I did mean the one on the beam in the air, as far as Kenny DQing with Aneesa, but up to ep. 5, Kenny hasn't really done anything impressive at all, aside of maybe give CT a bloody nose when they were wrestling. He didn't even try to stand up on the beam, where everyone else did. The first words shown were him complaining about it. Then, another shot of him standing around talking about how he's too pretty for it. The rest of it has been, for me, Kenny talking about himself and how good looking he thinks he is. In the scene with Evelyn and the Bad *** girls, she flipped out when they didn't let her hype herself and didn't feed her ego, so she stormed out. They didn't show anyone picking on her, as far as I saw, before that. Nobody even raised their voice to her in that and she was in badger mode. Colie just did well on the climbing mission after she and Alton were DQed, which Alton didn't perform well at all on that one when he was boasting about being such a great climber. Tonya, who everyone always gives **** to, actually won that challenge. Colie also showed herself as being a very calming influence on her team, doesn't lose her cool and is probably the most rational girl on that side. Paula also did really well so far and hasn't freaked out yet either.
He proves himself later on, in my opinion, definitely keep watching.
It's a 16 episode season or so, Kenny comes into his own after a while.
I hope so. I wanna like the guy, as a competitor, but based on this so far, Gauntlet 3, the Duel, and The Island (that was pure politics and zero athleticism and he didn't actually "win" his key). FM 2 has been the only one I've seen where he actually had some action to back all the running his mouth up.

I remember that scene when Evelyn yells at Aneesa to "get the **** out of my face" when Aneesa's sitting on the other side of the room. She looked ridiculous ranting and raving like that. And yes, this is the Duel-Gauntlet 3 era of Paula we see, she was still pretty likable back then and not nearly as annoying.

Don't think I'm trying to hype Kenny up; he wasn't great in that season. I was basing a lot of what I said off of Evelyn's blog from that season. She was the most in-depth and open about that season; it's a shame she took it down. For her part on that one mission, Colie did well, but she was responsible for losing one mission and DQ'ed on at least another mission (maybe two...I can't remember if she finished Ladder Race), and asides from that, never really seemed to do that great otherwise.

On the ladder race, she was against Jenn and they both got their ladders stuck on a piece of metal pipe, I think, or a PVC pipe. She did well on the setting things on fire one and tried to keep everyone as calm as she could. For her first challenge, Colie's doing pretty well.
I'd have liked to see Evelyn's blog about it, but I'd still take it with a grain of salt, because it's HER opinion and HER biased perspective on what happened there. Johnny's done alright so far on this season, but everything they show of Kenny isn't that impressive. Not his best season, definitely.

Only two of Evelyns blogs are up now and those are pretty new. I take everything someone says with a grain of salt and even more with whatever I see on MTV. The Inferno 3 was Evelyn's first challenge since Fresh Meat where she was in the first team eliminated. It honestly wouldn't be shocking for her version of events (being picked on) to be true.
The bedroom (Get the **** out of my face!!) scene was awkwardly edited from what I remember. One minute they're discussing who on the Good Guys team they feel comfortable going against the next everyone is harping on Evelyn for being "cocky". The progression didn't make any sense from what's shown. At the end they show Janelle (?) acting like she has a headache but in the next scene you can see her laughing where it's obviously unedited.

I'm through ep. 7 now and gotta say, someone should send Alton's *** home. If he's so hung, why not put the speedo on and get the mission done. He, Ace and Timmy ******* out big time on the grape stomp. Ace isn't even a good competitor and is Mr. DQ, so why is he thinking he can sit a challenge out and not try? He should have gone in and not Davis on the last one. Davis has proven himself so far and I'd like to see him come back for another one, but I don't know if that'll happen.
The bedroom edit with Evelyn did look a bit off, now that you mentioned it. They didn't have the smoothest transitions and it was a bit dicey, but I still got the feeling that Evelyn over-reacted. If people disagree with her sometimes, she accuses them of teaming up against her. Yet, she'll do the same thing to someone else. She's talking smack when it was, what, her 2nd challenge and she didn't do that well on FM to have earned it.

It wasn't so much about her talking smack as much as it was her being a rookie. Her role was to shut up and follow, and knowing Evelyn, it's unlikely that she was willing to play that role. Whether it was talking smack or simply discussing strategy, her team (really, Aneesa) didn't want to hear it. I just watched the third episode, and she talked about that in her blog...Ev suggests voting Susie over Paula into the Inferno, because Paula could "bring it," to which Aneesa asks if she's ever seen Paula compete. In her blog, Evelyn said that Aneesa had just finished telling the team how tough Paula had been to beat in the Duel, and it's quite possible that Evelyn had seen The Duel and had seen Paula compete. That was just one example of Aneesa picking on her, but I'm sure there were more.
I was really impressed with Tonya this season...she was actually ok with her team, and managed to keep it together even when the "Good Guys" girls were being the biggest *****es ever. I mean, really? "I hate Tonya because..." is the most mean-hearted game ever, and it's not even like Tonya did anything wrong. Seriously, Susie is such a snake in the grass.

