"I'm a 52 year old man" Nice underwear nerd.
They need to hide those **** idols better!
I know right? Definitely bothers me they can find them without clues. They should put them in the most random place they can find. Also that Phillip guy is just digging his own grave and the ratty saggy red/pink underwear needs to be covered up immediately.
There is no question that the teams seem a bit uneven as far as physical ability.
Bahahaha the Erik moment. Definitely the dumbest move on Survivor known to man.

The underwear that Phillip is wearing almost reveals a little too much... And as Bacchus said, so far it looks like Purple tribe is stacked in comparison to the orange tribe.
There is no way I would ever tell anyone I had the idol. It always seems to screw someone in the end. And on the first tribal council? Idiots.
I think she (the girl with the idol) just wants to make big moves and make a name for herself by voting Rob out. Christine.
There has to be a rule or something about getting rid of Rob. Burnett is not going to let his stars fall that quick, is he? I'd read the spoilers on this very site, but I just can't do it for this show. :D
I think she (the girl with the idol) just wants to make big moves and make a name for herself by voting Rob out.
Agreed. She is trying to be the female Russell.
Probably one of the better moments where they decide to split the vote, if they go with that. Normally they don't need the split vote when they decide to use it, but hopefully Rob can pull it off. This is why I love Rob because he knows what he's doing.
If you talk about yourself in the third person, you are indeed an as*****.
OMG seriously dude? What a *******.
If you talk about yourself in the third person, you are indeed an as*****.
"Russell Hantz is here to win." Definitely an as***** as well. You are exactly right and I can already probably guess that Phillip is not going to win at all. He's digging his own grave over and over again.
Phil is a loon! *****!
Phil, no one cares that you were a federal agent. No. One.
Phillip is bat**** crazy... I love it.
"Give me the immunity idol and you'll stay." Oh I love Rob.
Phillip is bat**** crazy... I love it.
Ditto! Wow, the first episode of this season is ten times better than season 21. Phil = Great reality TV.
Good move Christina!!
Good move Christina!!
I think she figured that Philip would end up voting for Francesca. Definitely a smart move.
Great opening episode. It will be interesting to see how redemption island comes into play in the coming weeks.
This one episode was 100 times better than last season combined. I hope this means that this season is going to be a great one, and the previews for next week look quite good.
Someone said, "I don't think "Franchesci"or "Francesqa" wasn't going to last long." And they were right lol. I should start listening to the to the wierdos on cbs.com This is easily one of my favorite seasons so far. (And Russell didn't even get that much face time I guess that's why I liked it.) It seems like the showed a spoiler in the "Coming Up" clip.

I love how Francesca kept interrupting crazy... I mean Phillip. He was getting so flustered. Figures she'd be the first to go. I was a little surprised that Kristina didn't use the immunity idol. Sister-girl better hold on to that thing and hope no one manages to steal it. Also, am I the only person who thinks that she looks like Danielle Staub from Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Russell vs Rooster was funny. It was like him arguing with a mirror for some reason.
I can't believe this fool's been on my tv 3 out of the last 4 seasons...get him outta here asap
Must be a very smart fool then, considering he's never been voted out of the game in his two times playing. The strategy he's used the last two seasons will never allow him to win Survivor, but I still believe he's one of the greatest players to ever play the game. If he makes it far once again this season, with everyone already knowing his past, then that will only prove that more.
I hope Phillip stays around just for entertainment. He's incredibly annoying, but I think he'll make for some good drama and arguments...although with the way this first episode went, I don't see him sticking around much longer. And as somebody else pointed out, no one cares that he used to be a federal agent. He repeated that so many times throughout the episode, like that was going to give him some right to act above everyone else. And Kristina is a moron. Why tell anyone that you already found the idol this early in the game? And why trust somebody like Phillip? She completely botched this one. Not too sure if I'm going to like the Redemption Island aspect of the game. I guess it will take some time getting used to it. I wonder at what point in the game will they let the one person back into the game?
This is the first premiere that has actually gotten me hooked since Guatamala. Phillip was way more crazy than I ever expected! I like Kristina more than I would've ever guessed. I have extremely high hopes for this season. :)
so this is new redemption island kind of like a challenge? I DVR'd it, have to check it out tomorrow
so this is new redemption island kind of like a challenge? I DVR'd it, have to check it out tomorrow
There is a different focus (strategy vs. *** and boozing) and it is tilted toward a slightly older demographic. Still, there are similarities and it is the king of reality shows. It has a huge production budget which allows for elaborate sets and unlike the challenge you never get the feeling it is amateur hour (from an editorial point of view.) In the end, it all comes down to the cast. This season started off with a bang, but the jury is still out.
