Evan wasn't confident he could beat him, that's why they made the switch. They would rather have him than Johnny so they made the safe call. I don't remember Evan saying "no put me in i can take him" he was protecting his own butt. Hard to predict what would happen but that team got robbed
Just so you guys know, you don't have to feel compelled to post in every single person's thread. I'd rather have a person post in 3 people's threads with meaningful content rather than post "Can't wait to see them compete!" for every person.

I'm not sure who you're talking to here but I just didn't like that Tyrie was the only one without any posts, and that was a genuine post to, him and Davis are a good pair of guys who i'll always want to see do well every challenge.
The cast are not allowed cameras anymore, nor are they allowed to bring iPods/mp3 players, laptops. They used to be able to. Unfortunately the challenges have gotten super SUPER strict, which is one of the reasons why old alumnis don't want to return.
Yes pictures of the costume party from the duel 2 were on facebook. However, they had their cameras taken away right after and that party was apparently before the challenge even started. If BMP wants older alumnis to come back and a better challenge, they need to be lenient with the show like they used to be.

Cameras are still snuck in, if they can get away with using them while no one is looking...
Word on the block is that the producer from the last few challenges (Justin Booth, who quite a few people are not a fan of) has produced his last challenge with Rivals, so perhaps a change is a'coming (given that they are renewed).

There will be dancing in the streets if true!
The "no camera" rule is a ridiculous rule in my opinion. I don't know what the reasons are for making that rule, but I can't believe that. They get to go to all these cool places and can't even take pictures of the scenery/their experiences?

I think it's because they are afraid of spoilers being leaked if the players post the pictures on social networks. Of course, the spoilers are always leaked anyway.
I agreem the shows are better when new people win. That's why The Duel 1 was the most watched Challenge season because you saw a lot of new people win challenges and even the final had new people like Brad (who made it far in his first 3 challenges but never been in a final), Wes (even though he was in the Fresh Meat final), Jodi ( was in the G2 Final and won), and Svetlana (who was a rookie just coming off Key West). We also saw really interesting Duel matchups, unlike today where you see the big dogs rarely go in elimination, and even if they do it's against scrubs. Most of the time on the challenges, the lower ranked players go against each other, so there aren't really interesting matchups. But in the Duel 1, you had Wes vs Derrick, Johnny vs Tyler, Brad vs Eric and CT, CT vs Evan, and Kenny vs Nehemiah...those are matchups we never see anymore.
To be honest, those players weren't really considered top tier in those days. We can look back now and say "Wow look at amazing match-ups, why can't we have those now?" when in reality, back then, many of those players were rookies or not recognized for their strengths (ala Evan, Johnny, Tyler, Kenny... well Nehemiah is still the same now). So maybe in a few years, someone will say "Wow, Theresa and Ryan as a pair? Unfair advantage, how did they NOT win?" ......
But he was a good competitor, and it would be fun (in my opinion atleast) to see him compete on another challenge.
By that standard, Laurel and JEK should keep coming because they are good competitors.... Landon too... (although IMO he brings nothing personality wise to the table). I like good competitors and all, but how boring will it be to not have a weak person here and there.
Tj made is clear from the beginning of the final mission though. He said no man was allowed left behind. I thought they made that rule due to the whole "army strong" sponsoring they were getting that season.
Hated that challenge. It was so unfair. I don't even care that it was an army challenge.
Did anyone check out the pathetic list of the challenges "baddest bad girls" or whatever they called it? What a joke. They act as if challenges didn't exsist before Fresh Meat 1. What the **** were Brittini and Theresa doing on that list?! Plus it's like they don't even know the girls' past. They called Rachel a Republican! Lol. Here's my list... and this one is better!
1. Coral- RW B2NY
2. Beth- RW LA
3. Veronica- RR Sem. at Sea
4. Tonya- RW Chicago
5. Tina- RR South Pacific
6. Katie- RR The Quest
7. Jenn- RW Denver
8. Rachel- RR Campus Crawl
9. Evelyn- Fresh Meat
10. Laurel- Fresh Meat 2
11. Emily- RR USA 2
12. Aneesa- RW Chicago
13. Tris****e- RW Las Vegas
14. Julie- RW New Orleans
15. Kellyanne- RW Sydney
16. Belou- RR Europe
17. Holly- RR Max. Velocity Tour
18. Kina- RR X-Treme
19. Tori- RR Viewer's Revenge
20. Jisella- RR The Quest

I saw that too. It also mentioned she had an attraction to Puck. It sounded as if they were describing Rachel from San Francisco.
I was chatting with a family friend a couple days ago, and mentioned my love for The Real World/Road Rules Challenges. She mentioned that the concept for the show was thought up by Puck. I've Googled a bit and didn't find anything that confirmed that. Can anybody here confirm or disprove this?

I'm pretty sure the behind the scenes thing they did before the Inferno 2 would disprove this, but Puck was "Mr. Big" during Road Rules All Stars. He was kind of luck a host and supposedly came up with their missions.

Well the reason I was wondering about cameras in the first place was because I recently rewatched the Cutthroat S*** They Should Have Shown and Tyler talked about taking a picture of Katie when she made her Emily Rose face.

Oh yea they were totally describing Rachel from San Fran, lol. Obviously with the Puck reference and the fact that she was hard core Republican. Wow, how can you mix up two different Rachel's from two different shows that were 8 years apart? lol.
I don't agree with the whole 3 challenges or more makes you a veteran. I think if you've done challenges for years ex. If a cast member was on Gauntlet 1 (2003) and still doing challenges today would make that person a Veteran. 3 challenges back to back (Ruins, FM2, Cutthroat) doesn't make you a Vet. Please

What's your point? It's a defined term in the contract. You can call them anything you want, but BMP will use the word as the contract requires.
You can create any artificial construct you desire and it will be your opinion against the weight of many seasons of contracts which have defined the case. They could elect to define rookie as being 5 seasons if they elected to do so. It still wouldn't matter since it is entirely about establishing payment strata and nothing else.

I just watched some behind the scenes footage of some of the Cutthroat cast plus Kenny. Aside from disliking everyone in the video a little more now, Kenny mentioned that Abe left the Island challenge on purpose "for Coral" dos anyone here know how true/legitimate this statement is?

100% true. They were actually in Hawaii together when, according to the show edit, he should have been in Montana dealing with some construction company challenges.

I bet he regrets that now, especially considering his great position in the game at the time he left.
I bet he regrets that now, especially considering his great position in the game at the time he left.
He doesn't seem like the regretful type.
Over the seasons, there have always been whispered suggestions about under-the-table $$$ arrangements among some players. His departure certainly seems like an instance where his absence would be to the advantage of some others in the game. Not exactly speculation on my part, but more like whimsy...
The Island would've been so awesome if Abram had stayed, not only cause he is my favorite competitor on the challenges but also because it probably would've been Johnny/Kenny vs Abram/Derrick. Of course the original plan probably would've been for all 4 of them to be in a boat, but with the rules changing to people winning the face-off being able to take a key from someone else a boat with the 4 of them would've been very unlikely. And having Derrick/Abram on 1 boat and Johnny/Kenny on the other would've made for a good final I think.

I agree, maybe it should be if someone wins a certain number of elimination rounds and/or challenges, something respectable lol. But that's just my opinion.

There's a difference between being a veteran in the BMP contract, and being considered a veteran by the true veteran players.

I'm not really talking about the contract, im just talking about people coming on a challenge throwing the word "vet" around (i.e Jenn, Mandi) as if they should get respect just because they've been on a certain number of challenges.
