I wasn't even able to watch tonight. Trey and Laura were still annoying (they did block me on twitter for some random reason.) Time to move the story on...
They must not be fans of contemporary art. ;)
I can't quite put my finger on it but their Showmance reminds me of another one I just can't think who's and I've seen alot of reality shows in my lifetime.
Brendon and Rachel? Haha.
They must not be fans of contemporary art.
Obviously not! :D

Can we just fan fiction the rest of the episodes of this season and bring Bacchus and his new girl into the cast? :kiss3:
I mean I like both Trey and Laura individually but together they suck the main thing that annoys me is how Laura acts around Trey treating him like he's God's gift by grooming him and laughing at everything he does or says. I can't quite put my finger on it but their Showmance reminds me of another one I just can't think who's and I've seen alot of reality shows in my lifetime.
I have seen bits and pieces of RW Hawaii and it reminds me of the relationship between the guy they cast who worked for BMP as an intern and the blond girl on that season.

So far I think this was probably the best episode of the season. But something feels off, what's up with the bad editing and awful music choices? It completely changes the show and makes it seem amateurish. Tired of Trey and Laura. They're boring and too much screentime to watch them do the same thing over and over again. I'd much rather see Marie and Robb's relationship. Pretty good episode.

I'm no fan of the content of the Kardashian's show, but it's very slick TV. RW is just tired and formulaic.
Honestly I gotta agree...this episode was boring. Enough with these couples lets see something else.
Laura just blocked me on twitter and all I did was post a coy caricature with a knife that may or may not have been her. Obviously a touchy subject! I guess on the bright side, I had been holding back how I really feel and in the future won't feel guilty for sharing.
hahahahah this is hilarious! Good work, my friend. So yeah - the action of this season is a little lacking, but honestly, I think I like all 7 roommates this time. However - the fact that they have their own private boat driver kind of makes me sick. I mean - good for them! That's ******* **** and ****, but what's so REAL about that!? Based on how the ratings are turning out, this season seems like it'll definitely be a loss for MTV. It'd be interesting to see if The Challenge series could survive without RW. Fresh Meat 8, here we come!!!!

Yeah I'm no fan either lol but I must admit that show is edited extremely well. I think maybe it's time to switch things up or at least start editing/putting the same amount of time into RW that they put into KUWTK.
Bacchus, were your tweeting to Laura as "Bacchus" or "Vevmo?" Whichever one it is, I think it's incumbent upon members who exchange tweets with her to suggest she reinstate you. I'll certainly do so. She just doesn't yet know your sense of humor.

The problem isn't with the casts perse but it's strictly with the editing and stories they choose to tell. Hell for San Diego if they focused on Alex's struggles with racism in Africa and how she overcame them(she had arguably the most interesting background out of that entire cast), Frank's terrible home life, Priscilla growing up with a young single mother etc. the show would've been received a lot better than it had been. Real World needs to go BACK TO BASICS and tell these kids stories and not just show the superficial relationships and situations they get into.

