The Challenge Series: RW/RR (Generic Thread)

I actually liked Sandy from FM2 and thought she was funny. Guess no one else did LOL.

This dude really thinks he is the greatest challenger ever (yes i'm bringing the discussion to this topic!) while actually from what I've seen of him on the challenges, he sucks. He didn't do **** on the island, it's still a mystery to me why abe gave dunbar his key.. On the duel 2 the only thing I remember from him is that the shot where he was trying to hold CT back from killing Adam. In the ruins he was **** talking the whole time then got beat by johnny. And then on cutthroat he beat Dan and was carried to the finish by tori/brad. So does this guy just need a reality check or do they just edit it in a way to it seems like dunbar sucks?

And yes, Dunbar really does suck and because he won he feels like he can talk like he's a great competitor, if that's what helps him sleep at night then let him, but history shows that he is nowhere near the level that he believes he is.

It would be hard to get 14 teams but I think I could come up with maybe 10 teams.

And Abram supposedly gave him the key as a favor help Kenny and Johnny. Dunbar's annoying as hell but it's kinda funny at the same time like on the Island when he was acting as if he was going to starve and die tomorrow if he doesn't get the amount of protein that he calculated.

When you think of all the hookups, i don't think it would be that hard. Multiple people could pair with mulitple people. A lot of people have multiple challenge hookups and have had drama with them. Guy/girl teams could be made. CT/Diem.. .Evan/veronica. ..Wes/Johanna... robin/Dan Johnny/Kelly ann was rumored... ..Mandi/Chet.. Coral/Abram. ..Danny/Melinda Just basically old hookups woudln't even have to be necessarily rivals but most of those have bad feelings or did in the past. I am sure there are lots more, that was off top of my head. Most of the entire Duel 1 regular missions were guy/girl paired, so it can definately work. Biggest problem getting them all together. But if rivals worked, i imagine this would for the right prize. Could just be any guy/girl pair that has had drama, not necessarily hookups, but that could be one of the reasons for pairing.

With a couple pairing's probably stretching it just like the upcoming challenge. I would say agree some woudln't do it before rivals was put together, but the main rivals are there, so i bet they would with the guy/girl rival pairing too. With money comes people allowing themselves to be in situations they don't prefer. Most of our list have been on another show already together since their breakup/drama when you think about it so to me that means they would. They may not know what type of challenge it is either beforehand. Mark long and robin/Tonya could be a pair. They had drama.

But now I think the cast knows that they're going to do stuff for ratings so I dont know if there will be anymore Infernos or Gauntlets because that format might not bring enough drama. lol I bet the people who declined were glad they did.

That's very surprising since the RW/RR Challenges differ a lot from Bad Girls Club. I guess BMP crossed their fingers and hoped the ladies would stir up some trouble in the Challenge house.

People seem to loving the previews for the new challenge. I however don't like it. All it is, is the cast fighting and crying. It's upsetting, they all probably had a lousy time there. The challenges used to be the alumni having fun and also having SOME drama. It's like in the new one (from what I can see), everyone is mad paranoid of one another and are drunk 3/4 of the time.

So that is what they put in the promos to attract people. It doesn't mean, however, that the show will be be devoid of the other aspects of some past challenges which were more like celebrations than mean-spirited competition. You may not be aware that some cast members have reported that this challenge was fun and that the production company treated them differently this time. As I've said elsewhere, don't abandon hope for what you want to see in Rivals. You may actually get most of what you want. I'm frankly a little shocked that after hundreds of comments in vevmo's fora over the years, some people apparently watch a trailer or promo and instantly believe anything put in front of them (Dr Pavlov would be so proud!) The business of entertainment TV is all about smoke and mirrors. If the concept is that each pair is made up of an enemy of sorts, and those enemies have alliances, then of course the producers are not going to name a challenge "Rivals" and then show how they are all best buddies singing Kumbaya around the campfire. Those good times will happen. You'll just have to wait for the individual pairing epiphanies -- some will definitely happen right before your eyes.

The real measure is live plus DVR viewers within the first 24 hours. Research (and practical experience) shows that more ads are watched during online viewed that DVR replays where people routinely skip the ads.

I'm gonna be a work from 3-11 tonight. I thought I could at least count on the dailies today to hold me over but they aren't up yet. I can't believe this is what it took for me to turn my cable back on lol.
