And the winners of Nationals will be: drum roll please They filmed two winners, VA first, then ND for first place - but ND got confetti and VA didn’t.--from one source From another source--the final episode of the season is a school awards ceremony in which ND sings "We are the Champions" as the last song of the season Season 4 is supposed to include NYC, LA, Louisville, and Lima regularly
As soon as I read they were singing this, then I kind of figured that they would win.

Here's the first video from Glee Project, season 2: I thought the guy at the hot dog stand had a very high voice until I realized he was transgender. And the girl in the wheelchair's voice is...well, not something I'd like to hear. There has also been a photo posted that potentially shows a final 6 of Michael, Blake (the two guys discovered through "industry channels"), Aylin, Ali, Lily Mae, and Shanna.

It is weird that I find the production aspects of TGP ten times better than the actual Glee Show. Any who, I'd appreciate it if somebody threw out a reminder around June 5 or else I might forget it. Interesting that 4 girls and only 2 guys are in the top 6.
Interesting that 4 girls and only 2 guys are in the top 6.
What about it is interesting to you? Just curious.
What about it is interesting to you? Just curious.
Makes me curious if they are going to be losing more of the females from the current cast than males for Season 4. Plus, I felt like maybe in season 1 of TGP, and it sounds rude and crude to some maybe, but I felt like Ryan Murphy kept some of the boys around longer than the girls because he found them cute--Damien in particular had a lot of bad weeks but always never went home and that Mattheus or however you spell it, guy had virtually no talent from Day 1 but stayed around way too long. Either way, it was mostly boys at the end and now it appears to be mostly girls. I am not a big believer in coincidence when it comes to such things, so I find the switch interesting.

I saw somewhere, SurvivorSucks maybe, that Brittany does not graduate.
So biggest spoiler EVER: My sister played on extra on the Nationals episode. She filmed her part last Monday (this was a day that Lindsay Lohan wasn't there) and apparently is playing a stagehand that moves a podium off the stage but also presents Mr. Schuester the award that New Directions gets.
That looked like Rex Lee to me.

The second episode of season 4 is supposed to be a Brittany Spears tribute. LOL. A bit early and probably well subject to change.
That looked like Rex Lee to me.
Yeah to me too. My sister confused the heck out of me - and on purpose, too. Apparently, she wasn't even there at the Nationals competition and she actually was filming the Teacher of the Year award scene. You can briefly see her moving the podium off the stage at the beginning of "We Are the Champions." She's the one on the left with shorter hair. I guess she's also the person who hands the award to Tina before she gives it to Will, but that isn't shown either. I'm kind of bummed she wasn't shown more. But just to clarify, I asked my sister if she was a middle-aged Asian man... and she said yes. So that might be her out there after all.
Kate Hudson/Horseface spoilers: -Kate Hudson is playing a NYADA dance teacher who butts heads with Rachel. -Kurt has not gotten into NYADA, but still moves to NYC and "finds himself in an establishment where Sarah Jessica Parker is his manager of sorts, but not in a performance sense". -Season 4 may also follow Finn through Army boot camp - Monteith mentioned he is "doing more CrossFit and less Snickers bars" via
None of this information really pleases me. I'm not a fan one bit. I think it may be almost time for me to quit watching Glee.
The only thing that even sparked my interest is Sarah Jessica Parker. Why does Ryan Murphy think we give two ****s about Rachel and Finn?

I'm just not a fan of her at all, especially after American Idol. She just really lacks personality in my opinion. Yeah, she can sing...but this is acting.

