I've been a fan of Project Runway since Season 1, so the concept of them having an All-Star season sounded fantastic. I consider it one of my guilty pleasure shows. The only downside I'm seeing so far is the host is so boring. Of course she's hot and a supermodel, but she's no Heidi Klum. The judges are great though. I'm a big Isaac Mizrahi fan. I do like all the people they have for this season and it seems that every season is represented except for Season 3 and the newest, Season 9. It's definitely the right people I feel and for once an All-Star season of something got it right. I don't really dislike any of the designers except for a small handful (Mila and Elisa). I'm rooting for Rami, Kenley, Sweet P, Mondo, Kara, and Austin. There are just too many likable designers. Should be a great season.
Can't have an all-star season without Uli!! And please Rami, no more Grecian draping. Please tell me you have gotten over that.

And if you missed the first episode, Rami didn't drape during the challenge. I thought it was a miracle. Although having to buy things from the 99 cent store might have been a draping roadblock.
I must admit that Project Runway has not been on my good side recently. After the loss of Mondo to Gretchen and the absolute waste of last season, I was ready to just ignore the franchise completely and only watch reruns to remember the good old days. I even took my Tim Gunn bobble head down in my car because it made me too sad. But here they go, pulling me back in again with some of my favorites. And I won't even have to deal with the judges this time who have been ******* me off lately and making no sense most of the time. I won't miss any of them, except for Tim of course. Austin and Mondo are my absolute favorites among the bunch with Rami and Kara being close behind. You are rooting for Kenley, fab? I think we need to have a talk. Uli is also a big favorite of mine and I wish she was on the show too. She could show Anya a thing or two about making interesting resort wear and how to really work a print! I did not agree with the elimination tonight, though. Sweet P should have gone home. It was just an embarrassment on both a technical and a design level. I love her but that was bad.

I just like her style sometimes. With a huge emphasis on sometimes. I think it's the color palette she uses. She's at the bottom of my list of people to root for though if that makes you feel better ;) And Anya, I must say this somewhere, is a joke of a Project Runway winner in my opinion. I watched last season, despite it being horrible, and I must say was more disappointed this time around than the time Irina won whatever season she did (6, I think). I do agree. They definitely had the three in the bottom that deserved to be there. Sweet P's dress, if you can call it that, was ugly. Elisa's shower curtain was confusing. I can see why they eliminated her, because I think I could have made that shower curtain and spandex (whatever she used) in half the time. It was a complete toss up, but do people really remember Elisa. I only remembered her when they said she spit on clothes... PS: I miss Tim as well.
Didn't know this started already. I would like to see it, but sad to hear Tim and Heidi are not in this one. I wish Carrol-Hannah(sp?) was on this though, I really liked her. Two winners I absolutely despised were Gretchen and Irina, so it's nice to see Mondo at least.
Tried to watch, but without Heidi and especially without Tim, the show does nothing for me. Thanks, Lifetime, for giving me time to watch good scripted programming at 10 PM.
