I think Gauntlet 3 was her best challenge ever because she performed very well i think because she knew she had a HUGE chance at winning the final because her team was stacked. Even her team said in delberation that they only sent her in because out of the orther four girls Katie-being saved which meant no gauntlet for her. Diem Paula and Robin, they said her best wasnt there best so they chose her.
Casey is a doe-eyed Southern belle from Texas. She's the first to admit she has no physical strengths and isn't particularly comfortable with people from different races, economic classes or sexual preferences. Only time will tell if Casey will sink or swim as she ventures outside the comfort zone of her privileged life in the ultimate challenge of her social and athletic abilities.
What!?!? Has her "not being comfortable with different races, economic classes, or sexual preferences" ever come up on the show!??! Jeez, I already didn't like her at all but if this statement is true I think she's easily one of the most unlikable characters on these shows. She sucks at challenges and brings absolutely nothing drama or competition wise and now (according to this) she's also incredibly discriminatory!?!? Anybody know why her bio would say that and if/when she ever made comments or did things that support this statement???

I can't say that I know her well, but do know her well enough to assert that in all respects, she is a very normal, caring person who I can't believe has malice toward any distinct group.

Just a note: The bios for all the castmembers came straight from MTV.com. Perhaps you should take it up with them... ;)

Oh yeah, no...I sure didn't...
I remember Casey saying back on FM that her parents were conservative but she believed in gay marriage and a woman's right to have an abortion. If that's the case she's pretty badly represented in that bio.
Didn't she hook up, or at least flirt with Darrell?
She did with Johnny on the Gauntlet III. The bio's are like resumes, they spice up the persons attributes, to make them look better (or badder).
Didn't she hook up, or at least flirt with Darrell?
I think she did. I remember on the Fresh Meat 1 reunion when she was asked about hooking up with anyone(Or something to that nature It's been awhile since I've seen it) and while she was talking they had cut to Darrell giving her this very odd, serious, concerned look. Almost like he wanted her to keep quiet about something. I found that very odd. So I thought those 2 did hook up but Darrell just wanted to keep it a secret.
It was also talked about on the Aftershow episode she was on. She never confirmed they hooked up but she did say Darrell was her favorite person in the Fresh Meat house.
Totally just lost all respect for her.
Good way to destroy a web site ... People are smart to stay way from attempting to engage in personal politics or religious beliefs. I may have a view that is completely different than yours but we need respect and tolerance here.

I 100% respect others opinions and beliefs. I may not agree, but I respect them. I don't like when others disrespect or put down people for not having the same beliefs as them. I think the entire Casey thing has been blown out of proportion. The Bio's are jokes. It's like a bio for a yearbook, you usually have a friend or collegue write it for you, and you don't even care or check it out. You honestly think Casey has such strong opinions about these things, when she's on MTV and has been caught jumping out the window naked?
Totally just lost all respect for her.
I understand that is a tricky and personal subject for some, but show some understanding :D
She is soo funny. When she said that she didn't want to be stepped on "physically or...metaphorically?"
what episode did she say this?
what episode did she say this?
It was the Repo Race episode on the Ruins - where Cohutta had to run across the rest of the teams' backs and couldn't touch the sand. It was the only mission the Challengers won all season, and it was only because Derrick didn't read the directions, which pretty much lost it for the Champions.

COOL, everyone's minds have totally been changed. Now that we got that out of the way maybe we can talk about Casey Cooper, like why exactly her and Johnny had absolutely no interaction on the Ruins as opposed to the previous challenges they've done together.

don't care, she was the hottest girl on the ruins.
Maybe she found out about, and was offended by, the list Johnny carried with him of all the RW/RR women he'd slept with?
Oh, Johnny, always so classy. I just rewatched my favorite Casey interview moment on the Ruins...
As far as my team, I think everyone "likes" me, as a person. In a challenge, everyone on my team physically loathes me. But on the other team, I feel like most people like me as a person, AND like me from a challenge standpoint.
And an Evan interview follows with
Casey's nervous. Chihuahuas are nervous because they're small and can get stepped on. Casey feels the same way.
As terribly as she did in the challenges on the Ruins, she was one of my favorites to watch. (And I like to think that she was being smart and being extra ****** because she knew none of the champion guys would let the girls pick her.)

When has she ever done well?
I'm not saying she's great or anything, just that she maybe played up the **********. Whatever the reasons, she made it through, what, like 5 exiles on FM? For most of them, the other team forgot flags or something to lose it, but either way, her and Wes won them. G3, there was never any talk (at least none that made the show) of getting rid of her. She went in only because Coral quit. She was absolutely never a standout performer, but I just think she was waaaay worse on the Ruins than any other she's been on. She personally lost almost every challenge for them. I can't remember all of them but a couple that stick out in my mind are the bridge one, where she swam out and just sat there because she couldn't unclip something under water, and the tire one where it took her forever to get the tire back up the hill. Oh, and the last one where they had to run up a ramp and collect flowers. She didn't even really try. In her other appearances, she seemed to really try at the missions, she just wasn't very good.

And yes, her and Wes may have won 5 exiles, but in addition to the fact that the other teams forgot ****, they also had a lot less weight to carry than other teams, and Wes did most of that carrying.

He even told her that, yet SHE was pissed about that.
She hasn't seen another challenge since The Ruins, where TJ told her she was the worst competitor in challenge history. LOL. I doubt BMP invited her back after that. She seems like a nice person but if you can't overcome your fears for $80K, then these challenges aren't your thing.

So they casted Ayiiiia. At least thats what i heard.
No, I heard she was asked for cut throat, and she said no. So they casted Ayiiiia. At least thats what i heard.
Ahh that makes sense actually, that they'd ask her back, because her lack of athletic ability always ****** off her team members.
I doubt she would have lasted on Cutthroat because the losing team can throw in whoever they wanted so she would have been gone the first time they put her in. The Ruins was her perfect challenge format because as long as the other team kept winning, they would never call her out.