Pretty much all the major characters are coming back for Season 4 but some of them appear to be infrequent appearances. I was surprised Darren Criss is going to be back. Rory is an unknown--my guess is not. Chord Overstreet is in negotiations still so my guess will be "not that often". Santana may end up in NYC with Rachel based on some hints being dropped. I have no idea why they are keeping droopy girl on TGP still. She is the most stoic person I have ever seen on one of these type shows.
I just hope Sugar is back in some capacity. She was always a bright spot of an episode for me. Mostly because the actress is from "American Dreams" and I'll follow that cast wherever they go. But she's actually really talented (she can actually sing if they randomly decide to let the character be a singer). I don't know how I feel about the news of everybody being back. In a weird way, it makes me feel bad for Tina because chances are this year won't end up being her year like they made it out to be LOL. I'm happy Chord is back though. I'm a big Sam fan for some reason. Don't really care if Rory or Joe come back, but part of me hopes they do just for the sake of continuity. It'd be weird if they just didn't focus much on the High School aspect. Maybe that's because I'm not really interested in Kurt/Rachel/Finn/whoever being in NY.
From the Comic-Con panel.
The Big Revelations: The producers were mum on big revelations, but here are a few tidbits: The next Britney Spears tribute will be the second episode of the season and feature Heather Morris heavily. The episode will also explore Rachel’s transition to New York. Fresh off her breakup with Finn, Ms. Berry will find herself as a big fish in a really, really big pond in New York City. Kate Hudson will play her negative-reinforcement-loving dance teacher. The series regulars in season 3 will be back “in some capacity” for season 4, says Falchuk. Not every episode, though — the cast is too big to accommodate everyone on each episode. Chord Overstreet — recurring in season 3 — isn’t locked in to return as a season 4 series regular… yet. Producers are hopeful that a deal will come through, though. They feel the same way about Sam and Alex, contestants of The Glee Project, neither of whom are officially signed on for the new season. Glee favorites will find themselves all over the place. Santana is cheerleading at the University of Louisville, Finn is prepping to join the army (which led the crowd to plead for Monteith not to shave his head), and Kurt is still in Lima, stuck in a bit of a rut. Will and Emma aren’t married yet, but they are living together, happily engaged, and “doing dirty things.” We’ll be meeting Puck’s little brother this season, and if producer Ian Brennan has his way, Artie’s parents as well. While they haven’t been written into the show yet, he says he’s always dreamed of Artie’s mother being an obsessive hoarder. Kevin McHale says that if the character ever makes the show, he’d love to see Katey Sagal play his mom and Harry Connick Jr. play his dad.
via
Lea Michele (Rachel) What's ahead: Ms. Berry has her hands full with a roommate from **** and a new admirer in Brody Weston (Dean Geyer) whom she meets -- wait for it! -- in the co-ed bathroom of her dorm, Michele says. "He's definitely interested in her but I think that she is very hesitant because she doesn't really know where things stand with Finn; she doesn't want to make any moves before she knows where they stand and Brody's not going to give up," the actress tells THR of her new mentor -- who has already performed on Broadway. "He's like a cross between Jesse St. James and Finn." Elsewhere, Rachel's new roommate may not immediately be seen but she'll most definitely be heard. "You see Rachel for the first time in her bed, covering her ears from the *** noises that her roommate is making and you never see the roommate -- as of now -- you can just hear her," Michele says with a smile. "It's going to be hilarious." Cory Monteith (Finn) What's ahead: Monteith was a no-show at Fox's TCA party Monday night but executive producer Ian Brennan says Finn's status continues to confound his friends when Season 4 picks up. "We start up and no one has heard from Finn, no one really knows where he is; he's gone off to the Army and that's all we know," he notes. "Rachel is sort of forced with the question, 'Do I move on or don't I?'" Chris Colfer (Kurt) What's ahead: Confirmed series regular Colfer has yet to chat with co-creator Ryan Murphy about precisely where Kurt's story line is headed but knows the basics: "Kurt is going to be mentored by Sarah Jessica Parker and be in Ohio first and eventually get to New York but I don't know how he's going to do it," he offered. As for what Kurt's exit from Ohio could mean for his relationship with Blaine (Darren Criss), Colfer only knows one thing is certain -- he's glad he's not writing those scenes. "I'm so glad I'm not the decision maker in that one! I'm a chess piece, I'm not the player. I just hope the girls on Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter don't get mad at me!" he laughed. As for what he wants to see for his Glee counterpart, Colfer says it's time for Kurt to smile. "Kurt was so sad last season, he just lost so much -- he didn't get into the school play, he didn't get into college, he didn't get to