I think Rivals is a good gateway into ushering a new generation of Challengers.

Hey, Guys. I'm new but I have been following this forum for a while now. I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in having a point system thread for this challenge. I wanted to start one but I wanted to make sure it would actually have interest.

Points for competitors per episode? Points for episodes? Points for the challenges? Points for the Jungles?

Only points for the missions. Just like on battle of the sexes, have a point system set up to show where the teams lie from strongest to weakest. That way we have more physical proof of how the teams are doing. We did it on this other forum I was on with the Duel and it lead to some interesting conversation.

Last place would get 1 point. For the 1st episode.

Robin and Katie are on Derrick's podcast..did not know Robin had beef with Ev, she called her a dirtbag. lmao.

Trishelle has expressed a lot of interest in returning for challenges. IMO it seemed she had one of the more successful show business careers out of the RW/RR franchise. Could this begin a trend some more older cast members returning? I feel like she would bring Katie back with her. I think that would cause Robin to come back for more. Maybe even Veronica/ Rachel.

If Katie wants to come back, she will come back. She doesn't need Trishelle. Katie just said that she has a really good job and is almost done with school. Veronica and Rachel have returned, Veronica isn't coming back. I'm just happy they returned at all.

Katie will obviously be more likely to return if her best friend is on it. I never said she needed Trishelle. Also, I feel like Veronica will be back eventually.

If Tonya's personal life was better, her whole experience on "The Ruins" would've been different and she probably would've done another one after.

I 100% AGREE! i feel like if older people like that come back MTV will ahve no choice but to do a Rivals II lol. I just want older Road Rulers back or even Road Rules the series back (even though i know that is highly unlikely) that way they can have RW vs. Road Rules Challenges again or even RW vs. RR/FM. I think it would be good for them to go back to basics.

So she may say that now but she is definitely the type of person who would return for the right amount of money or even when things in her life are going kind of slow.

This is random, but if the contract is renewed, what do you think the next challenge format should be? I know they have to do something that will cause drama, but I would like to see a duel 3, hell I wouldn't mind another inferno or another ruins, ruins had a really good format. But I don't think we'll see anymore normal games so I think maybe Rivals II guy/girl teams, like seriously how do you top rivals? Maybe bring back some old schoolers, and make a newbies vs old guys or another battle of the sexes.

I don't think they'll ever do a battle of the sexes again it was very uneven. The ruins was too but for some reason i feel like there will be another. As for rivals, it definitely will not be the next challenge just because they wouldn't do back to back of the same challenge. I feel like it will be a new concept.which will be followed by sequels (FM 3, Cutthroat 2, Rivals 2, and Ruins 2) Duel would be a possibility but i feel like the last one was pretty boring. I feel like they should definitely do an inferno 4. I don't think there will ever be another gauntlet, just because there are so many vets and not enough rooks.

They could do timed or relay type missions, lol they're not going to get the guys and girls to fist fight each other UFC style. I don't know if they will go back to the other games though, might not bring enough drama. they need something that's going to make you go omg, what ever it is, I kinda want it to be no teams, but something that still needs alliances just not Island 2.

I think they have potential to cast some really strong people from each team. I'd say for the good team, guys like Landon, Alton, Brad even, EVan (may be a stretch but a good way to break up JEK), Darrell (might be a stretch too, but he's generally well liked) and girls like maybe Paula, Brittini, Cara Maria, Susie, Kim, Camila. And well the "Bad guys" team is kinda obvious- we're talking Johnny, Kenny, Laurel, Ev, Wes maybe, Jenn. I think it might work if they do it well.

But I don't mind a Duel 3, because only the strong survive.

Am I the only one who enjoys seasons more whenever they have a new concept? Some of the concepts are tried and true and work well, but it's nice to have a new game to learn the rules of. That being said, Duel I and II are definitely both some of my favorite seasons.

I would like to see another season of The Duel as well, but they need to get rid of all this partner nonsense. It's supposed to be an INDIVIDUAL competition! Or make them change partners every time.

I agree, because sometimes some partners are weak and rely on the other player.

I would have liked to see people compete individually besides in the final mission. I'm definitely in support of The Duel 3 if the rules are changed and some old vets come back like Beth, Tonya, Veronica, Julie, Ace, or Shane. I honestly think that BMP likes to see older vets on the show because you don't know how they are going to fit in (e.g. Veronica and Ibis on The Ruins).

You can also put people from old infernos on there like alton/ace/jodi for the good guys. Some other good guys would be Tyler, Chet, Emily (DC), CJ (Cancun), Cohutta and probably a few fresh meat 2 competitors. And I doubt they'll have issues finding people for the bad *** team, just the regular bad ***** like JEK, Abram, CT, jenn, evelyn, aneesa, laurel etc.

I"d like to see a team format. But like Debut said, balance it. Cutthroat was a cool set up, with the three teams.