I would love a show that did that.
AMAZING IDEA! i would love a show that did that
So would a lot of people but we are no longer in the Oprah era of editing. We are now in the Jersey Shore Age of Television
I have seen bits and pieces of RW Hawaii and it reminds me of the relationship between the guy they cast who worked for BMP as an intern and the blond girl on that season.
My Thoughts exactly. I loved most of the RW/RR/The Challenges that was done on other sites in the past. Some of them like the fictional Montreal and Minneapolis were classic.
We are now in the Jersey Shore Age of Television
:suicide2:
I'd have to go back and look at it but I remenber thinking that the recent Vegas season seemed a lot different to me from an editing stand point. Things seemed a lot more crisp and I remarked on this to a couple of friends. This episode was so-so to me. Laura really seems all over Trey, for some kind of player, she really fell hard and fast. She's picking warts off the man, that's in pretty deep. The funniest and most jacked up scene is the one where everybody was crawling into someone's bed yet Brandon was laying all alone, abandoned in that room. Production should just randomly send three people over to the house to stir some **** up lol. Everybody is getting to comfortable. Red's Semi-GF can't visit soon enough! I'm really curious to listen to the latest after buzz show because Adam Royer has been ripping these cast members to shreds. Calling the women ugly, calling Brandon a *****. The guy isn't holding back, he's even bothering me a little bit and I got nothing to do with the cast. He will probably rip Laura to shreds and then make fun of Brandon again or something.
I really hope this season gets better. I dvr'd the episode and watched a few minutes of it and immediately got bored. I even forgot that the episode was on for about almost half an hour as I somehow ended up doing something. That's how boring I think the season is right now. I do love the location though. I know it's edited but I just can't get over the fact of how Laura is. It's just sad of how the way she potrayed in television. I did lol'd big time at the picture for this thread. Nice work! Loved it Bacchus XD
I'm really curious to listen to the latest after buzz show because Adam Royer has been ripping these cast members to shreds. Calling the women ugly, calling Brandon a *****.
Hm...seems like he never learned you shouldn't throw stones in glass houses.
Hm...seems like he never learned you shouldn't throw stones in glass houses.
I have a really hard time figuring out how Adam Royer is relevant in anyone's world. Throwing a single stone at his "glass house" would seem to be a great waste of anyone's time.
Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. I kind of noticed that too when I was watching, everyone pretty much gets along and is very comfortable which is a good and bad thing. The bad thing is it makes the season kind of boring. I'm hoping when Robb's gf visits something interesting will happen.
Trey and Laura (Real World, Simmons and Lisanti), 15 points: I've written before that if your significant other ever says to you, “I am going on the Real World,” what they really are saying to you is, “I am going to start sleeping with other people; we can either break up now or break up on the phone at 3:00 a.m. on national television while I am inslopsicated and about to crawl into my roommate’s bed to coitus and/or vomit.” Well, Trey from Real World decided to break up with his “girlfriend back home” before coming on the show and immediately started hooking up with his roommate/ex-lingerie football league quarterback Laura. After an evening of awkward dancing, the two of them coitused (25 points) because, well, I’ll let Laura explain why: “I tried to be good and then my ****** took over, and that was the end of that.” This phrase just became the excuse for all of my future bad behavior. “Why was I speeding? Sorry, officer, I tried to be good and then my ****** took over, and that was the end of that.” Robb (Real World, Connor), 10 points: Rob With Two Bs on Real World also has the “girl back home” thing going on but is super-flirty with his roommate Marie the International Heineken Smuggler. In a nice moment at the beginning of the episode, his girl back home tells him, “I need to tell you this and I don’t want you to be freaked out by it, OK? I literally have no interest in any other guy touching me.” Then, of course, at the end of the episode, she tells him that she had sex with someone else. It is at this moment, hearing this confession, that we learn how Rob With Two Bs handles emotional adversity — he beats the **** out of himself. Right when she breaks the news to him, he takes the phone and smashes himself in the face with it five or six times (10 points for assaulting inanimate object). Whoever created the proverb “absence makes the heart grow fonder” was probably on an ancient version of the Real World and trying to convince himself that his Neanderthal girlfriend wasn’t going to cheat on him while he was gone. Marie (Real World, Simmons), 9 points: Marie the International Heineken Smuggler got a little slammered this week (9 points) on Real World and had this exchange with Rob With Two Bs: Marie the International Heineken Smuggler: “I just want you to know if I get really drunk and I try to have sex with you, don’t have sex with me.” Rob With Two Bs: “I have too much respect for you to do that.” Ladies, any man that ever says this to you is a liar. I know it's counter-intuitive, but you are better off with the guy who says, “Honestly, I am going to keep plying you with alcohol every day until that happens” than the guy who says, “I have too much respect for you to do that” a hundred times out of a hundred.
via

lol, not 100 out of 100, well thats in real life. On a TV show yeah. Also, me and my friends (We are from and live on St. Thomas) did a funny response/recap video to this episode. Could you check it out please? That recap was better than the whole episode lol keep up the good work.
lol thank you, it means a lot.
Does anyone know what time the show comes on in Mountain Time?
Does anyone know what time the show comes on in Mountain Time?
Go to tvguide.com and plug your zip code into their TV listings (What's on TV -> TV listings).
Does anyone know what time the show comes on in Mountain Time?
It should be the same as everywhere else excluding Hawaii.