Yeah, I don't get the whole "I hate Tonya because..." game and why Susie's running her mouth. She tries to act like she's sweet and innocent and doesn't want to be bullied, but what's she doing? She's bullying Tonya. I just finished watching ep. 10 and Tonya really has done well. It seems like, same with Paula and Robin, the amount of **** they had to swallow from people eventually got to them. That and I'm sure the partying and other things didn't help.
Aneesa always talks ****, though. The edit made it out to be the Bad ***** girls talking strategy and Aneesa not wanting to hear Evelyn (like you said, she's a rookie still) and Evelyn flipping out, yelling a lot for people to get out of her faces when I didn't see anyone move from the bunk beds and storm out. Evelyn's a strong competitor, but she's also her worst enemy, because she overestimates her own abilities and underestimates everyone else. I don't think she does well on team challenges or missions, simply because she doesn't work well with people and has trouble seeing when she's wrong or someone else has a better idea. I'd say the same thing about Danny, though he's not as strong of a competitor, as far as the guys go. That's just me and going by what they show. On this one, I'd have gone for Susie, just to teach her not to be so hypocritical.
Piggy on The Inferno finally answered on Abe's Formspring...
"Piggy....I think she was schizophrenic....and on too many medications"
"she was on too many drugs with multiple personalities....like actually nuts...not just like me"
wonder what happened, seemed normally on battle of seasons

I think at that point, she just really had something to prove and felt that she had "brought it" and should be allowed to say her piece. For Aneesa to just start talking down to her is really rude and unfair, and obviously it got to her. I don't blame her, but at the same time, if she had kept a level head, she could have kept it from getting worse. I actually give her credit for leaving and not continuing the fight. It was kind of dumb for Aneesa to call it childish when really it was probably the best thing to do.
I miss the old Johnny from the Duel, Inferno III, and Gauntlet III. I don't know what happened when the Island came on. Maybe he decided to be a jerk because of what happened on Gauntlet III.
Miz's podcast with Bill Simmons is up: he names his top 3 competitors (besides himself) as CT, Landon, and Alton.

I was just gonna post that, pretty awesome interview I might add. Love how he talks fondly about his RW/CHallenge days, gives great props to CT, Landon and Alton. Good to see he still watches from time to time..and he likes Bananas lol
He's wrong(expect for CT).
How can you say Landon isn't a top competitor? It's LANDON. Alton may have slipped up after awhile in challenges, but Landon's been consistently pretty bad *** on these things. Besides, it's his opinion and opinions aren't wrong.

He actually didn't say they were the "top 3", he just named top competitors off the top of his head. The point is, he's ignorant of Mark, Timmy, Dan(RR5), and even Theo(RR) who outperformed him on all the challenges they were on and actually outperformed Alton on the Gauntlet 1 overall.
I just listen to Mike's podcast and I liked it. It's kinda refreshing to hear someone speak positive about their time on the shows. We don't get that alot it seems.
And I loved him talk about Battle of the Seasons. One of the best challenges ever.
How can you call him ignorant when he has actually seen them perform before his very eyes while all you see is an edit. Yes Superboy we get it you are the all time greatest challenge analyst who will go on to write countless books, be on oprah and larry king because of your opinions, but if a guy who's actually been there says something I'll actually believe him over a fan who just sees an edited show.

Did you think he analyzed and compared his performances to others on the show? I bet he doesn't even know Theo outperformed him and Alton overall in the missions on the Gauntlet 1(I do because I see the times and who finished before who, as a viewer). I think he was going by who he competed on a challenge with, and who won a lot of lifesavers.

Did you not watch Fresh Meat, where Theo wasn't that great of a competitor? They won two challenges and were eliminated by TINA & KENNY. Again, you can't judge a person's OPINION as being wrong or not. It's HIS opinion. Plus, I'd take Miz's word on what makes a good competitor over a kid on the net.

Theo was strong on Fresh Meat, but it was a TEAM challenge, and Kenny and Tina beat them as a TEAM. Kenny even said Theo "is very good" and suggested him to Derrick during the RW/RR/FM draft. And i'm a VIEWER, I can see the time scores and who outperformed who more accurately.

Clearly! What he should have done is analyzed EVERY competitor that has every played in any challenge ever created, and appropriately create a scoreboard and tally up the points prior to stating HIS top 3 competitors.

CT IS better than Landon and Alton. He outperformed Landon on the Inferno 2 overall, and is a better overall competitor than Alton. That is not an opinion, that is a fact. Now I didn't say he would for sure beat them in a elimination round(he most likely would though), but as far as ranking goes...he's better.

When did I say he wasn't? Now you're just putting words in my mouth.
Please stop with this "Who's the best" conversation. You keep repeating yourself time and time again and seem absolutely unwilling to listen to anyone else's opinions, and your ignorance is doing nothing but aggravating other members.

I was just going by an example, showing that opinions don't matter when you state facts.

I am not willing to listen to anyone's opinions yes, but i will listen to facts. Tell me and show me how this competitor is better, and then i will listen. Most people are biased, and honestly flat out lack common sense.
