IDK I'm just not feeling Radwanska haha, she seems like the type that can't maintain a #1 or dominant a la Azarenka, Sharapova, Serena.
I'm happy Serena is so close to the finish line. Aga' is a tricky player, but like I said before one match, one set, one game, one point at a time.
WHY? I love me some Serena Williams. I was so nervous that Venus and Serena were going to both lose and become washed up.
She has a horrible attitude. Venus toned that way down over the years, at least.
Rodger vs Andy this should be an interesting match up! Head to Head Andy leads 8-7, but they only played against each other in hard courts. This will be an epic match.
In reality it's up to Serena to lose this final. Radwanska is now being reported to be sick, so now she has to climb two mountains (Serena's power & feeling ill). Serena just has to stay focus, calm, and really give it all she's got, because Aga is still a dangerous player.
SERENA WON!!! I was so excited to see her win her 5th Wimbledon, and her 14th Grand Slam title. What a great and inspirational story & comeback. This Wimbledon would be perfect with Murray beating Roger.

I'll be up at 6 rooting for him!!! And hurray for Venus!! Glad she and her sis got the doubles win!! And congrats to Jonny Marray and Freddie Nielsen, I liked Nielsen since I saw a bit of him during Hopman Cup with Wozniacki.
Roger won, but Andy speech was so sad :'(
Overall great Championships! Best Grand Slam this year so far. Next up Olympics! After that the US Open.
I think the US Open will be epic! A battle of the 3 winners from the year:
Women: Serena, Azarenka, Sharapova
Men: Djokovic, Nadal, Federer
I'm going with Serena & Djokovic.
Brilliant play from Fed after the roof closed. Andy's speech brought tears to my eyes!!! I enjoyed this Wimbledon as well! That Rosol match especially.
I'm really going to be rooting for Murray to medal and also win the US Open because he has said that is his favorite slam and best surface (hardcourts).

Yes the Rosol match was highlight for me as well.
I'm rooting for Andy as well, but I can't see him winning US Open this year. Joker & Rafa both want the #1 ranking again, and I see them wanting this championship badly! I think his chance will come next year, just a gut feeling.
I was so hoping for Murray to win and am looking forward to the Olympics. Can't wait till USA actually has men that can challenge for a title each slam. I haven't looked but this has to be the longest that The USA has gone without winning a mens grand slam title.

Ya if not this year, I'm sure next year. He is getting so much closer!

Yes it will be very exciting when another U.S. man can breakthrough!

You will be waiting a while for that. Isner is the "best" US player and he will be lucky to sniff a semi of a major.
I was so hoping for Murray to win
I was actually pulling for anyone but Murray. I find it hilarious that the Brits have not won a men's singles title in their own tournement in over 76 years. :devil2:
I can't wait! August 27-September 9
Who are your picks?
My picks:
Men:
1)Djokovic
2)Federer
3)Murray
Women:
1)Serena
2)Serena (not a mistake)
3)Azarenka
Seriously, when Serena is on NO ONE can beat her. If she brings the same focus as she did at the Olympics, she can easily win this. It all depends on her, and if she doesn't win it, Azarenka will take it. Hard Court is her best surface!
I'm excited too!
Andy Murray
Roger Federer
Novak Djokovic
Serena Williams
Na Li (this pick makes me super nervous, but she has looked very sharp off the ground the past two tourneys)
Victoria Azarenka
But the Serena I saw at Wimbledon and the one I saw in Cincinnati this week were completely different, hopefully the champ shows up in NY.

I hope Wimbledon Serena shows up!!
The Draw was release today, potential matches:
R2: Venus vs Kerber
Semis: Murray vs Federer
huge match up in Li na, Stosur, and Kimmy being in the same
Djokovic should easily make the finals and Serena's draw is TOO EASY! If she comes in form, with faith, focus, patience she should easily cakewalk to the final.

I'd love it if she took out Vandeweghe, Sanchez, Makarova, Kirilenko, Wozniacki, Kerber/Williams and Na/Clijsters.
And if Murray beats Federer and Djokovic for his first slam too I'd be beyond happy!!!!!!!
I am pretty excited. Last major of the year.
Djokovic's side of the draw is a breeze. He should make it. Only person that worries me is Del Potro. He scares me. Djokovic is still my pick.
Serena is my other. I just cannot see anyone beating her. And then looking at this draw, I definitely do not see any of these girls beating her. Stranger things have happened but I dont see it happening here
