When you are the champ, there is a big target on your back and opponents' rosters always get updated vs. other weeks where teams might have half their roster on the DL. I've come to peace with this reality and I still plan on winning. :D

The power ranking is comprised of three sets of scores: Record, Breakdown and Points.
[B]Record:[/B] The team with the best record gets 10 points. The next best 9, and so forth.
[B]Breakdown:[/B] This shows your record if you were playing every other team every week (it is generally the best gauge of a teams performance in a head to head league.)
So for instance, this week I scored the most points so I would have beaten everyone. Thus I get credit for 9 wins and no loses. Bazooka joe scored the second most points so he would have beaten everyone but me, so he gets 8 wins 1 loss. The Cappers scored the least amount of points so they would have lost to everyone. Thus they get 9 loses and no wins.
These records accumulate over the season and the team with the best record in any given week is given 10 points. The next best record 9 points and so forth.
[B]Points:[/B] This is self explanatory. The team with the most points scored total gets 10 points. The next most points scored 9 points, etc.
Add up all three and you get a power score. The team with the highest power scored is ranked first. The team with the second highest power score second and so forth.

I'd like to thank my fellow players for Johan Santana. It's one thing to have the best hitting team in fantasy baseball, but I am slowly moving toward having the best pitching team as well through waiver wire acquisitions.

[B]Note to self:[/B] Cappers do not get a season two. Honestly, I do not think there will be another season. The only thing that keeps me going is how large a margin of points I can finish over the next best team.

I know. I drop players every week and then pick them up when I need them again. It is like a storage area for grade A talent. :D
Lol yea I have picked up my share of good people too. The only things I don't like is that there is no DL so you either have to drop them or keep them on your bench and also that it is weekly I would rather have it daily but either way I enjoy playing fantasy.
I enjoy that Bazooka is picking up my cast offs. Yes, Middlebrooks will one day be the man. Not this year and I have Cabrera to fill that slot currently. Lynn was great in the first half. Now he is fading.
Mr. Joe, do you have any moves of your own or are you just going to base your strategy on players I waive? Hahaha.

Haha, i really did get a nice laugh out of this. Hopefully Middlebrooks has a solid second half since it's no telling when Longoria is going to be back and I have doubts if Encarnacion can play as well as he has in the 1st half. As for Lynn I think he will be better than Samardzija, who has been up and down.
I do appreciate your skills in fantasy baseball, you are the defending champ, two times in a row if i'm not mistaken. So I may just grab every player you discard, that way it will be like you are playing against yourself so you can know how the rest of us feel when playing you :p.
In all seriousness there are 5/6 really solid teams this year, and a 7th team that is 6-7, it should be a race to the finish. I wish the other teams had owners who cared it would be alot more fun but the ones who do care are having pretty good seasons.
