If they have to repeat another elimination round I hope it's X Battle between CT and Mark
Camilla going insane next week? Hmm I wonder why
You are right there. Robin did vote to send Johnny home, but I guess he just has more aggression towards Rachel...
The most vocal person (or maybe the brains of the operation) usually gets the blame it seems.
That's what most people complain they don't get enough of, so I'm going to assume that people are enjoying the old school feel of things.
I loved it. The episode was boring until that little twist of the "did she or did she not" situation with Rachel and Mark. So glad Rachel and Aneesa won and came back. No offense to Tyrie, but this is more interesting for the show in terms of plot, and I go way back with Rachel & Aneesa. Jasmine and CM looked like little girls up in grown people's business when watching CT and Diem!
Did anyone notice that during Rachel's last interview a Robin with Mark splash appeared instead of the correct one?
Just when I thought Johnny was becoming tolerable, he goes and rehashes stuff from The Island. What the ****. Did he really expect Rachel to keep him, a guy she'd never done a show with, on The Island over Abram, who she'd done several prior challenges (and had a threesome!) with? Count me among those who think Camila is lying about Rachel. I think Rachel and Mark go way too far back and I doubt she'd sandbag him. Purely based on strategy, trying to get rid of Rachel and Aneesa was a dumb move on Johnny's part. Wouldn't he want to have Aneesa around as long as he can? I doubt she'd be able to keep up in a final. I like Aneesa, but I saw The Duel II. Definitely was pulling for them though...I too like the old-school feel of this Challenge.
If they have to repeat another elimination round I hope it's X Battle between CT and Mark
I wish they came up with different eliminations every round, hate when they back to the same ones they just did like they couldnt figure out any other eliminations.
Camilla going insane next week? Hmm I wonder why
Scheme. Camilla and Johnny want the target off their backs and want the rest of the house to think they are a trainwreck. ;) (fiction)
Did anyone notice that during Rachel's last interview a Robin with Mark splash appeared instead of the correct one?
I didn't see it the first time around, but I backed it up and you are correct.

So he was thinking from a different strategic standpoint. John was obnoxious to me because he was trying to make it seem like he'd been done so wrong and that was justification to vote them in. Like he was so hurt that Rachel so called shaded Mark he had to punish her. Whatever dude. Go somewhere with that. I didn't think there was anything wrong with Rachel giving John a piece of her mind. She wasn't looking to change his mind when she was already voted in, she was just speaking up for herself. So I was annoyed when CM made that comment. Rachel wasn't throwing a fit about going in. If they lied on her, she had a right to say something.
Camila seconds..... :sarcastic_hand:
I'm sure I don't speak for just myself, but I could name at least 10 more girls that would beat Camila in a heartbeat. To each their own. She is a great competitor, but her height would give her a disadvantage in most things.
She outperformed Tori, who is much taller, in almost every challenge on cutthroat. Who are these ten women whose height makes them better players. There are many activities where a lower center of gravity can be a useful attribute. Try telling Lionel Messi(soccer) Daren Sproles(football) Justine Henin(tennis) Jeanette Evans(swimming) or Dustin Pedroia(baseball) that they don't have the size to compete. Swimming is a sport where length really helps, yet Camilla swam as fast as Johnny during their first heat. Technique and fitness can make up for lack or size. Camilla showed that this episode, and she has shown that in the past when she did well in events on other challenges. EV isn't tall either. How many times has she beaten bigger players. Wake up and watch the actual competitions, instead of judging players based on their looks

Not that she would lost to them because of her size. For example, Ev would kick her ***, as would a Susie, who is not that much bigger.
Ty is a pretty fast swimmer, he dusted Emily who may just be really slow.
Wake up and watch the actual competitions, instead of judging players based on their looks
No need to tell another member to "wake up", especially a moderator. You make good points, but simply saying that players should not be judged on looks alone would have sufficed.

That's just one thing that would give multiple people that are also good competitors as much as she is an advantage. I didn't say it was a major advantage. I do watch the actual competitions and I'm not just judging her on her looks either. Just stating what I take from watching the show.

