I loved the original movie and even though I know sequels are always letdowns (sans Empire Strikes Back) I'm still looking forward to seeing the gang get back together!
Loving Alan's dog shirt already, but where is his [strike]man bag[/strike] satchel?? I also hope that Stu gives us another song as great as the one about the Tiger and his dreams.

Terminator 2, Aliens, The Dark Knight, and The Godfather Part 2 all disagree with you on that.

You had to dig deep on that one! All the way back to '74 to find a 4th example, lol.
Hey, at least you found one from each of the last 4 decades. I'm impressed.
How about this: 99.99% of all sequels are letdowns...

Yeah, sadly that's pretty much all there is.... you gotta admit it's very possible to make a great sequel but 99.99% of directors, producers, and writers could give a crap and the sequel turns out to be garbage or average at best. All of those sequels that I mentioned above crushed the original except maybe The Godfather films but the sequel was still better.
Honestly though, who cares about how Hangover 2 compares to the original....the four sequels I mentioned were classics and had some big expectations to meet. The Hangover was just an average movie to me so I don't think Hangover 2 can be all that bad especially when you compare it to the original.
I could care less about average films and their sequels but come to think of it, probably half of the time classic/great films get atleast a pretty good sequel too.
It has been mentioned somewhere here but Real World San Diego's Jamie Chung is a part of this cast.
Which is why her name is on the tags:

New trailer up. Looks like this time they lose Laura's (Jamie Chung) brother:

Sad that Doug is a background character. It would have been nice to see him actually join them in finding Jamie's brother.
And at least they mentioned Heather Graham's character in the trailer.
