Cut Throat - Emily Schromm
She did? I hardly remember her. I have to agree with the other person, she won two eliminations rounds but against Melinda (weak physically) & Paula (weak mentally) but you guys have to remember both of those gulags were physical, she was TALLER than both of them so she had a big advantage over both of them just like Laurel/Cara Maria did on Jonna/Jasmine on rivals. Then, on the overall challenges she didn't do anything to standout on her team, like Laurel did. Then on the finals I was expecting her to do a Kelly Anne & Sarah move, but they didn't. I think Jenn was even doing better than her. So I would agree she hasn't proved herself, she wasn't kicking *** on Cutthroat and people over rate her just like they do with Camila.
Emily is a strong competitor regardless. Even though she wasn't facing impressive female competitors, she still showed off her strengths. She is stronger than Kellyanne i think, but not stronger than Laural or Ev though.
Sorry, but do you mean prove the people overrating her wrong or the doubters wrong?
The doubters.
I don't consider anyone to be amazing when they've only done one challenge. If she does another one and does well, I'll consider her to be pretty good but until then, I don't see her as one of the best girls.

I don't think she is stronger than Kelly Anne, Laurel and Ev. She hasn't done anything to prove that she is a really strong competitor like everyone and herself think she is, she just has the advantage of being taller than many of these girls. She beat Melinda, a weak competitor, and Paula, not a really a strong competitor. But I would like to see her again and actually prove that she can KICK some *** this time around.

Emily beat out Paula.
Emily beat out Paula.
Paula was an emotional train wreck in Cutthroat and in her elimination round.
What boggles my mind is that people are still claiming Paula is a weak competitor. We are talking about the same Paula who just won Rivals, right? I'm pretty sure Evelyn didn't do that all on her own... even ask Evelyn. And come to think of it -- Evelyn is VERY picky when it comes to her partner on these shows (rightfully so). I think it means something when Evelyn says Paula is the best partner she's had and wouldn't want a different female partner in the future. Emily beating Paula is a great accomplishment - especially since Paula is a strong veteran and Emily was just a rookie. I agree that Emily is not as strong as Laurel and Evelyn (who is?) but give the girl some credit where it's due. She beat a tough competitor in Paula.

Jokingly or not, that doesn't show strength. Emily beat Paula because her mind wasn't in the right place at the time and because she's much bigger than Paula.
KellyAnne beat Rachel, Veronica and Robin fair and square...who did Emily beat?
She beat Rachel, but Rachel is not mentally strong(and that event was more mental than physical). She beat Veronica, but Veronica was well past her prime and hadn't appeared on a challenge in over four years. She beat Robin.......Robin SUCKS! Sizing up what i've seen from Emily and KellyAnne.... there is no doubt in my mind Emily is stronger.
What does that have to do with anything?
A lot. Rookies are usually the first to be targeted and usually are sent home early. The fact that not only did Emily make it to the final mission (and only one other person on her team joined her) but also she beat a strong veteran in Paula along the way, is quite an accomplishment for her first challenge. It was a nice statement to the veterans saying, "See, Rookies can do it too."

Several people have gone to the end on their very 1st challenge(and some of them have won their 1st too). And yes Rookies do get targeted 1st but I don't think that makes them weak competitors. Oh and Paula isn't strong. I know she just won a challenge but that doesn't make her a strong competitor. I mean KATIE has won a challenge and she's FAR from good.

The challenges used to be like "which team can transfer the most birdfeed from one tank to the other in one minute." There is absolutely NO WAY you can compare the final mission on The Inferno to the final Paula had to go through on Rivals. Absolutely no way that's even comparable.
Kellyanne is hotter
That's your opinion. Yeah Kellyanne is attractive, but Emily is the hottest RW female to me easily.

She's lucky she had Evelyn as a partner because I don't think would've won with anyone else. (Well Laurel Maybe). Oh and Emily <333333333 Please be on the next challenge.
When it comes to looks I'd take Emily over KellyAnne. Emily has more of a girl next door quality to her and that's what I dig.

I'm not saying Paula can't be beaten (she obviously WAS beat by Emily, duh). I'm arguing that Emily is a strong competitor - and beating Paula is a good win for her. Paula won the hardest final in the history of the show - by far - and yet you (and others) are saying she's weak. Makes no sense to me, but I digress. Obviously neither of us will be changing our minds on this.

Since Fresh Meat, we had Svetlana, Janelle, Tori, Brittini, Sarah, and Emily. In about 8 or 9 seasons, that's a pretty decent number for it to not be out of the ordinary.
Emily and Kellyanne are the two best females from RW at this point.

I'm not saying Emily is high and above the rest, I'm saying making it to the end on your first challenge is impressive (just as it was for those other girls listed). EDIT: And throwing out the term "it's not that difficult" is quite humorous to me. Ask anybody on the show how hard it is to make it to the end as the new kid.

I wasn't really trying to argue that. My thing is I just don't see what this Rookie/Veteran BS has to do with it.

And the Rookies are usually the odd men out so they end up getting targeted 1st. It's easier to target someone you don't know rather than someone your good friends with(especially if you want to win with them.)

In the past it was a lot more difficult than it is now because there was the rookie initiation of being thrown into every single elimination round. Now people start throwing in their weak players if it is a team challenge because they saw what happens when you have a weak player in the final challenge on the Gauntlet 3.
Debut Album - Exactly my point - meaning Emily making it to the end (especially when she's on a team with Johnny, Derrick, and Jenn) is impressive. And I didn't mean to argue with you - I thought you were agreeing with the others and saying Paula was an easy win for Emily.

I just stated that Paula was an emotional wreck during cutthroat and that the win wasn't as impressive as it would have been if it was against Rivals Paula.
Laurel is bigger than everyone - yet people still say she's one of the strongest girls, so I'm not sure I follow how your argument of Emily being bigger really takes away from her strength.
Emily didn't shine at all when it came to team challenges even though she is taller than all the girls there, she didn't do anything for me to be like "wow she is strong", she just won 2 elimination rounds against two weak girls (Melinda - physical weak, Paula - mentally weak, especially on the particular elimination round). On the other hand Laurel has shined since Fresh Meat 2, by winning challenges. If I don't remember wrong the gray team won like 2 team challanges thanks to her and Abe. And on the Rivals final she did amazing, especially on the first thing by being the last girl to let the tow rope go till she got to the kayak. Maybe my opinion toward Emily will change if she does another challenge and actually kicks ***, since we haven't seen much about her.
