Survivor: One World - Perception is Not Always Reality

That is not what I was expecting at all from Kat and is probably the best thing she's said this entire game.
I agree, that's why she stood out like a sore thumb. I think Sabrina will at least get a vote, but I'm not sure that Chelsea will get that many votes.
I agree she stood out like a sore thumb. I'd like her to play again with some heavy hitters to see how she plays. It's always interesting to see Survivors play again, because you get to see if they adjust their games (Parvati) or if they play the exact same way (Russell). As for the jury...now I'm not so sure. Everything Chelsea said was all about Kim. Sabrina might get one vote but as of right now it looks like a unanimous win for Kim.
That is not what I was expecting at all from Kat and is probably the best thing she's said this entire game.
Definitely came out of left field. And I'm glad someone finally on the jury addresses the other jurors stating they should vote based off who played the best game and not out of spite.
Kat just gave one of the better jury speeches I've seen on Survivor! Didn't see that one coming...
Definitely came out of left field. And I'm glad someone finally on the jury addresses the other jurors stating they should vote based off who played the best game and not out of spite.
I believe Erik did that on Samoa but no one listened.
I believe Erik did that on Samoa but no one listened.
Yeah, but no one could see through Russell's hate for them all.
Well, I was right on the 7-2 part. Chelsea pulled a Kimmel so I'm not too surprised Sabrina ended up getting second although I am surprised she got two votes. Well deserved win by Kim. I couldn't see anyone else winning.
Not shocked that Kim won. Not surprised at all...
And the most predictable season of Survivor comes to an end. This was even more surprising than Redemption Island.
I find it funny that Leif said he was really hurt when he was voted off and ended up voting for Sabrina, when Kim didn't vote for him on the night he was voted off - Chelsea and Sabrina did. Of course, he didn't know that.
Definitely watching the reunion just to see what's in store for next season!
Did anyone see Kourtney on that stage?
3 returners who were medically evacuate...hmmm
3 returners who were medically evacuate...hmmm
I think it's a great idea, especially from the people I've heard that it's going to be.
Michael Skupin (Australian Outback), Jonathan Penner (Cook Islands), and Russell Swan (Samoa)

Did anyone see Kourtney on that stage?
I saw her tattoos in the background when they were talking to someone else.
Just hoping not an excuse to have Colton back!
Well, that severely narrows down the list of returnees: Michael Skupin (Australia) Bruce Kanegai (Exile Island) Gary Stritesky (Fiji) Jonathan Penner (Fans vs Favorites) James Clement (Fans vs Favorites) Joe Dowdle (Tocantins) Mike Borassi (Samoa) Russell Swan (Samoa) Kourtney Moon (One World) Colton Cumbie (One World)
Just hoping not an excuse to have Colton back!
Second Chances is a theme they've been throwing around for a while now, although I think they were also considering players who had been voted out early.
Second Chances is a theme they've been throwing around for a while now, although I think they were also considering players who had been voted out early.
I'm glad they didn't go with the ones that were voted out too early. Half of those, we probably wouldn't remember their names.
I'm glad they didn't go with the ones that were voted out too early. Half of those, we probably wouldn't remember their names.
I had a hard enough time remembering the guy from Tocantins being medically evacuated. I think it's safe to say he won't be returning. I'd love love love to see Skupin. The original medevac and someone who could probably make it far in this game. I also wouldn't mind seeing Penner as I like his personality and he's someone who can shake things up. I think that if Colton comes back, he will be an early vote off and possibly a first vote off. He played like an ******* the first time which I think is irreparable, he doesn't do anything around camp, and he isn't good at physical challenges.
I haven't been on here in awhile and just wanted to come by and comment on what I felt was one of the greatest seasons of Survivor in recent years. Kim was an excellent player and I feel that she deserved it the most. I was pretty surprised that Chelsea didn't get any votes (and even more surprised that Sabrina did), but Kim definitely deserved the title.

While Kim played one of the best games ever and was definitely deserving of the win (and I hate using the term deserving), she was playing with a bunch of dummies who handed her the win. This has been one of the worst seasons ever. I thought Chelsea was a shoo-in for second, but she completely ****ed up her jury management. Every statement out of her mouth was about Kim.
I just noticed this. Did you guys realize that they made Monica and Colton switch seats? Also: season 25 is apparently being filmed right now, per this article from Andy Dehnart. I hope that rules out Kourtney and Colton.
I'm happy for Kim. I would have voted for her.

This season sucked. Kim was by far the most dominant game by a woman ever (although Rob might have outdone her in RI), but there was no switches in power. It was Colton & Kim the entire season until Colton got evacuated. Nothing against Kim, I'd give the audience a boring season, too, if it mean me taking home the million.
While I did not exactly enjoy this season, I have to say that this finale redeemed a lot. A very deserving winner, and probably the least bitter jury in recent years.
While I did not exactly enjoy this season, I have to say that this finale redeemed a lot. A very deserving winner, and probably the least bitter jury in recent years.
The finale was a fitting end to the season. Boring and predictable. I only watched the reunion and the final tribal and that was enough to know I didn't miss anything. Love him or hate him, Colton was right when he said that it got boring after he left. I actually enjoyed the first half of the season.
If filming now, then glad Colton is out! As much as I like Penner, wouldn't it have to be called Third Chances if he was going to be on? I think he was on his regular season and then an all-stars. For that matter, James as well. That should narrow things down a bit. Love love love Skupin! Hope he is back!
Wow, Kat. The dumbest person this season makes a great jury speech...who knew?
Kat's speech was definitely moving. I wish her great health, and am sending good mental fan-vibes her way! She's young, but you know what, I guess she does have an OK perspective on things.
I think it's a great idea, especially from the people I've heard that it's going to be.
Michael Skupin (Australian Outback), Jonathan Penner (Cook Islands), and Russell Swan (Samoa)

And about the returning three...
If Skupin comes back, I will lose my **** man. I'd be so so so happy. Russell Swan too! He had so much heart!

Well, that severely narrows down the list of returnees: Michael Skupin (Australia) Bruce Kanegai (Exile Island) Gary Stritesky (Fiji) Jonathan Penner (Fans vs Favorites) James Clement (Fans vs Favorites) Joe Dowdle (Tocantins) Mike Borassi (Samoa) Russell Swan (Samoa) Kourtney Moon (One World) Colton Cumbie (One World)
I never really understood what was so great about Penner. IDK. I was never that big of a fan?
I'm happy Kim won. She was a sick player. One of the best females to play the game. Smart, strong and optimistic. She was never *****y and never lost focus. The thing she did different from most, was she legitimately got to know people. In the final 5 Kim knew who would vote for her (Alicia and Christina) if she decided to take them instead of Chelsea and Sabrina, they probably wouldn't have voted for her. And what's up with Troyzan? Sour Grapes? Kim played the best game hands down. Like I said I think she would have won in any season. Watching her was like watching a cat catch it's prey. It was beautiful!
