Tyrie: Thanx and Clarifications
Hi, This is Tyrie B from Battle of the Exes. Yes its me, no bull. Im not going to lie.... I try to stay away from this site, if not for any other reason, u guys are pretty ruthless towards me and are very "fan favorite" orientated. But I did want to take the time to come in and say THANK YOU. Im not sure if it was "V1", Dave, or someone else "in power" who reached out to me with condolences over the last few days, but I really do appreciate that. I am very family orientated, and my grandmother was in the hospital DURING the filming of the show. U guys didnt owe me ANYTHING, nor did u have to care, but someone took a lil time jus to say.... "Im sorry for your loss" Its a small, but VERY appreciated gesture. Finally a quick clarification.... Im from Nebraska, I played football. I NEVER LIED AND SAID I PLAY FOR UNL. That would be a slap in the face to any and ALL of my friends and family members that has represented the Huskers. Im a *******, but but im not some fake *** who needs to lie to be cool, especially to someone I severely dislike ie Kenny. I acknowledge I lost that match for my team based on my conditioning, which is a part of the reasons I made the changes I did. Take it easy folks
Sorry to hear that and thanks for leaving a message here. Would be nice to hear more from an insider.
Hi Tyrie, I'm sorry for your loss as well. Being apart of "Husker Nation" as well, I knew Kenny was BS-ing and trying to make you look bad. Best wishes and GBR!

Tyrie My twitter outreach to you about your grandmother had nothing to do with this site, it was purely personal, and I'm just a regular member here. My days of being a mod here ended several years ago (the RW: DC season) when I ended my connection with MTV and Bunim Murray. This site has always had people taking sides for and against cast members, nearly always only informed by the MTV edit. But some of us try to bring fact and reason to the discussion, and over time, I hope the people who pass through here are smarter about reality TV. There is a extra benefit for reality "stars" who are members here. You can't be insulted by other members. It's a privilege of membership. As for the site "fan favorites," if you are here long enough, you'll come to recognize that those who blindly follow the edited show favorites (usually the bullies) don't really get respect. BTW, the mother of a certain Denver cast member is going to be delighted to see you here.

Its good to see there are more "informed" people on here also. By the way HI MOM. :)
Tyrie, you become a fan favorite by posting here! Ok, maybe not but it is good to hear your thoughts, straight up. Clarifications are good. Mom's are good too! ;)
Tyrie, don't let the haters get you down. I thought you did an admirable job of dealing with your crazy roommates on the Denver season. The loudest, most insufferable, and obnoxious people like Kenny seem to have the most fans. It makes no sense.
aw this was a sweet little post. You are a cool dude, Tyrie :)
Don't let the Little Jimmys of Vevmo get to you, that way you won't get got by the conspiracy
You never quit, you always tried your hardest, you never backstabbed, and you always had your priorities in line from my viewpoint. You also lost a **** ton of weight, which isn't easy for anyone. Hope to see you do well on Exes and in the future.

I'm personally a fan of Kenny but definitely don't ever root against you because of it (I save that for Wes), and am looking forward to watching you in this because of the changes you made. This may not be the place for this question but did they ever explain to you why Jasmine was allowed to hit you and didn't get in any trouble for it? Clearly it wasn't something that hurt you...but I don't think Ty was too bothered by Adam's "punch" and he got sent home. Seems like they're ok if girls hit guys. I doubt you wanted her to get sent home since you'd be gone too..but it seems messed up that they let it go.
Sorry for your loss. Of course people are going to talk, people see this as an entertainment tv show and it's often hard to separate the real people from the characters we watch and enjoy. Anyway, I am rooting for you on this season as I got excited to hear that you were getting in the best shape of your life to compete. I too am embarking on a fitness journey so seeing your success and the success of others has helped to inspire me some more. looks like you got a lot of positives going on in your life right now and that's great, keep it up and enjoy it man, I aim to do the same.
Oh... one more clarification.... and im sorry to be that petty...... but me and jasmine KILLED wes and mandi on that honey challenge.... It wasnt even close. Me and Jasmine was running for second before Johnny and Camila came up. We were ahead of Mark and Robin. But according to the scene and the audio, and the angle of the of the camera at the final measurements, wes and mandi won.... whioch I dont understand y they would do that.
I think you're hilarious. I laughed my *** off at your asscapade.
Tyrie, I think you're funny as ****.
I always liked Tyrie as well, no joke. "Rockstar! Whoooo! Yeah!" Sorry to hear about your grandmother though.

It can't be helped sometimes though with people getting caught up in the technical bull**** or explaining details or edit this and edit that nonsense we don't necessarily give a dime to care about. Won't say any names but they know who they are. I mean it's television.
I have to agree with my parenter Tyrie we did better than a lot of teams on the honey challenge. I did know he was going threw a issue with his grandma in the hospital and I am once again sorry for his loss. We were both going threw family situations before we left wihich we both discussed with each other in the DR and chose not to put it out on camera. I think with both of us dealing with situations we could not control at home had a huge impact on how we treated each other out there in the DR. I will not be discussing my family situation until a later date. I can say though that things are a lot better and I thank GOD for that. I know people might not like my behavior and that is fine with me, everyone is entitled to there opinon. But I will say you guys have no idea what we deal with on the challenges and in every day life as well, I still have mad luv for this vevmo and everyone on here! Thanks Jasmine
I know I may have been critical of you Jasmine, but I have you know I in no way shape or form despise you. I do however agree that it must be tough on these challenges, your original season and real life as well. I also hope everything works out for not just Tyrie but you as well.
Thank you to you both, Tyrie and Jasmine, for reaching out to us and for the clarification. Tyrie, happy thoughts and prayers headed your way for the loss of your Grandmother. She was obviously someone you loved dearly and I'm sure she's still very proud of all you've accomplished.
