Skylar is good, but not top 3 good. Mosdef not Top 2 or winner status. I dont see Skylar, Elise, or Hollie is Top 3. Everybody else I can see.
My Top 3: Jessica, Colton, Joshua.

The judges are so biased its just sickening. Last year was actually **n to watch because Haley got thrown under the bus by the judges but America basically said F U to the judges and got her far.
This season the judges clearly want Hollie and Elise out and I have a feeling they are both doomed in the next two eliminations even though I personally feel like they are 2 of the better singers in the competition.
Jessica is so blah to me anymore.
Phillip has shown no versatility and comes off like a ******* that doesnt want to grow as an artist because he doesnt listen to anyones advice.
Joshua oversings all of his songs and the tongue bath the judges give him is just annoying.
Skylar does well but she is rarely called out on her pitch.
Colton has his own unique style but I feel lik he is pitchy as well.
This season blows compared to last year.

Colton is the most original one left! Every week is something new with him. He's probably the most marketable and there's no doubt that his music is the most relevant to what is played on the radio today. I wasn't blown away by him last night, but he was by no means bad.
Hollie did amazing last night! She blew Jessica out of the water!! I was talking to some people this morning about the show and the general consensus was that Hollie and Skylar were the best of the night.

I agree. It sucks because he doesn't have a very good voice and every week is the same for him, with the exception of his Usher cover. When he wins he'll probably be about as successful as Taylor Hicks. I just can't see many people going out and buying his music.
I agree that many people aren't giving Hollie her dues and now that she seems to have "figured it out" with connecting to the songs she could be a threat to Sanchez. I hope so anyway.
Was it just me or did the second round of songs mostly suck last night? I guess that's what happens with the oldies themes where some of these young people can't really connect to the song. AI should stick to options that are closer to what we're likely to hear on the radio today.

I disagree with the bolded statement. There are many rocker types that sing just like him and do what he does. I think Colton is probably the most relevant person left but I dont think he is very original. Elise and Phillip are the most original contestants left, but Phillip shows no versatility. Colton needs to work on singing in tune.
I also disagree with whoever said Jessica is the best singer...I prefer Hollie and everytime the judges say she is pitchy I never get it, even when I watch her performances back I think she stays in pitch. Its Colton and Skylar who are pitchy.
Talent-wise I think it's pretty close between her and Josh but they are yards ahead of the rest. Talent doesn't always translate to votes though. Before she made her first Bottom 3/danger zone appearance she wasn't very relatable but now that she's shown some vulnerability she will draw extra sympathy votes.
In the end it doesn't really matter because they'll both end up with record deals, although I'm not sure either of them has the potential to becomes a Kelly/Carrie.

Better singer, sure. But this is not a show where I think the better singer necessarily is the final winner. I just think the fix in in for Phillip Phillips unless he royally screws up.

The thing about Jessica is, people don't like her. Even after being eliminated she's shown no personality. She has a great voice, but she doesn't have that "it factor" that you need on shows like this. She's absolutely safe tonight, and probably next week, but chances are she won't win.
I think Joshua is by far the most over rated this season. What has he done that we haven't already seen on the show?

Colton was so cocky and annoying. He really isnt that unique and the whole teen girl "I think you are cute thats why I'm voting for you" is just getting old, we need diversity in our winners...and that means no Colton or Phillip.
Elise is a true artist that knows who she is as a performer and has such a uniqueness to her, her voice is amazing.
I'm also glad Hollie stayed, she is so cute and fun and pretty and has such a good voice.
Now if next week Joshua would leave I'd be really happy.

Those people have careers, but they've died down about a year or so after Idol. Scotty's will as well. I live in Nashville and I barely hear of him anymore. It's just like that. WGWG or not, they are popular. Honestly no one is that great this year.
I bet Philip will win though. It's what the majority of the public want if they vote that way.
Yeah I dont honestly see how Phillip could lose at this point. I mean Elise and Hollie are on borrowed time. Joshua's mantasia thing will get old ala Jacob from last season. Skylar does have the country votes but she isnt as cute as Lauren or Carrie, and she has some pretty pitchy and underwhelming performances that I can see knocking her out. Jessica has a shot at making the finals just based on her fanbase, but wow is she boring or what, I always forget about her when trying to think of who is left in the competition. Phillip has nothing to worry about really. I dont even think he has to even sing to win at this point.

I've reevaluated the remaining 6 after listening to stuff on YouTube all weekend. Now I definitely think the Top 2 should be Jessica and Hollie (yeah, right that'll happen).
Jessica is great when she sings the right songs. The stuff she sings on her channel is right for her. The stuff she's done so far on the show has been pretty vanilla-flavored. I point the finger of blame at Jimmy for not being more critical of her song choices. I can see the emotion coming from her when she sings a good song and I feel the connection. That's been lacking on the show so far, but if she can find it, she'll coast.
Hollie is also really good. The stuff from her channel is markedly better than what she's offered on the show so far and my best guess as to why is that she's completely relaxed in the videos. I don't feel like she has as much range as Jessica but the things she does well, she does REALLY well (like Adele). Hopefully after letting go a bit last week she can ride that and just cut loose and enjoy herself, but it might be a bit late in the competition to save herself. I hope not.

Anyone who sits in the bottom with Hollie should be scared. I'm sure Erica, Skylar, Deandre, HeeJun, Colton, and Elise would agree. I actually think she has by far shown the most growth this season! Personally, I prefer her voice to Jessica's, it's SO much more unique!
aww I think Hollie is great, she has such a classy style and brings something different to her performances. I like her the best of anyone left because Josh is way too over the top and overpraised, Jessica is so boring and unpersonable and Phillip is just terrible at singing.