Why is it a given Susie would beat Camilla? Did you just watch the episode where Camilla swam as fast as johnny??? I give up.
Okay thoughts on this episode, this reminded me of the kind of episode from older challenges, maybe it had to do with Robin crying and Rachel being in the middle of drama. Jasmine for her TINY size is actually pretty good, I think. She's got heart. She's better than some of the girls who have been on the show who are much bigger than her (Brooke, Shauvon, Colie) Anyway, I'm going to take Rachel's side on this one because I truly don't believe she was trying to throw Mark under the bus. I think they were just probably casually talking about the teams and the partners and were talking about how crazy Robin is. Everyone talks about how crazy Robin is. Johnny and Camila were just looking for a reason to put them in and that just helped them in addition to him holding a grudge from the Island. But notice how at the elimination announcements Camila repeated what Rachel said about Robin, but she didn't repeat what she claims Rachel said about Mark. Hmm...I think Camila is the sneaky one here.
Okay guys, if we want to talk about who's the better competitor we shouldn't be doing it in this thread. Especially if you're including people that aren't even in this challenge.
If CT and Laurel were paired on this challenge I dont think theyd lose anything. Theyd kill every elimination round I've seen so far as well
in fantasy match ups assumption are key. thats what makes them fantasy. I suppose Camila would have a good shot at out swimming Susie in an elimination. She would also probably beat her in a Spanish speaking challenge and a wearing cut hoods challenge. Better?
oh, and I was also impressed with Jasmine. I also liked how she handled the loss. Its a nice surprise when people are classy in their elimination speeches.

I'm glad all the veterans were getting more screen time, and this entire episode I couldn't help but keep noticing and thinking about how GORGEOUS I think Aneesa is looking this time around. I'm usually not even finding her that attractive but she just keeps looking so good, especially in all her interviews, I'm loving it haha. She also has won an amazing amound of elimination rounds in her challenge history, I can't picture too many people have been in many more than she has been in her reality TV career. Camilla is a great PARTNER, and that may be the extent of it. I have no doubt that she can carry herself with an awesome partner and has enough endurance or stamina to keep up, but it would be a whole different story if this was Duel 3. If this was an individual competition, and the eliminations were anything at all physical, she would easily be beat by Rachel, Jodi, Ev, Laurel, Aneesa, Brittni, etc, and questionably people like Cara Maria, Tori, Diem, Paula etc depending on the elimination round. Side note: I enjoy watching them go out and party and enjoy the nightlife, and have crazy parties in the house like the animal party so much more than watching the petty drama and them bickering about who should go in, etc, the politics of it

Rachel vs. Johnny is almost the ultimate generational match up. Only Coral would be a more exciting event.
Also I'm glad Cara Maria apologized for her harsh statement about Rachel and Anessa's statements after being sent in. I usually hate when it sounds like people are pleading out there. But in this situation, it wasn't Rachel and Anessa acting scared. This was Rachel defending her character because it got attacked. She's a smart and strong woman and I knew she would say something after Camila's claims, so I was hoping it wouldn't be edited out of the show. I'm glad it stayed.
The funny thing is, although they are from different challenge "eras," Rachel and John are the same age (or no more than a year apart, I think).
Also I'm glad Cara Maria apologized for her harsh statement about Rachel and Anessa's statements after being sent in.
Oh, she did? Good, because it seemed she didn't know what she was talking about. Besides, TJ was leaving them an opening to say something. Some of these newer generational challenge girls like CM could learn a thing or two from someone like Rachel when it comes to dealing with some of the guys on the challenges, IMO. On another note, I think this is the best Robin has ever looked. Even though it has been several years now since she first appeared, I think she looks just as young, or even younger, than she did in the past. And I think she looks better than the other girls there even though she has a minimalistic look when it comes to makeup, hairdos, and the style of clothing she wears. And when people I am used of seeing with blonde hair go dark, usually it sort of ages them to me.
The funny thing is, although they are from different challenge "eras," Rachel and John are the same age (or no more than a year apart, I think).
Not even a month apart: Johnny: 6/22/82 Rachel: 7/19/82
Rachel is too beastly. Tyrie goes home again but he did better this time than ever so good for him for improving his game.
Not even a month apart: Johnny: 6/22/82 Rachel: 7/19/82
Thanks. I didn't know the exact months, but I knew it was close because I knew Abram and Derrick and Rachel were about the same age.