be school president. I just want to see him win a little and be happy." Beyond Glee: The Teen Choice Award winner has his hands full at the moment, promoting his film Struck By Lightning over the weekend at Outfest and touring the country to support his young-adult book In the Land of Stories. "I was really nervous no one was going to show up because I've never done anything just by my lonesome, I've always had my Glee stars with me on those things," he says. "But it's been fantastic and selling out some places. I couldn't be happier." Amber Riley (Mercedes) What's ahead: While Riley has yet to see a script for Season 4 yet, she's game for however much the series wants her there -- whether it's for story lines set in L.A. or not. "If it were up to me, I'd see Mercedes pursuing her dreams, where ever it is and if that's in L.A., I'd be A-OK with it," she says. As for if the guy who helped get the aspiring singer out to L.A in the first place, Riley is optimistic about a reunion with new series regular Chord Overstreet. "There may be some Samcedes again, who knows!" Beyond Glee: Riley, who hosts Tuesday's episode of Oxygen's The Glee Project, said she was impressed by the skills of all the remaining contestants and noted Ali's voice gave her "goose bumps." Elsewhere, Riley's working -- and writing songs! -- for her solo album, which she described as "R&B with a pop feel." "It's hard to transition from actor to artist, it's hard to get people to see you in a different light," she told THR, noting that she and co-star Naya Rivera have been toying with the idea of recording a duet. Chord Overstreet (Sam) What's ahead: The new series regular starts shooting Tuesday and (shocker!) is game for a reunion with former flame Mercedes. "There's a potential for anything in TV, we will see what happens and see where the writers go with the story. I thought it was endearing that he still cared about her even though they weren't together," he told THR of Sam's romantic gesture that landed Mercedes a gig on the West Coast. As for returning to the depleted choir room, there's some work to be done after the departures of Rachel and company. "It's me, Kevin McHale (Artie) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) who are the ones left in the school and we all have to step up," he offered. Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) What's ahead: Will has his hands full now that New Directions is a winner. "We've never been on top before, it's always been about molding this group of misfits to come to where we came and now it's a) how do you stay on top; and b) how do you keep the good spirits that you have and bring it to a new generation of kids?" Morrison told THR. "Glee is now the coolest club at school so everyone is auditioning and it's hard for me to find people who are actually passionate about performing." Outside of McKinley, Morrison hopes wedding bells will be ringing during Season 4. "They say it's in the cards that we'll have a wedding this year; that's why I think they're going to do it -- to have everyone come back for it." Beyond Glee: Morrison spent the summer vacationing -- and in the studio recording his second album of Broadway standards. Heather Morris (Brittany) What's ahead: Morris was also MIA at Fox's shindig but Brennan says Brittany will be in a strange position having to return to McKinley as a second-year senior after failing to graduate with a 0.0 GPA. "A lot of what that character goes through is that it's not the greatest thing to be a super-senior, it's not so super; she's in a strange position where she's not like the rest of the kids there but not able to move on," he says of the one-time class president who is now without her girlfriend, Santana (Naya Rivera), who graduated and went off to college. "She's stuck in a way and she's away from the person who has been a huge thing for her for two years now." Jacob Artist (Jake Puckerman) What's ahead: Artist told THRthat he knows Puck's younger half-brother has an attitude that may hinder his efforts with New Directions, but Brennan hinted that the character's similarities to Puck (Mark Salling) may end there. "He's vastly different from any character we've had on the show in a really interesting and surprising way," he says. "There's great reveals with that character. We might have a star on our hands." Glee's fourth season premieres in its new night and time slot on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. Hit the comments with what you're looking forward to seeing.
via
Some random spoilers I've come across the past week: - Two new girls have been cast for New Directions, in addition to Puck's brother. - The first group number will be "Chasing Pavements" by Adele. - A much anticipated episode will be called "The Break Up" (Brittany/Santana, Blaine/Kurt?) - Sam will get a new girlfriend. - The students will reunite for a big two-part Thanksgiving/Sectionals holiday special. - Quinn, Puck, Mike, and Mercedes won't be appearing much outside of special occasions (no real surprise there...) - The new lead/star of ND will surprise viewers. Actually, most of these are pretty much summed up in this link: Glee Season 4 News
I was wondering how long it would take them to cover "Call Me Maybe". Answer: 1 episode. Glee: Lea Michele, Melissa Benoist to Duet on Billy Joel Ballad - TVLine
