Yea, I'd say they quit at the tent, and were slowly walking just to finish it but already packed it in. They were going to quit anyway. But they didn't officially quit. They just were saved the trouble

Mandi and Jenn had to have been smart enough to guess that they would have to go back if the campsite wasn't perfect.

I've slept outside in 0 degree weather...it's not fun. These people at least have a fire to sit around.
