Johnny just tweeted asking Cara if Abe got ''the call''. Uh oh Challenge 21 calls perhaps?.
Yes...they've been calling for availability, not the official call though. Abram already said on his FormSpring that he did get called.
If Abram got called that means not everybody on their 1st call list said yes. 'Cause Abram said he was on the 2nd call, meaning he would only get called if BMP's 1st choices declined.
What's that mean?
MMA = mixed martial arts.
She could be training for a challenge, but doing it via MMA conditioning seems very unlikely. Not to mention it is entirely too early to start speculating who is on a challenge.

Don't count on it.
Don't count on it.
can you elaborate?? wait.. I know Abe said he was on the 2nd call list but did he get cast in the next one or something?
Regardless of if he got called or not, he seems to be booked for his book tour until March. I don't really see him being on this one unless he cancels all of it, which he probably won't do.

Just to add to this, Abe said that this week he would be locking in the dates for the book tour and has Cincinnati marked down for February.
And whether sarcasm was intended or not, Abe gave his opinion on the challenge's future as "i think it is still going strong for 10 challenges or so". Such a positive guy, it'd be nice if it came true though.

Actually, that would probably be one of the best ways for her to train. Most of the eliminations rounds now involve combat, so having BJJ of grappling training and condition would help any one out tons.
I have been wondering for quite some time when or if T.J. would ever stop hosting the challenges. They'd probably replace T.J. with someone like that snowboarder Shaun White.
I hope not, Shaun White is annoying. Mark is the obvious TJ replacement.
I think when the show was in its prime (Battle of the Sexes 1, Gauntlet 1, Inferno 1, BOTS 2, Inferno 2) the cast members were looked at as celebrities. I remember Going to the Nickelodeon Big Help back in the day and they had Real World/Road Rules cast members there. Maybe they werent "celebrities" per say but some of them were definitely reality "stars". Mike, Coral, Veronica, Rachel, Ruthie, Syrus, Eric Nies, Mark, Puck, Teck, Melissa, Julie, Trishelle, & Katie would be the ones that I would consider "celebrities" back in the day. I remember Syrus, Julie, and Puck were in Eminem's music video! Lol.
I didn't know Puck was in it. Though I probably blinked.

Really? I didn't know he was into writing. What's the book about? And did he really do 10 challenges? I think he only did at least 7-8.

I agree. And ugly too.

Shaun White looks like a long haired Chucky from the Child's Play movies.
Mark is the obvious TJ replacement.
I think Mark is too over the top. TJ is low key most of the time which gives it some weight when he calls someone out or bashes someone. I also think that since Mark is tight with some of the regulars (Kenny, Jenn, Paula, Derrick) it'd be tougher for him to be neutral. To be fair, TJ has said he's good friends with Kenny and you can rarely tell, but it looks like Mark hangs out with certain people regularly outside of these things which TJ probably doesn't (I'm not sure though so correct me if I'm wrong).
Mark wants to do one more Challenge before he officially retires for good. If he shows up on the next one, it's not gonna be to host.
Yes, but that's not to say he won't be the host on later Challenges.
Yes, but that's not to say he won't be the host on later Challenges.
Well yeah but if for some reason TJ can't be on the next one, it's not likely that Mark will replace him. Besides that Mark has a bunch of other stuff to host, hence why he's only done 5 of these.

I really wouldn't call TJ neutral. Prior to this challenge, I would probably say yes. But on Cutthroat he made so many blatant out of place calls. Like he told the red team that they shouldn't be voting Brandon and Camila into the Gulag, which regardless if they should or should not, is not his place to make that claim. Or even when TJ calls a team out for being divided (because their votes are spread), it just isn't his place to say that, especially when voting does not necessarily parallel a team's unity. But I didn't know TJ and Kenny were tight, that's interesting.

I don't know about Mark. He's been on a challenge recently and he knows too many competitors so that screams a bias. If he was the host of Cutthroat he would have never called the Red team out for their Whipping Boy, Whipping Girl treatment, he would have probably thought it was funny and moved on with life. Besides I don't think the cast would take him as seriously as they would a non-alumni, for the simple fact, they're all friends with him.
wondering if Johnny Mostley (sp) host of bots and previous challenges would come back? I always liked him , aside from his fake smile.
He's busy at the moment participating on 'Skating With The Stars'.

He hosted BOTSeasons...
I think Mark is funny, but I have to agree with the majority. He's a bit biased. Some may think that TJ had no buisness saying those things about the Red team or calling people quitters, but hey who doesn't want a host that speaks their mind sometimes. People have already said in this thread that they think Ryan Sheckler is too young, and that they would absolutely hate Shaun White as a host. So if TJ doesn't get better by the next Challenge, maybe they could get a female host that does extreme sports like Lindsey Vonn or someone like that.
I don't have a problem with the way TJ is...I like TJ a lot, always have, and don't want him to go anywhere. I don't think he's biased, he'll call anyone out for quitting regardless if he likes them or not. And had Red constantly thrown someone else in TJ still probably would've said something, he said on the BS Report that his biggest problem with these games are the alliances/collusion which is probably what pissed him off. So that's not bias against a team, it's a bias against using one person a workhorse/scapegoat while the others get a free ride.
