I think the story is Wes was the replacement on the real world Austin for Kenny Kenny dropped out for some reason. I could be wrong.
I also heard this. If I recall correctly, he said he decided not to do it because of his girlfriend at the time.
Thanks for the info, Andrew. I would have liked to see how the "friendship" between Kenny and Wes would have progressed if they had been on the same RW season. I think the RW/RR Challenges would have been a lot different today if Kenny was on RW: Austin.
Would've been funny to see who johanna would've gone for ^^
I also heard this. If I recall correctly, he said he decided not to do it because of his girlfriend at the time.
On his fresh meat after show interview with Blair, Kenny made it sound like he wasn't picked.
I think all FM were finalist on rw, and I believe Noor was a finalist on rw: Brooklyn
So there is no actual application process for Fresh Meat? All of the challengers were people who applied to Real World and didn't make it? Sorry if this is a widely known fact, but I was totally unaware.
That would make sense since I've never seen an application process for Fresh Meat. It's sad because if I ever want to apply, then I have to do so for real world, and not just for the challenges. I can do without living in a *** house for 3 months, but I'd love to be on a game show where one is tested by walking on tightropes on top of skyscrapers and performing in one on ones like "rag doll". I think rag doll would be really exciting! I wish they'd bring back Road Rules before I turn 25 :-(
You know what I dont see what MTV sees in some of these FM contestants. If they were on real world I can't see them being very interesting. Some I can understand like Ev was a sexually confused shy person, Kenny is a funny cocky *******, Evan is a jerk and has some good one liners, but Sandy, Noor, Mandi, Brandon and whoever else I just dont see whats so interesting about them. It seems like real world has changed like the first few real words were way different. On the real world with Pedro and Puck, they never even partied and they would talk about politics and stuff. Then they went to casting nut cases like Paula, Kelly Anne and Brook which was fine but now I guess its just alcoholic fame *****s and boring people, only Mike and Dustin were unique this season . Oh and if anyone has seen Kim's (RW Hollywood) casting tape, omg it was so obvious she was just saying stupid ditsy stuff to try and sound like a ***** I dont know how or why MTV bought it.
I remember somewhere that both Bunim & Murray don't run the show anymore, I think one passed away, and I also think they got bought out. So maybe that has something to do with the casting. It just seems as though this era is more about "you keep your opinions to yourself, I'll keep mine to myself" hopefully in a few years the same old "this one slept with that one and the *********s on the **** they should have shown come to an end. I'd love to see more people like Frankie who brought cutting to a new light and Jamie and Frank who just seemed to be simple down to earth individuals... even Brooke who yes is much more like this new overly sexual act for the camera cast, but she was unique. Story lines. I know it's harder to tape when you can't find many people other than wanna be actors, but that's the risk I feel should be taken when reality tv is what you're supposed to be filming. Sometimes I feel producers should look in a dictionary and find the term "reality" :-/ Sorry for the rant.
When are the dailies coming?!?!
I thought it would be interesting if they put everyone who auditioned for the Real World into a picking, and chose 7 or 8 randomly. Y'all will probably find so many problems with this method, but I think that this way would be a more accurate portrayal of the "real world", at least in terms of casting.
When are the dailies coming?!?!
When do they usually start posting them?
When are the dailies coming?!?!
I'm not sure if it was in this forum but I know I read somewhere on Vevmo that the dailies are due to start the same day as the challenge (June 22nd), presumably to be posted that afternoon. Love the dailies!!

I liked Kenny, Evan, Eric, and Diem on FM. The only contestant I really enjoyed watching on FM2 was Pete, and to an extent, Laurel. I'm currently re-watching FM2 in prep for Rivals and I'm honestly bored. I'm surprised because I remember enjoying it the first time I watched it. I watched an episode with two other people tonight and they fell asleep through the episode. I asked one of them why they fell asleep and she said that these people are boring. I know BMP/MTV needed to create a new generation of people for the future of these challenges, but I'm equally disappointed. I also re-watched The Ruins and I loved it. I believe that partly has to do with watching Cohutta eliminate Wes, along with Veronica, Tonya, and Katie.

I'm a big Susie fan, so that is probably 80% of the reason, but I loved the individual bank account twist, and the fact that Syrus and Veronica were brought back. I didn't like Veronica at all until I saw her in the Ruins.
Ikr? The only person from FM2 that stood out was Laurel and I guess Mandi because she got in a fight but who remembers Sandy, Cindy and Jeff like I cant even remember some of their names. FM2 was only about the vets, no one really cared about the FM, but on FM1 the fresh meat were more memorable.Although to be fair only like five original FM are still here, Ev, Kenny Evan, Diem and Eric but they were still memorable and Ev, Kenny and Evan usually run the challenges. And Diem should have been on the real world she could have talked about cancer and they could have done something good with that.

