BTW...is it bad that my favorite song for this week has been The Living Years?
I wouldn't say it was bad, just that the other songs aren't up to par. I think season 2 is being out shined in the song department by season 1, especially when they go to the overly used, "Hey, Soul Sister."
Video of some of the Christmas songs:

And then also the question of whether or not Glee will continue with the same characters after they "graduate":

Another Glee guest star and I don't know if I like the idea of it:

SOOOOO ready for Glee to be back on, but these songs just seem so random and I don't know how I feel about them, especially since they've decided to mash MJ's song with something other than his own.
Super bowl Episode Set List:
1. “California Gurls” / Katy Perry
2. “Need You Now” / Lady Antebellum (Puckleberry duet)
3. “Thriller/Heads Will Roll” (Mash-up) / Michael Jackson/Yeah Yeah Yeahs
4. “Meet Me Halfway” / The Black Eyed Peas
5. “Bills, Bills, Bills” / Destiny’s Child (Dalton Academy Warblers number, acapella)

Aww, **** naw.
Explains Murphy, "We are doing an episode where Sam sings a JB song to win Quinn back…and copies his hairstyle, etc. But it's a small part of a big episode that has a LOT of other things going on."
I've been hearing that Glee is interesting. Was thinking of checking it out, is it recommended for a guy? :D
I mean, you watch Vampire Diaries...I don't think whether it's recommended for a guy really matters ;)
I would say, if you like music, I would recommend it. It's not so much whether it's gender-specific, just that it caters to those who have a musical interest.
True. I was curious as I keep running into spoilers for it! Looks like I'll have a bunch of catching up to do. I heard there planning on doing a new Gaga song, which hasn't even been released yet!
D, I watched an episode of it in my pop culture class and ever since then I thought it was great. They have a great diverse cast, which is my favorite part. It is funny and serious at times. The music is great too. You would like it a lot. I started watching the second season and I hate not knowing (asking fab everything about season 1) so I actually saw that it was on sale for like 13 bucks on black friday and I watched it. I suggest you watch season 1 before trying to watch this season.
Cool man, will definitely get the DVD. I did see some episodes on TV but didn't understand anything. I've seen the Gwyneth Paltrow episode and I'm excited they're bringing her back for a few more!
I thought the Gwyneth one was the weakest one of the season, but def. get the DVD player, I got mine for Christmas and I watch it all the time.
PS. I watched season 2 before season 1 and I wasn't really confused...

Really? I thought that was one of the best singing episodes of the season.

I don't like when Glee has guest stars, IMO, they do better when they focus on the kids. And the only song that I liked from that episode was the singing in the rain/umbrella mashup (mainly because umbrella is a very special song to me for personal reasons). I really liked Grilled Cheesus, Duets, and Furt. I also like Lauren, "Best. Greenroom. Ever." LOL.

HAHAHAHAH Grilled Cheeses was a good one too. So was the wedding. They need to start up new episodes again!
And there's one more "Glee" favorite returning: Kristin Chenoweth. She will be back as April Rhodes in the last batch of episodes of the season for a multi-episode arc.
CHENO!!
From the Thriller/Heads will Roll mash up...Still don't know how I feel about these songs being mashed together.

More upcoming songs:
Episode 12 will be entitled "Silly Love Songs" and will air on February 8, just two days after the Super Bowl episode. It will feature the songs:
"Firework", sung by Rachel, originally by Katy Perry,
"Fat Bottomed Girls", sung by Puck, originally by Queen
"P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing)", sung by Artie Abrams, originally by Michael Jackson
"My Funny Valentine", sung by Tina Cohen-Chang, originally from Babes in Arms
"When I Get You Alone", sung by Kurt and Blaine, originally by Robin Thicke
and
"Silly Love Songs", sung by the Dalton Academy Warblers, originally by Wings.
Episode 13 will be titled "Comeback" and will air February 15. The plot synopsis so far says "Sam performs a Justin Beiber song to win Quinn's approval. Rachel and Mercedes perform a song from Rent." The Justin Beiber song will be "Baby", and the Rent song is rumored to be "Take Me Or Leave Me". It has also be confirmed that football coach, Shannon Beist (played by Dot-Marie Jones) will sing, but the song has not yet been announced.

ALSO ANNE HATHAWAY!!!

Please tell me Rachel and Mercedes will be doing "Take me or leave me".
So they have the Super Bowl episode, plus another episode 2 days later?? That makes me happy.

I would LOVE for that to be the song. It does seem like the only one that will work at the moment. And it makes me feel like a little kid during Christmas morning to know there will be 2 episodes in just a few days.
