Sorry if that came off as insensitive... I watch the challenges but I have not been keeping up with behind the scenes stuff like that. Also, the LOL wasn't directed at his family's struggles, I was laughing about what Kenny said to him at the end of the episode.
Also, I always did like CT, from his days of "trimming the fat," to beasting in the Duel, to romancing Diem, to his Mike Tyson moment in Duel 2. He has been petty, angry, and violent at times but he as also been loyal and fearless, from stepping up for his boy David in the Inferno to calling out Kenny and Wes last night.
I, and many others I assume, are glad he got over the incident that happened and is feeling better now. He seems very cool to Adam in this episode, though I am afraid Adam is right. Once they start losing he could've get annoyed. In the first episode he seemed fine with losing to Leroy/Adam, atleast he clapped for them and didn't look mad at all. But that could be because they still pretty much crushed the competition as someone said a few posts earlier.
Of course as soon in the promos he'll still flip the switch, but that's against Wes so that doesn't matter. If the rumors are true that Wes talked **** to CT through Kelly Anne's email thats just a ***** move and he deserves to get his *** handed to him by CT, but outside the show so CT doesn't get "banned" again.
I don't think the tragedy that had befallen CT's family is any excuse for his behavior. He knew his mind state going into the Duel 2 and should have said no to going on the challenge knowing the environment he would be in. Look at how many fights CT has been in or almost been in Dan, Davis, Karamo, Adam K., Wes, Kenny, Frank and I'm sure there ate more.
IMO I think he changed from the mindset of controlling his emotions to not let it get to a point he can't go back from. He said on Duel 2 aftershow he doesn't want to be looking over his shoulder wondering if Adam will seek revenge and doesn't want to be that guy. He still has a temper i'm sure, can't lose that in a day, but he can harness it and not physically harm anyone because he is definetly capable of doing so. He said he can't continue what he is doing or he could be down the same tragic path. I fault him and Adam in the fight for their own parts, and each took responsibility it looks like which is great for them being around each other :)
As i said in a previous post, castmembers said he was a real cool/chill guy during the day and when not in a fight or trying to fight. Through his tragedy he probably went through a great deal, and a challenge doesn't seem as important in the grand scheme but he is looking at it as something fun and to let his competitiveness out. Competition is addicting!
He still has his competiveness and edge that makes him a great athlete. That still will lead to confrontations i'm sure, and from the looks of the previews, Wes is in for it!

He wouldn't fight all of them, he is probably just used to using his appearance/attitude as intimidation, which can work out very well in these challenges.

Yeah Kenny always goes around saying hes so beautiful, and this guy is ugly and she's fat bla bla. CT doesnt go around saying yeah I am gorgeous, most normal people dont. I was watching that season a few weeks ago until the videos stopped working, and it just looked like Adam was trying to get CT to calm down and then he just started the whole you dont got my back stuff, it seemed like thats how all their arguments start, CT freaks out at someone then Adam tries to calm him down and he flips out. Frank was right CT can act like a stupid animal sometimes, mostly when he's drunk, on RW Paris he got in an argument with a french dude and he hit the dude at twice even though the guy wasn't fighting back. I thought he was very interesting on RW though. He seemed sensitive but was a complete loose cannon at times too and the whole house hated him lol. He seemed like he desperately wanted the girls to like him. I kinda felt bad for him because they did seem to ***** at him for every little thing.
CT must be a beast this challenge, he is getting props from a lot of castmembers who are saying he is one of the best athletes, if not the best. Leroy/Cara M/Laurel/Adam K so far from what I have seen. Leroy hasn't been on one with him before Rivals, either has Laurel/Cara M if you don't count Cutthroat, so he must be pretty dominant.

CT was not shot in the back. His brother was murdered as a result of being shot (I believe more than once) close range with a shotgun. From the article I read about it, the details were pretty gruesome. And I believe that happened right before the Duel II, which is why CT didn't look so healthy, and why he was so upset right away.
Its Shocking he hasnt won, he seems to be the best competitor physically and athletically. Evan made a point on Derricks podcast, he plays the game almost desperately and like hes in quicksand, and panicks, almost like he overthinks everything, and he worries too much, I remeber Gauntlet 3 he was constantly talking about the game, and overthinking moves 3 steps down the road, but it was funny that he made NO ATTEMPT to disguise throwing challenges,in BOTS2 the guys made it look they screwed up on the final challenge, in the ruins Johnny made it seem like accident he dropped the roses... but in gauntlet 3 ct was so deliberate in throwing it he left no doubt.

I love Evan, but that's funny coming from him. Evan is the one that looks frantic in like elimination rounds. But other than that, he seems cool with the game. I've never seen CT play like that though. Maybe he's not as good as JEK, but I've never thought if him/seen him as the Paula-type competitor.

I don't think he's a male Paula, but he probably panics because every one is out to get him, and can you blame him? He has no one, no body wants him in the finals so it's way more stress full when the top thing one ever ones mind is to get you out, JEK have one another and I don't think people are as scared of Johnny/Kenny as they are say Darrel/CT/Landon etc. I don't know what Paula/Robin's deal is, it's not like they're on every ones hit list.

I think Evan only used CT as an example because they were talking about people they felt that come into the challenges literally needing money. He says he always felt CT was the kind of person who made deals with buying like cars and stuff and saying oh yeah ill have the money soon after i do this challenge. He says that's why he thinks CT nevers wins is because he feels as if he comes in needing the money, not wanting it. Of course there is no proof behind this at all and CT did mention on his own podcast interview that he makes more money at his own job at home than he could possibly win at the challenge. (i think they said he flips homes or something in Vermont).

After the CT podcast Derrick and Kenny did like a seperate thing right after that just to talk because the interview wasn't what they were expecting. In that segment Kenny said CT flips multimillion dollar houses and he said he lives in Vermont during his podcast. Also when i was looking up info on his brothers murder i read at one point Vinnie (CT's brother) moved to Vermont to help CT flip houses. I don't know if he still does but CT did that podcast in January 2011 so it was fairly recent.

This came from justice4vinnie.com which CT's dad runs. Plus Kenny said CT flips houses on the podcast in Janaury 2011. So i have a feeling he does this and isn't a personal trainer. And i remember CT saying he always kept a job when doing challenges because he makes a lot of money with his job, far more than what he could possibly win. I don't know how much money you make as a personal trainer, but flipping houses can bring in a hefty sum of money.
