That was the most pathetic display of athletic ability I have ever seen on this show.
You must have never seen Ty on Cutthroat or Danny on Gauntlet 2.
CT vs Brad: The Duel on Vimeo
Ty's loss wasn't nearly as bad as Brad's loss. Ty won the first round and then 2nd won he fell down and never got up. Danny's was pretty **** funny too, especially that first one when Alton didn't even touch him and he went flying.
Dude, everyone can go beserk, it's just that CT has gone beserk on live TV. I'm sure Dunbar, Darell, Landon all can go beserk when ****** off and thus we will be having a totally different conversation. CT is strong, not denying it, but if he was "superman" as you put it, why did he take 40+ minutes to beat a gay guy in cutthroat's julag?
Miz is bigger than CT and it seems like that's what you're going on. Because if you are going on stamina, then Landon wins. Don't you remember inferno 2, the challenge before jodi and Veronica's inferno? Landon SMOKED CT, 35 feet compared to 26, and don't say "he didnt try hard because he just wanted the prize." Landon could have quit too, but he didn't. I'm sure I'm not the only one on this board who thinks there are other people stronger than CT, whether it be in Mark, Miz, Landon, Darell, or whoever.
this right here. CT isn't the only one that's capable of going beserk. I'm sure alot of people on these challenge can be scary to be around when they're **** off.
anyways, I'm still trying to with hold Darrell's and Landon's record in their respectable sport(boxing and wrestling. We can't just be making bald statements without backup now can we? *whistles anxiously*
Dude, this thread is about Ct bro. We aren't kissing his *** for the sake of being male groupies dude. There are a lot of parallels between him and myself;hence, I enjoy talking about him.
Econ, DaLeadBull is probably a JEK or Wes fan. The naysayers need to give credit where credit is due and give CT his props. It seems like a lot of people on here just give opinions on CT's abilities and don't have actual facts to back them up. Listen to Derrick's podcasts or any other podcast with a Challenge castmate. There's a lot of talk about CT and his abilities that they give answers to.
Ok wow what the ****?! Is everyone aware that he is on a tv show that isn't about beating people to death, it's not the UFC. Darrel and Landon do stand a chance against CT in a normal elimination round that they have on these shows, CT is not unbeatable and you people are making him sound like a psycho.
If you listen to Adam King's podcast with Scott Yager on his relationship with CT from the Real World Paris, Gauntlet 3, Duel 2, to Rivals, he explains a lot. He said when CT gets mad, there's a difference in him that you can see in his eyes. He said he gets a bloodlust and will kill someone. He said CT wanted to kill him on the Duel 2 after Adam made him bleed and Dunbar and Evan weren't able to get CT off of him.

On Derrick's podcast with Mark Long, Mark explained how long the fight between CT and Adam lasted long and how CT has a perfect blend of gym and crazy strength. He said CT punched through the doors with ease.

Tyler on Derrick's podcast stated that he dares anyone who thinks they're tough to go against CT for 2 minutes. Also said CT is one of the scariest guys on TV and would hate to get on his bad side on the street outside of the show.

Holy buckets, people are still talking about CT like he is an absolute juggernaut of destruction and physical domination. First off, as I recall from the podcast, the dude stated that he is not particularly appreciative of people giving him the beast/monster label. I can totally understand. It's probably hard to******** if you are a monster. Boogeyman never got laid. Second, the Challenge has never been, and never will be about who can beat the ever-loving-**** out of who. It is and always shall be (assuming it gets renewed) a competition that balances brains with athleticism.
People who I know, without a doubt, can beat CT in a fist fight, wrestling match, war or slap battle: Dwight Howard. James Harrison. Ndomakong Suh. The Muslim Warrior Prophet Muhammad. The Christian Pacifist Prophet Jesus ******. Dr. Manhattan of Watchmen. Sonic the Hedgehog. Bowser. Shaquille O'Neal. Jay and Silent Bob. Abraham Lincoln. Stephen Colbert. The Seventh Avatar of Vishnu, Rama. God and all his warrior angels. Satan and his creeps. Goro from Mortal Kombat. Ryu from Street Fighter. Wolverine. Pikachu's first evolution, Raichu. Goku from Dragonball. And, of course, Harry Potter.

I am incredibly thankful for this.
I never understood the controversy around CT's loss against Brad. I remember reading here somewhere that he didn't actually rip the flag? Then why did he lose and why did Wes, Jodi, and Aneesa react the way they did?

Supposedly, CT ripped the entire contraption out of the ground. This isn't necessarily ripping the flag off, but it also fell under the category of "You must unclip the flag." Most people who watched it say it's unfair, though on the flip side, CT got to pick whatever duel he wanted to do so it's pretty much his own fault.

