Three spots left and going quickly.
I am in id is phillies014
It looks like all the former players who wanted in have joined. Thus, the last two slots are open to the field. Just one coveted spot left!
Tonight is the night - 8:30 PM EST sharp. Good luck everyone.
Since I'll be just a few seats from the Bruins bench tonight when the draft is happening, I've got my queue up and ready to go. Here's to a good draft!
Since I'll be just a few seats from the Bruins bench tonight when the draft is happening, I've got my queue up and ready to go. Here's to a good draft!
I hope you are enjoying the game! The draft kicks off in less than 7 minutes...
Missed the draft because I got stuck at work and I forgot to rank players so i'm off to a great start. I LOVE the pitching i got but my position players are pretty poor but I will make the best of it.
I thought there was 20 rounds, but then somehow ended up with Ryan Howard - so I guess there were 21. Not bad for a random flyer who might pan out in a few months (if I have the patience to keep him riding the pine.) I drafted just like I did last year - all bat. Once I get the correct eligibility to swap a few players around after 10 games and a few injuries clear up, I should be ready to start molding a pitching staff to another championship run!
I thought it was only 20 rounds too. I am happy with my team good luck all
I'm pretty happy with my draft but I'm definitely looking forward to making some trades!
so bummed I missed the draft, and my team is horrid. Not going to be a good season for me.
I am always up for trades, and can't wait for the season to start.
so bummed I missed the draft, and my team is horrid. Not going to be a good season for me.
Don't get too bummed. While the draft is important, with fantasy baseball any team can be salvaged and thrive. Also, there are really no bad drafts being we are a 10 team league pulling from all 30 teams. There is plenty of undiscovered talent that sits undrafted. In the three previous years of Vevmo League, I have been to the finale three times (winning twice) and I am yet to have a team that was 50% or more drafted during the final week. Last season my #1 and #3 picks (Hanley Ramirez and Youkilis) were benched the majority of the season, including in the championship game. Fantasy baseball is about continuing participation, smart trades and the ability to recognize value on the waiver wire to bolster your roster. Not who you have on day one.
Baseball! Ho boy, only 10 days left! I can hardly wait... good luck everyone!
You are so right Bacchus, with how long the baseball season is anything can happen as long as you keep on top of your team.
The season is underway! Best of luck to everyone!
am I missed something? How the heck do I look at free agents?
am I missed something? How the heck do I look at free agents?
There are a variety of ways to look for free agents under the players menu.

Starting the season just where I want to be...on top.
I'm looking to trade for a pitcher or two. Anyone interested in trading?
OK, I need to know who Texas Cocaine University is.
I'm looking to trade for a pitcher or two. Anyone interested in trading?
I don't have any pitchers anyone would want, or I would. Who needs pitching anyway? p.s. I might be willing to trade this guy - - for your whole team. :wink2:
OK, I need to know who Texas Cocaine University is.
That would be afuNk13.
The Dream Boats are starting strong!!
I'm looking to trade for a pitcher or two. Anyone interested in trading?
I have Cain, Haren, Price, Verlander, Moore, Bumgarner so I would be open to moving one or maybe two of them. Obviously it will take more to get Price or Verlander but I do need a couple solid bats so make me an offer. Team name is bazooka joe
Tough week for the Sarks although maybe a bit tougher on the Dream Team even with their apparent victory. Remember that guy I told you not to draft early? Ouch.
