Blasphemy, Coral looks fantastic. And I liked her appearance on the reunion for G3.
Almost nothing stays the same, including her past distancing herself from MTV. She's been tweeting and replying to some current and former cast members as well as an MTV producer. I expect that she's heard that Duel 3 will be the summer challenge. She's probably also heard that the pay is better now, although she technically is still a rookie.
I would love to see Svetlana on the next challenge! I think she said on her twitter that she was asked to do the current challenge. Maybe it was an availability call because she hasn't hooked up with anyone.
If anyone is interested, rrrwchallengefans.tumblr.com is having an interview with Coral so if anyone wants, just go to their ask box and submit a question. Their ask box doesn't accept any anonymous questions so I'm pretty sure you have to sign up to ask. But all you need is an email, random url, and pasword. It literally takes 30 seconds.

I'm sooooo happy both Svetlana & Coral are back in some way! LOL I LOVE them! I hope both would consider at least one more challenge!
Derek from RR-VR is on the same site that Willie from RW-Philly is on.

I noticed that Andrew Woods from DC has not tweeted in awhile. Anybody know if something is up with him or if he just gave up on the whole twitter/celebrity game?

Carlos 'Los' Jackson, from Road Rules season 1, works as a photographer for feature films, residing in the Greater Los Angeles area, as does co-roadies Kit (Hoover) Sullivan, now married and co-host of Access Magazine, and Mark Long who continues to appear on the 'Challenges'
Looks like congratulations are in order for one former challenger:
I know it's pretty much common knowledge now, but Svetlana has stated clearly on twitter that she wouldn't do another challenge. I searched the forum and couldn't find a "retired list". Besides Miz, Svetlana, Theo, Beth, Tina and Eric, has anyone else implicitly stated they're done for good? Anyone got a list?

She keeps in contact with BMP and might return under the right conditions.
Forgot about Brad/Torri. Evelyn is soooo full of ****, and I bet Jenn will be back too.
Forgot about Brad/Torri. Evelyn is soooo full of ****, and I bet Jenn will be back too.
Care to share what you have such an opinion regarding Evelyn?

I searched the forum and couldn't find a "retired list". Besides Miz, Svetlana, Theo, Beth, Tina and Eric, has anyone else implicitly stated they're done for good? Anyone got a list?
Well, Zach Mann, Jenn, Brad, Tori, Evelyn, Theo, Timmy, Tina, Tonya, Kina, Beth, Susie, Alton and Arissa are people that we I'm 95% sure we will not see again because either they said they retired, have children, have legal issues involving bmp or have just moved on.
Svetlana has recently expressed interest in doing the next challenge. Beth was contacted regarding Exes. She keeps in contact with BMP and might return under the right conditions.
Where did Svetlana say that? She wrote on twitter a couple days ago: “@LAXSvet: Nope, How's Ms. Piggy? RT @KermitThaPimp : @LAXSvet would you ever consider going back on the challenges if they asked you?”
Care to share what you have such an opinion regarding Evelyn?
Go to her formspring and read through her posts. She's clearly obsessed with her self image on the challenge, and is not even in her late 20's. She also said she'd never do another challenge that wasn't the duel after fm2, give me a ******* break. Also I forgot about Tonya. She's never coming back. Pretty sure Adam R., and Emilee will never be asked back also.
I've very aware of all that she has written. I've also interviewed her twice for vevmo. She has had long periods of angst regarding doing the challenges. Rather than having an obsession with her self-image, she has an obsession, in my opinion, with truth. Her most recent Formspring postings reflect exactly that as a response to the absurdity and drivel coming out of Derrick's podcasts. Aside from that however, her decision to move on from the challenges in driven by outside factors liking finishing her undergraduate degree and pursuing a more immediate work goal in LA. Longer term, there is law school, since she comes from a family of very successful attorneys. In short, MTV doesn't define her. With the exception of FM2 where she had already turned down the invite before agreeing to be a beyond-last-minute replacement, her decision to participate in each challenge has been very carefully considered. Each one fit into her life at the time the invitation was offered. Today, she has a different agenda. She is not one of the challenge regulars who has no real profession or apparent real objective in life other than to do as many bar gigs as possible before no one remembers who they are. If BMP could change the minds of the decision-makers at MTV, they certainly would want Adam back. Their casting people supported him fully.
Whatever man, we'll see who's right when she's castes for gain in 2 challenges.
Whatever man, we'll see who's right when she's castes for gain in 2 challenges.
You're arguing with someone who is friends with Evelyn in real life and has worked in tv before (and still?). You can not win in this situation. Could Evelyn's opinion of coming back change? It's possible, but as of right now, she's done for good.
You're arguing with someone who is friends with Evelyn in real life and has worked in tv before (and still?). You can not win in this situation. Could Evelyn's opinion of coming back change? It's possible, but as of right now, she's done for good.
Still. We'll be in LA next week shooting the 2nd half of a pilot (Scripted), but I've promised myself this is the last year. I want to ski Colorado for a few years before I turn into dust. It's not about winning. It's about have an informed opinion supported by some evidence, or about having some empirical data (like private conversations) upon which to base one's statement. He/she is new. New happens. Sometimes it's fun. Sometimes they're just clones of past haters. Sometimes they arrive like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes it's just an appendage of a certain group that loves all things JEK. Time will tell, and Zeus usually knows before the rest of us.
In a strange coincidence, MTV.com put an article up about this very topic of Ev retiring today: 5 Challengers Who Lied About Retiring The guy who wrote this blog is convinced that she's not done.

Just about the first thing one learns in Journalism 101 is to get a comment from the person you're writing about. The article really is nothing more than a little quick PR for MTV at Evelyn's expense. She responded to the article briefly on Twitter. [On a personal note, I would like to see her do the summer challenge, if it is approved, which I believe will be Duel 3;, but, she's made it very clear to me that she has another goal she has been working hard recently to pursue. Given her normal training regimen before the challenges, I don't see how she can finish school, work on her other goal and train successfully before early summer. Sometimes real life just gets in the way.]
Hey all! I'm new to these forums, and found them while doing a search on google. This thread is giant and would take me forever and a day to look through it all, so I wanted to ask about two cast members if you don't mind; I've been watching The Gauntlet 2 (been buying old seasons on iTunes!) and was wondering if Cara and Jeremy from RR South Pacific have ever stated that they were done with the challenges, or if they just weren't ever asked back. I loved both of them, and haven't seen them in around 10 seasons, so I know the chances are slim to none, but figured it wouldn't hurt asking.
Cara had a baby a few months back so I believe she moved on but she was interested in doing Challenges up until The Ruins I believe.
Cara had a baby a few months back so I believe she moved on but she was interested in doing Challenges up until The Ruins I believe.
As for Jeremy he got married last I heard. No seriously all jokes aside.
It looks like Shavonda from RW Philadelphia is having a baby girl. I'm so proud of her and her videos now though I was critical of them at first.