I didn't see her original RR season or on Extreme Challenge. She was pretty invisible on Gauntlet 2 besides being in the in the main girl alliance and Kina got most of the airtime. I don't remember much from her stint on the Inferno 3 besides the I Hate Tonya game. However, The Ruins made me a fan of hers. I loved how she stood up to Johnny Bananas. I also enjoyed the individual bank accounts because it eliminated people riding their way to the final with money and a bigger incentive to go into eliminations.
Ikr? Do you mean Cara Maria or Carley? I guess the FM2 contestants had little influence on you because you can't remember their names. :p I think Diem would have been wonderful on The Real World. I got emotional while watching her on The Duel when she had to take off her wig for the first time in front of people since her cancer treatment. I like that she plays the game clean. She's a class act, which is rare for contestants on these shows.
I feel like one of the reasons why we don't like the Fresh Meat is because they go directly to the challenges and we don't see there struggles like we saw with Paula, Danny, Brooke and Brad. One thing the challenge doesn't offer is a growing experience like the Real World or Road Rules. Although now I do think all of it is getting a little more shallow. I think Blue made a good point about Diem. And I feel we would have gotten to see a softer side to Kenny... or people would have called him out on his vanity. Either way we would know these characters more that people that just play in challenges. And I believe that's what's missing.
Sydney maybe?
Hmm... honestly when I heard Cindy I thought she was Danny's teammate. But maybe that's because she's the first one I think of when I hear "Unimportant people from Freshmeat II"

They should do a Rivals guy/girls team mate challenge and put her and CT together, why not bring back all the exes, plus Ev/Johnny and Kenny/Kelly Anne and Laurel/Abram and Adam R/Nany now that would be awkward as ****.
Hmm... honestly when I heard Cindy I thought she was Danny's teammate. But maybe that's because she's the first one I think of when I hear "Unimportant people from Freshmeat II"
Wasnt Danny's team mate named Sandy? lol **** we dont know ****! :p
Sandy's the Asian girl who was Danny's partner that did nothing, although she kind of thought Danny was an *****. Too bad she blew the Exile. Sydney was the African American girl who was CJ's partner who threw the exile against Landon/Carley, though at the time it seemed to be the most pathetic elimination round performance since Ace on Inferno 1.

She was quite forgettable, but not everybody off the a FM season can exploit reality TV for their fifteen minutes. I doubt many people beside the hardcore lovers off the RW/RR Challenges remember people like Johnnie, Jesse, or Chanda from the original FM since they didn't return for more challenges. They could have done opposite *** teams for Rivals, but we've seen a lot of that with the Fresh Meat seasons plus the Duel 2 for some reason. I think the same *** partners will spice the show up. :p

But still they couldnt pass up Kenny/Wes and Adam/CT, Coral and Ev would be sick so would Kelly Anne/Johanna. I remember Johnnie but not the other two, maybe they could give some of them a chance, some times it takes a few seasons before they do anything memorable like Johnny/Ev and the Island and Kenny wasn't that memorable until him and the whole Wes thing happened.
If they could cast a show like rivals with opposite *** ex-lover teams, that'd be pretty sweet.
It would be interesting if they had the normal same-sexed partners for Rivals and when they get down to the last two teams the should have the rivals go into The Jungle against each other. We rare get to see two strong competitors in an elimination round so at least this way we're guaranteed 4 great match ups. The last great eliminations that we've seen was Tyler v Johnny (v CT). Derrick v Tyler and Brad v Landon.

Namely Kim, do you guys think this was due to her team always losing, or could it have been the attitude of the cast in general? Wasn't Casey the same way?
I seem to remember a certain Road Ruler named Nick that Alton eliminated with one finger on Gauntlet 2. :dash3:
You mean Danny, and good call! I knew I forgot one of them.
You mean Danny, and good call! I knew I forgot one of them.
Oh yeah, Danny lol, I guess I really am bad with names these days. I just feel Ace's Inferno was designed to be instant elimination, or you could stay in there forever. I would be terrified to have bugs crawl over me to be honest. I can't even pick them up with a paper towel after I kill them by spraying/drowning them with any aerosol can I can find (bug spray, air freshener, butter spray ect...)

Did you simply mean bring back all the exes and have them as partners? Or did you mean that, and included some extra pairs that you would like to see? And why Adam/Nany, was that supposed to go with the Exes or you would just honestly like to see Nany/Adam as a rookie pair?