True, CT isn't invincible. He's just a man and not a machine. He's not super tall or weigh tons. He is like the average height and weight of an athlete in rugby or any other sport. That isn't to say he's not a physical specimen. He just trains hard and with dedication.

Everybody on the reunion basically said that game was poorly put together and punished the person going for the flag.
The stronger person was almost punished for getting the flag because i guess it was a small ring that was attached and it could rip with ease. There was no way to know for certain after Beth's if it was poorly put together because it was only 1 dq, it wasn't a trend yet. Since he knew Brad "had no legs" , it was the perfect 1 on 1 for him because he had such an advantage. If the game was to get to the other person' flag, it was no contest. I don't see why you had to unclip it anyway. I love the idea of pushing that thing to the other side, but the rest of it was poorly put together and probably not tested very thoroughly. It seems with the person losing just shaking the pole, it is pretty hard to unclip a flag from a tiny ring. I mean if CT tore the ring and flag from the ground, how sturdy could that really be?
Overall an awful way to elminate arguably the strongest male/female competitor. It had such a stacked cast, it is a shame 2 had to leave because of a poorly put together game. CT/Wes final would have been awesome.

I guess the idea was to make it some kind of endurance thing so you could push your opponent far enough or drain them so they couldn't push you back instead of whoever weighs the most automatically wins.
I still say CT should have just picked I Can and said like 500 right off the bat.
Push me was built for CT's strengths needing endurance and leg strength to win. Just the flag thing made it less about ability and more about letting them try to get it and shake it. Which defeats the whole point to me.

Holy cow, I have never seen this level of fanboyism over a challenge cast member ever!
CT is a tough guy no doubt but saying that no one else from the show stands a chance is idiotic.
I am considerably smaller than CT but I think I can hang with him in a fight (we don't even know if he can actually fight, at least I don't). It's not all about size and I know this first hand. I've fought and competed against bigger guys my whole life. So, saying that CT would dominate the rest of the guys just cus he gets super ****** or is just simply bigger than someone is pretty stupid imo.

Landon only made it to state once in wrestling while in high school and he took like 5th or 7th place, and it was at a pretty low weight class. Darrell won Gold Gloves when he was a teenager going up against other kids but his boxing career tanked and never took off after he started doing these shows. He never came close to developing his skills to the point necessary to even become a journeyman fighter.
And trust me, there's a huge difference between the average person getting ticked off and somebody with CT's temper getting ticked off. Prime example being Darrell, who has a very short fuse compared to most of the other cast members. It took quite a bit to get him ticked off at both Wes and Brad and even when he did punch Brad, he was easily calmed down and walked out of the room on his own. People with CT's temperment are not like that. They go off at the smallest things and when they get angry to the point that they're physically assaulting other people, they are almost impossible to calm down. He was every bit as enraged at Adam and wanted to hurt him every bit as bad 45 minutes after Adam hit him with the beer can as he was the instant he punched him. Maintaining that level of anger and physical aggression for that kind of a sustained period is very, very rare... I would parallel it to when Mike Tyson snapped and bit Holyfield's ear and then went on a rampage for several minutes afterwards. That's the same kind of level of rage CT is capable of exhibiting when his fuse is lit. It's very much like the guys who get beat on with batons repeatedly when the cops are trying to subdue them and it's of little use... people like that practically need to be seriously, seriously injured or put down with a gun or a knife when they get that mad.
That's just the rage attack aspect... that's not even factoring in CT's size, physical strength, and ability to fight. A guy like him with all of those factors put together could literally mame people their own size once they get to that level of anger.

