The Amazing Race 18 - We Had a Lot of Evil Spirits Apparently
While in Japan, one team's hopes are shattered after a car crash jolts them to the back of the pack, and Racers get down and dirty in a pile of frigid mud
Hopefully none of the teams know how to speak Japanese this time around like the Hippies did that one season. That was just so annoying.
I'm not a fan of people knowing how to speak a language. It gives them a huge extra advantage.

Yeah it definitely always gets on my nerves. Although if it's something like Spanish, I think I'm okay with that.
Haha, the Trotters look funny in their car.
I feel like Ron uses a lot of big words without actually knowing what the meaning is.
Hahahaha!! The Trotters are hilarious in that car and I seriously need a dictionary to understand Ron.
Ruh row...not the fanny pack!
I wonder if they can just leave it in their car. That's probably what I would do.
We have seen people lose their stuff though. I mean if it's not their fault I personally don't think they should get penalized, even though I wish Ron would.
I like Mel & Mike but it was a given that they were eventually going to fall to the demands of the race.
As for the 30 minute penalty, I assume there have to be rules about messing with travel documents. Otherwise, the whole race would be about stealing the other team's passports and tossing them into the nearest trash receptacle. ;)

But that would be awesome to watch ;)
I'm sad that Mike and Mel are out because I like them but they wouldn't have lasted much longer.
So happy that Zev and Justin are doing well. They are definitely my favorite team and I hope they last a while if they don't win it all.
Ron and Christina need to go away fast. I highly doubt that they would have put in the effort to bring the fanny pack back if they had made the same mistake. You just know that Ron would have yelled at Christina to hurry up and just leave the fanny pack where the Trotters could find it. And if she had tried to bring it back he probably would just yell at her again for waisting time.
I am happy Zev and Justin came in first. They seem like a pretty strong team. I hope they don't lose their passports again!
Ron is very annoying. I feel bad for Christina. Not because she is running a race with her father, but because her father is very annoying. Everyone should know never to do streneous physical or mental activities with people who have such a strong and annoying personality.
Kent is funny. He reminds me of a doll. "Get me some children"

Yeah but they didn't throw away the fanny pack; they had it in their possession.
Is it that hard to go to the Globetrotters once they finished the leg and swap the fanny packs? The penalty was unneeded
Yeah but they didn't throw away the fanny pack; they had it in their possession.
Actually no, they took the fanny pack and put it somewhere other than the location they found it. Even though it was an accident, their actions slowed down Ron and Christina considerably as it was tantamount to "hiding it" being it was not were it originated. As I stated in my previous post, I am quite sure there are rules that dictate against the "hiding or taking" of another teams travel documents, accidental or not. It was up to the Globetrotters to return the fanny pack to its origin point as it was not theirs to take.
The penalty was deserved.

Oh okay, I thought they took R&Cs fanny pack and left theirs. Thanks for clarifying

That entire segment on the show was a little confusing. At the time I had no idea what was going on until Ron said "Oh here ours is," or something like that. I was first under the impression that the Trotter took R/C and then left their fanny pack at the detour.

They should have said something I'm not bashing because I am rooting for them ,but something should have been verbally said about the fanny pack from the Trotters because they knew they took it. Also did anyone notice when Jen hugged the grandmaster he looked all mad but when Kent hugged him he was smiling.

I loved how Zev chest bumped him! haha!
Anyone else notice the awesome shirt Justin was rocking this leg?
He also wore it in the promo pic here,

Too funny. I love them so much!
I didn't look at the picture above... I just read what you wrote and scrolled down to reply. I'm assuming you are referring to the shirt that said Duck Whisperer? I thought that was really funny.

That was really funny. Zev and Justin are slowly turning into my favorite team :)

I like that! They are pretty awesome! I still remember when zev gave his shirt to a woman who looked cold on his previous season!
I also really enjoyed the detours. They seemed fun. I can't believe Cara and Jamie weren't eliminated. They lucked out.
Can't believe Christina is engaged to that guy Azaria from her season (Season 12). They seem like such a strange combination.
I thought it was really strange also. And if I remember him correctly he also treated his sister much like Ron treats Christina. Hopefully he has changed much more than Ron has or she is just marrying another version of Ron. Get out Christina while you still can!
