Final Destination 5 (2011)
BD Horror News - First Look: Death Returns in Hi-Res 'Final Destination 5' Images! Anybody excited for this to me they have gotten a bit boring just like the Saw series too many just irks me.
I really thought they were done. I am over them. Boring!
5inal Destination. That's how they were originally calling it. The first one was awesome!
There's going to be more ways to scar me?!?!? XxJulieCxX the Saw series is actually taking over the Texas Chainsaw saga.
These movies are freaking awful ...... just like 99% of horror movies these days.
Hah! This is funny, I'm going to guess that it'll be horrible
If they could end the storyline with this one and do it nicely, it could be a good movie. They just need people to realize that death can't be cheated, and there you go. How many seconds does that take, 10? Tops? But yes, if they can just END IT it will be good.
I like the Final Destination movies. They're fun.
[strike]yea i thought they were done making final destination :/ im up for another one, the last was good but i didnt like it being 3d, i hope this one is not in 3d is it going to be in 3d?[/strike] Yeah I thought they were done making Final Destination :-/ I'm up for another one, the last one was good but I didn't like it being 3D, I hope this one isn't. Is it going to be in 3D?
I love these movies!!! The first will always be a million times better than any of the sequels but I still enjoy them.
I hated the 4th one. Even though the 3rd one didn't give any closure to the series, it should have just ended there. Unlike the Saw movies, this series has no plot. Just all out gore. It's tiresome really.
Why did they name the fourth one, The Final Destination, if it wasn't going to be the FINAL destination? Haven't enough hapless kids died in freak accidents already to appease the celluloid gods? They should have stopped after 3 and let it die gracefully after Mary Elizabeth Winstead got nailed by the subway train. And really, how can they ever top Death By Tanning Bed?
They should have ended with the third one. It was the best IMO and the fourth one, ehh it was alright to say the most.
I understand having so many SAW films and having all question answered. But in Final Destination is it a good idea to film a new one unless some how they end the death cycle completely..... but over all it just may work out.

Yeah cause you know all the movies tie into each other with the same characters and stuff just like Scream does.....NO!!! HA uhduh Plus they could go back and show what happened to Devon Sawa and create a movie based on that.
Why did they name the fourth one, The Final Destination, if it wasn't going to be the FINAL destination?
You must be young. Jason and Freddy did the same thing too you know.
5inal Destination. That's how they were originally calling it. The first one was awesome!
Lies. It was never called 5inal Destination. That was a rumor.

Anybody hear any updates on this lately?. The plot about it being a bridge this time dosent excite me at all :( . Actually the only setting I liked was the first one the plane explosion was pretty cool and scary/creative :D. The highway accident, rollercoster, race car track didnt catch my attention. I forgot they announced this installment will also be 3D :(. I hate the 3D glasses they make my head hurt.
You must be young. Jason and Freddy did the same thing too you know. Lies. It was never called 5inal Destination. That was a rumor.
Believe me, it's working USA title is 5nal Destination. It has the relase date of 8/26/11 and Tony Todd is reprising his role as Bludworth!
Can't say I really enjoyed any of these films besides the first one. Guess the franchise must still be making money if they haven't resorted to releasing these straight to dvd.
Yeah I also enjoyed the first film and I did not know it was named Best Horror Film of 2000 by the Saturn Awards. I would of liked for the producers/director not to use the train for the final scene of Final Destination 3, they could of use that as the accident on a movie.
Thats what everyone said but the train ending came from the book which was popular at the time so they used it instead.
Coincidentally, Glen Morgan used Crystal Lowe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the film they did right after, Black Christmas. Both did eh, but I liked them. I like the cast of the 3rd over the 1st two, personally.
Me too. Part 3 had the best cast then part 4 then 2 then part 1
Me too. Part 3 had the best cast then part 4 then 2 then part 1
I think part of it is a majority of the cast have been working together or around each other in Vancouver for so long that they're more comfortable with each other than the previous casts, who were just there for a check. There weren't any primadonna attitudes either.
So maybe for Final Destination 6 they will use a boat, like a cruise.
Thats what everyone said but the train ending came from the book which was popular at the time so they used it instead.
What book??? And I'm shocked that someone above said the cast from the first film was the worst. I mean to each his own but the cast of the first film was AMAZING! Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Sean William Scott (back when he was relevant), Kerr Smith.......I thought it was pretty solid. Especially compared to the no names that mostly populated the sequels.
End of the Line was the name of one of the most popular FD books at the time.
The first one is, and will always be, the best one. The rest were just a "lets try to make the goriest deaths ever" cash in.
End of the Line was the name of one of the most popular FD books at the time.
I didn't even know there were Final Destination books.....did they come out before or after the first movie?
