I guess I was wrong. David offered a bright spot in that sorry performance. The thing is, the men never had a chance as Brandy was a true pro and as soon as I saw Gene stumbling with the laptop up to the mic, I knew the men had lost.
BTW: Trump seemed personally offended by the men's performance. I bet he took some **** from Rockport, their show sponsor. It was so bad, I had a hard time watching. He was visibly angry and for the first time in the history of the show, it was not a showbiz, "You're fired" but rather a real Trump, "get the **** out of my face you're fired."
Trump really went off and had good reason too. I was kind of wondering if they were showing the "worst" clips of the presentation or not though - I mean, did he read anything properly? That went so bad. Wade's just not assertive enough for a competition like this, "You okay?" Isn't enough of a rehearsal, and...he wasn't okay. Gene was having emotional turmoil and Wade didn't notice. Stephanie was my favorite for the women early on, and I think she proved herself well here (opposite of my guy favorite, James). I meant to mention this on the last episode, but I think Mahsa secured herself a ride to maybe at least top 6 by surviving her project manager assignment. My guess for the finale is Stephanie versus Anand. Brandy, Kelly, Mahsa, and Steuart runners up.
Episode 6 "Meh." That sums up how I felt about this one. It was kind of surprising how much the guys team turned on David. I see their point, that he's not "Trump material," but that's the casting people's fault, not his. Even though he's terrible for their team, there was a lot of personal attacks. I just think they could have been more civil. My girl #2 is Brandy and I'm thinking she might get fired just for being in the background too much - hoping they show her more in the future.
Episode 7 Average episode I think, but the board room was thoroughly enjoyable. :)
Average episode I think, but the board room was thoroughly enjoyable.
Masha was fired. That made it a great episode! YouTube - it's not over Mahsa to Donald - CLEAR MY NAME! Sounds like someone is bitter.
Masha was fired. That made it a great episode! Sounds like someone is bitter.
It also sounds like someone has "evidence." There is a history with Mark Burnett's manipulation of another of his reality shows, Survivor, so what Masha is alluding to may have considerable merit. To wit: Stillman vs. SEG On report on legal proceedings in that case (which was settled and sealed) reads as follows: "Judge Dau’s attitude towards the CBS/SEG attorney was definitely not favorable towards their case. Indeed, CBS and SEG may have to start thinking about whether they want to consider settling or if they want to press on with their case, having attorneys and the judge tossing around the word “rigging” numerous times while the media passes along every allegation to the public that has made the show such a hit.
Episode 8 Was kind of surprised with the outcome. I think of the Trump brand as more classy than ***y and thought the winner looked like a one-night stand ad...which, isn't classy at all. Trump's ego disagrees with me though and thinks *** appeal is the most important, which was a pretty funny part.
Did anyone see that David is dating Poppy now? She must be crazy! So much for him wanting to win to get his family back!
So...with their fight in the boardroom and this info, my feeling was that they restrained themselves, being more factual than vicious versus each other, and the look in Poppy's eyes when she looked at David was something of him betraying her. So yeah, I think they were uh, messing around at least while the show filmed. The most shocking part of this episode was next week's preview:
They showed Clint solo 3 times, even once hanging his head. When Trump pointed and fired someone, it was in his direction. Maybe it was trick editing, but if he's the culprit...wow. Mr. Honorable, not so much. Next week should be great.

Masha was fired. That made it a great episode! Sounds like someone is bitter.
What did Mahsa say in this video? It's unavailable now.
What did Mahsa say in this video? It's unavailable now.
Something about, "This isn't over Mr. Trump. I have evidence! You're going down! Mahsa is the greatest, #1! rawr." Episode 9 Darn the trick previews. I thought Anand was the best player in the game, so it's a pretty terrible mistake to try to cheat when it may not have been necessary. It was cool that it was a Kim Kardashian-themed episode, just wish they would've showed her more...and her sisters...and Bruce...yeah. The scene in the van where Poppy and Stephanie start taking inventory of all their "great" ideas, laughing and having a great 'ol time was pretty amusing once they were in the board room. Hopefully Liza goes home next, leaving a very solid final four.
Episode 10 Well Liza is the luckiest player in apprentice history. Not saying she should have been fired this week, maybe, but how bad can you play, and how many close calls can you survive, seriously? I don't think Stephanie's idea was "logically flawed," as Trump put it. Sometimes commercials are a little absurd and ideas need to be extrapolated to fit the format. The idea that people can't focus on work because they are busy with their network phones, and a meeting is called to deal with the situation isn't illogical at all, and the over-the-top way people acted was simply dramaticizing the feature for effect. It's also interesting Trump then hires Stephanie to work for him (the whole point of the apprentice show) shows, before the season has even aired - at least he recognized her talent after all.
Part 2 of the season finale is tonight.

Yay for Brandy!!!!
I thought throughout the competition that Brandy was going to win and was happy that The Donald choose her, y'all. That out of the way, this was the most anti-climatic season of The Apprentice, ever. When it ended, I was almost in shock. "That's it?" There was no fanfare or hoopla, it just ended. No live audience. No after action report. Just done. I am almost sure we have seen the last season of the regular Apprentice.
I know, I was counting down the minutes, "When's the audience going to come in? Is there a part 3?" It makes sense though I guess, they could have argued over who's more deserving and everything, but it just seemed like, "why bother?" at that point. I think "Mr. Y'all" had a better presence and command, and could have "been a boss," as he put it, but Brandy's flawlessness, personality, and appeal to the other cast mates and younger Trumps won it for her.
Going into the boardroom, I thought Clint had the edge - he had been PM many more times that Brandi and had really sold himself to Trump to beat Steuart on a task that Steuart had won as PM to make the finals. But he was unprepared and gave a very bad answer to Trump's question about where he would work. The "y'all" is not the image Trump wants in Scotland. (much less moving his family or being away from them) Brandi capitalized, answered smartly and with vision for the future. She deserved to win. Just wish she had stepped up more in the game.
