, everyone should be like yeah whatever there goes the weakest team in this competition. Shame on MTV/BMP for putting a FM team in place instead of a RR team. After all didn't this wonderful MTV Challenge creation start by pitting Real Worlders against Road Rulers. I know, I know times have changed, but still respect your history. Anyways I can't freaking wait for the full episode tomorrow. This is going to be the BEST CHALLENGE since the Duel 2! Lets hope the ratings show for it so the Challenges can keep living on!
