Definitely don't think it's a joke now. CBS Confirms Ashton Kutcher Will Join 'Two and a Half Men' - Yahoo! TV Blog

Meanwhile, two stories back...
TMZ has spoken with sources on set for last night's taping of the premiere. Now, we don't want to be d***** bags and give it all away -- so we'll just say that in one brilliantly written scene, the producers make sure there's absolutely no way for 'Charlie Harper' to return to the show in the future.
Don't worry, they'll delete that part quick enough, lol.
I love this show, I have the first 7 seasons on dvd, and I really think it is somewhat underappreciated( even though it kills in ratings, it seems enough people bad mouth it. Sad about Charlie, that character was great. I hpe Ashton fits in well, I'm curious to see how this is done, and if this show will survive. I have confidence that Lorre will make it work though.
Charlie carried the show, no doubt about it. But I'll watch with Ashton, he is a good actor.

It'll be more interesting to see what the numbers are next week.

Did anyone here watch? I think Ashton was very good. The scene he first shows up in was amazing. I spit my soda out all over myself. lol

I hadn't seen Two and Half Men in a few years, so I decided to give it another go. As much as I love Ashton Kutcher, I just can't seem to get over his Jesus look. Other than that, the episode was quite good, but I don't know if it's going to be something I watch every week.

I think the show will be good as long as I don't expect it to be what it was before, with Charlie Sheen. It will never be the same Two and a Half Men but it can be a different, equally as good, Two and a Half Men.
Only seen the show few times before, never thought it was funny but decided to give it a watch as Ashton Kutcher is one of my favorite actors. He did terrible! He's playing almost the same character as he did on that 70s Show, but he looked like he was reading off of cue cards in last nights episode. I hope he's just rusty for not being on a TV show in a while and I hope his talent shines through because last night was hard to watch.
I happen to like the Ashton Kutcher character. It seems that he has shifted to the 1/2 man while Alan and Jake are now the 2 men. One of my favorite moments so far is the food fight he got into with that little girl! I wish he hadn't had sex with Evelyn, though. I was hoping that later on, it would be revealed that Walden is actually a half brother to Charlie and Alan who was born while the two of them were away at boarding school since the age difference would be just right.

Jones: 'Stop watching 'Two and a Half Men"
"If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Please.”

Angus, who’s reportedly paid $300,000 per episode, goes on to advise viewers to “do some research on the effect of television on your brain,” and apparently compares TV — if not Two and a Half Men itself — to Satan. “A lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is,” he says. “He’s been doing this for a lot longer than any of us have been around. There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity.”

In the video, Jones says he discovered Hudson through his ForeRunner Chronicles video series -- in which Hudson spouts off about a variety of topics ... including: -- Why he believes Jay-Z is a Freemason with ties to the devil -- How Obama's pro-gay agenda has similarities to Hitler -- How the NYC gas crisis can lead to cannibalism
Angus T. I love this show but if they fire him because of this video then CBS is a *****. I hate how they have Ashton Kutcher on it anyway. He's better doing his own thing not playing second fiddle.
Seriously? That's not even possible. lol
Unless he's acrobatic, Quagmire or hits it a certain way a little bit at a time, lmao.

That said, CBS has every right to fire him if he broke his contract by espousing these views. I guess we will see how it plays out in the coming days. Honestly, I think a break in a nice quiet setting with the appropriate medical supervision might be good for Jones...
