He's not acting like it isn't about money. Identity theft and "brand" is all about money. He's telling you the "why" in the TMZ video.
In the TMZ video he specifically said he's not trying to make a quick buck, he's just trying to protect this house whole name brand lol
Yes, and he was at one of the restaurants where he knew paparazzi would wait for him. Or, in this case one paparazzo. Also, pure coincidence that he was wearing one of Kenny's suckyeah shirts.
They always wear those shirts.
You can think he's milking this. That's fine. It doesn't change the fact that he's absolutely right in what he's doing.

Where did I say anything remotely close to what you claim? Since Johnny doesn't live in Hollywood, I doubt he is out there every night. I doubt its coincidence that he went out the night he made a public announcement that would be posted on gossip sites. I also didn't say that he is not right about what he is doing.

I read your post to imply that this is a publicity stunt. Was I incorrect? If so, I apologize. There was great sarcasm in your post. (ie "pure coincidence"). That sort of thing usually gives off a negative vibe. Perhaps you could try a nicer, less biting approach next time.
It's ridiculous because he's not well known. It's not like he's "The Situation" or "Snooky", No one calls him Johnny Bananas on the show for the most part, it's just like people don't call Paula "Paula Walnuts". They call him "Johnny". The only reason i believe he's doing this is for attention and money, a publicity stunt. And that's my opinion.
MTV doesn't even use it often, it's just some name his buddies came up with when he got crazy. A nickname. Johnny | MTV Photo Gallery
But MTV does use it, at that, my friend, constitutes evidence useful in court.
I'd be happy to debate you regarding the merits of the collective total number of viewers who have seen Johnny vs any member of the Jersey Shore cast. My quick review of case law does not result in any court weighing the importance of ratings in a determination of trademark or identity ownership. I appreciate your perspective, but I'm probably much more comfortable with this topic from a professional standpoint.
Further, if it were a publicity stunt, it would violate his attorney's legal ethics to pursue a frivolous action. She is too well known in legal circles -- and charges too much -- for this to be what you suggest.

I didn't imply that the lawsuit is a publicity stunt. What I said is that I am pretty sure that he knew paparazzi would react to him. Why else would he go to a restaurant that always has paparazzi waiting outside? He wants publicity, but that doesn't mean that he is not serious about the lawsuit.
There is no need for your condescending words towards the end. Everybody is allowed to be sarcastic on this forum.

If I were still a moderator, I'd point out to you that it is amazingly unwise to lecture a moderator as you have her. In fact, if I were still a moderator, I'd be considering your long-term value to the site and make a rational decision accordingly. Of course, I'm not a moderator... but I did help train many of those who are. ;)
Not sure where to put this, but I think Johnny Banana's lawsuit story is a pretty pathetic attempt to get attention. If it works, I am going to sue Bass Pro Shops for everytime they use the name fish hooks.