From your previous posts, I know you say you're CT's friend but are you trying to defend him or get him killed? You just said yourself that "people like that need to be put down with a gun or a knife when they get that mad". I hate to think what might happen if someone who's read your posts happens to see CT get mad some day; they might just take your advice and shoot or stab him. I'm a CT fan and like other people, I get that he's strong and has a temper but so far on Rivals, he's been cool, calm and collected other than that blow-up with Wes (which I have a feeling the two of them planned and maybe even rehearsed). I don't like what CT did on Inferno 3 or Duel 2 any more than the next person but it seems to me that he's trying to make some changes in his behavior. Hopefully everyone will let him do that.
Completely agree with you on that one, bud! Townie, it's obvious you care a great deal for Ct and he is your pal in real life; however, you have, and forgive me for stating such a thing, made him look like an enraged sociopath, much like Bane from the Batman comics. Please, tell us some funny, kind hearted, gentle tales of CT, instead of scaring us to death with your stories about his blood lust for violence
You know CT even said he's not some freak of nature and doesn't want to be called a monster, so it's not like you guys are doing him favors by saying how he's a complete lunatic when he's ****** and that he has the ability to kill. Even on the duel 2 after show he sounded like he regretted hitting Adam and was not proud of it. You're talking about how he has a temper that can last for hours as if it's a compliment. I am sorry Townie but when I was reading your post I was literally laughing my *** off, lol your police baton reference and saying CT needs to be injured like being stabbed or shot in order to be calmed down doesn't really compliment his character.
ahahaha... Blue123, I ******* love you, that baton reference is laugh out loud ******* hilarious! Townie is the ******* man, though! So, we'll forgive him his doings, for he not knows what he is doing!
I am getting absolutely tired of all this now. I'm sick of reading people argue over theoretical who would or would not beat CT in a fight. These arguments are repetitive, asinine, and tiresome.
I'm also getting tired of new members showing up around here, who clearly don't like CT and try to denounce him as a top-tier competitor by bringing up that he hasn't won a Challenge and acting like that is 100% his fault. That is a ridiculous inference to make. I suggest the newer people around here go back and read through older posts before making poorly-thought out arguments. And even castmembers like Kenny and Johnny bring this up like it's actually true. They try to make it out like CT doesn't win because he doesn't know how to play the game (and then on the same podcast legitimately can't believe that they all made it to the end on The Ruins together even though the teams and rules of the game blatantly favored them) We're not having this conversation if Real World figures out the puzzle on The Inferno, or Shavonda beats Tonya on Inferno II, or Big Easy passes out. Save for the two Challenges he got thrown off of, which yes was his own fault, he has been incredibly unlucky. People need to take the blinders off. I feel like CT's violent past clouds peoples' judgement. If you've watched the shows throughout the years, it's obvious that he's one of the best competitors. The fact that he hasn't won a Challenge doesn't take away from that. I feel like people around here just like to use it as an excuse. Bottom line, very rarely does a Challenge win come without any luck, and CT has been one of the unluckiest players that I can remember.
Fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice shame on me.
Didn't CT learn from Inferno 3 that punching someone would get him kicked off? I'm just saying. The guy is strong, but so is Miz, Landon, and Mark and they've all won challenges.
Bad luck can only go so far.

Two different, unrelated situations. CT himself admitted that he shouldn't have even gone to New Zealand to film The Duel 2, given his mental state at the time. I suggest watching The Duel 2 aftershow to hear his side of the story.
I am considerably smaller than CT but I think I can hang with him in a fight (we don't even know if he can actually fight, at least I don't).
If you don't know if he can fight, then what makes you think that you could hang with him? For all you know he could be a black belt.
...you have...made him look like an enraged sociopath, much like Bane from the Batman comics.
Actually, Bane in the comics is very methodical - being one of the only people who is more intelligent and calculating than Batman - and isn't a sociopath. Townie is making it seem like CT is more similar to The Incredible Hulk with him getting angry and such.
Point is, I think you might be taking all this "monster" talk a little too seriously, which is causing a clouded view of CT.
Getting back to Rivals, what did anyone think about CT wanting to be buddies with Adam? He asked Adam in episodes 4 and 5 if they're friends/buddies yet. He even said he wants Adam to say their friends, even if he has to beat it out of him. LOL
Whether people think CT is an ******* for beating up Adam, CT has apologized on more than one occasion. In the Duel 2 aftershow, he apologized to Adam and said he shouldn't have never been there, given his mental state. On the first episode of Rivals, he apologized again to Adam. He also stated to Laurel in a sneak peek to episode 6 of Rivals that he felt bad for beating up Adam.
It seems that CT is genuinely sorry for his actions against Adam on the Duel 2. Whether people believe it or not, they have no proof that he isn't sorry. It's Adam, I feel who needs to bury the hatchet and see that CT has changed. On Adam's blog, he states he still feels CT is violate and unpredictable.
CT asks Adam if they're buddies yet.

hosah, I too feel that CT is feeling remorseful about what he did and wishes he and Adam could be friends but I don't blame Adam for not wanting to be friends. CT left a physical and mental scar on him and he's probably afraid. Even if he has no real physical reason to be afraid anymore the damage was done. He just doesn't trust him and I don't blame him. That wasn't some normal fight. It was a one sided beat down and it's not something so simple to get over.

You are so right! it's incredibly hard, for a man, to be publicly humiliated, to just let go of that experience. CT ******* this guy out to a degree that even the most devoted and empathetic of men would think twice about talking to him. Look, whenever Adam and CT are talking, Adam always has his head down to avoid eye contact with him. I am beyond heartbroken by the scars Adam carries around with him because I had an incident like that happened to me and believe me I am still enraged by it. So, give him some time, one day, he'll pick up the phone and call CT to set things right.
