I never said you didn't fight hard by any means. I simply said I just wish you fought hard enough to win the gulag so we could have seen more of what you could do.
Sometimes someone is just PHYSICALLY stronger than you and you can't do anything about it except put up your best fight. I had dirt in my teeth, I was kicked in the face, and when I got home I had finger prints on my arm from being held down (which was a no no). BUT I left in good spirits and knew I tried my best.. which is why I was smiling when TJ shook my hand and gave a great interview on my exit out. I think Camila deserved to be there, and showed that she deserved to be there more than me. There are other people there that I know I probably could have had a better shot at, but you can't think about that. You just have to go home, use it as motivation to get better, and then if you have another opportunity to do another challenge, show up and 'be the best you can be.' Corny, but it's true for me. The challenge helped me build a confidence I didn't have before... which is why I said I was disappointed I didn't get to see what else was in store. And it's a shame that people in this world get joy out of trying to rip that from me. (and I'm not saying you are, I'm saying there were some rude tweets, but that's expected from being on tv haha) But the point is, I'm happy with how things went down. And I always will be.
Exactly, the way it was showed made it look like Derek got crushed, but like Emilee stated, there was a lot of throwing each other out of bounds so Derek must've put up a bigger fight than what was shown if it was that difficult for Brandon to beat him.
because it's not about showing derek or myself proving ourselves, it's about the winner of the gulag proving themselves. we're not staying - the winner is, so that is the beginning of their story line for whatever their remainder is. :)
Will you do the next 1?
This shows that editing really alters the opinions of so many things on these shows, right down to how much effort a person seems to put into an elimination.
If you say that, then you have to acknowledge the possibility that something wasn't close but edited in a way to make it look closer than it was. It works both ways.
If you say that, then you have to acknowledge the possibility that something wasn't close but edited in a way to make it look closer than it was. It works both ways.
I'm aware of that, the only reason I brought it up the other way was because it seemed like Emilee's full battle wasn't shown when I, for one, would've really liked to see it. Same with Derek for that matter. Maybe the Brandon-JD battle was a lot better than it seemed, but we'll never know until a castmember who witnessed it was to clarrify.
because it's not about showing derek or myself proving ourselves, it's about the winner of the gulag proving themselves. we're not staying - the winner is, so that is the beginning of their story line for whatever their remainder is. :)
I agree, and I realize there's only so much they can/choose to show, but say on the next challenge you compete in you go into an elimination, complete kill yourself physically but in the end are defeated, and the only thing showed on tv was you on the other end of a beatdown and then losing, wouldn't you be upset that people won't be able to see the real you? Maybe not, maybe you're the kind of person who doesn't need to have others "approve" of your performance, and as long as you know the truth it's all ok. If so, that's perfectly fine:yes:
I think you got dealt a ****** hand on this one. Your team only had one other rookie girl and she had some athletic mystique about her that no one besides Katie has said her name and we're four episodes in. Come next challenge when you aren't technically a rookie (I know you said everyone's a rookie til they win), you'll be in a lot better shape as I think you can play the social game a lot better than the other newer people. You were the only captain with a brain who made a smart first pick. Shauvon (who has done two and should have known better) was dumb enough to pick based off a dumb race and Camila picked a muffin top pathetic athlete who sucks at life (as stated by Evan). I think you'll do well next time and I'll be rooting for you. But I still hate any and all Boston area sports teams. It's in my DNA.
fought harder huh? My fight lasted a little longer, and didn't involve throwing each other out of bounds. Someone also decided to use two hands instead of one a couple of times. I had the finger marks to prove it. It didn't show what I had to prove - it showed what Camila had to prove, and that's all I have to say.
Stop making excuses, you lost fair & square after complaining for months about getting on a challenge. Hopefully next time if MTV is stupid enough to ask you again, you'll actually get to unpack your bags. Thank God for Camila!

"**** burglar" is tied with "**** knocker" for my favorite Beavis & ******** insult. Everyone, please remember that Emilee chooses to post here just the same as the rest of us. But unlike the rest of us, people will actually notice if she chooses not to post here. So how about everybody play nice, please? Some of us enjoy the interaction with the cast and don't like the fact that a few bad apples will spoil the bunch. We don't need a Josh Barnett situation on this board.
you must have not read my post above. turd burglar.
hahaha, i love that you said that!

Be glad that some of the cast members are posting here and offer some additional insight.
It doesn't seem like Emilee and Ayiiia are friends anymore. I notice she didn't select Ayiiia for her team. Never saw them interact on the dailies for the challenge, though Emily wasn't there long anyway. But most telling is on Emilee's twitter she talked about missing her RW Cancun castmates and she talked about missing everyone EXCEPT Ayiiia. They also never tweet each other anymore. Wonder what happened.

I'm pretty sure if something happened we would know by now.
I hate myself for knowing this but I have actually been on Ayiiia's formspring and from what I could make of it, it seems Emilee is still very good friends with one of Ayiiia's ex-girlfriends which probably is at least part of the issue. Obviously there is probably a lot more to it but that's what I gathered, judging from the questions and Ayiiia's responses.

Emileeeeeeee has always been pretty wishy-washy when it comes to her "friendship" with Ayiiiiiiiia (so it seems). I imagine they'll hate eachother one week and be BFF sisters the next. :p "Lesbiaaaaaannnnnsss"
For the people who continuously ask me, "will you do another challenge?" my answer is no, and this is why. When I first got back from the challenge, I did not care, and I still do not care, that I got sent home first. I wasn't expecting to stay there longer than 2 weeks. But I had this new found confidence, which was something I really needed after how this year had gone. 2010 was just.. not for me. I actually showed up at the challenge on the verge of manic depression (which is something I haven't dealt with SINCE 10th grade). So, not only did I feel pride in proving to people that I wasn't some 'dumb girly girl who was afraid to get ********,' I proved to myself that *I* could do it. Flash ahead 2 weeks. Vin comes home and tells me he's not allowed to talk to me about the challenge because the head producer told him, 'Emilee is never coming back, and if you tell her anything, neither will you.' That's great. I also found out that he said it to every single person as they got eliminated one by one. I felt really isolated, and I felt like ****. I also felt it was really unprofessional of him, and if he had a problem, he could have emailed me.. and if it was true, I'd be getting sued right now. So, I never got a response from anyone, but I did figure out what happened. When I got home, someone's significant other made it a point to email me, AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. I simply answered them because I felt bad (none of our parents, spouses, whatever knew where we were.. but this one actually did) that yes, they're fine, yes they miss you.. even though I also dealt with their ongoing, ANNOYING, questions that I couldn't even answer. it was also really erratic and crazy things like they were going to beat someone up because they had seen them on a previous show flirt with other people.. all in in all it was ******* stupid. I also think it's hilarious because another friend that does these shows, and had NO part in this challenge knew Johnny had gotten beaten up in a bar before I even got home to Massachusetts. The point is, WE ALL TALK. WE ALL KNOW THE SAME ****. Some people know more than others, some don't. I stopped asking after Vin came home. You would think someone that creates these shows would want people to leave feeling 'confident' and 'grateful' that they got to be on the show. I'm not one of those people who cry, or fight, or do **** for television purposes (which is why I look like a hag half the time.) I show up because it's a free plane ride to a foreign country that I probably wouldn't get to go to had I not been given this. I feel ******* blessed. And I needed that little thing with Camila to feel good about myself, regardless that I lost, because I got to do something most people will never do. But now, I never want to do it again. People are ******* crazy over a game show. This isn't life. This isn't the joy that you will get when you walk down the aisle and see your future husband/wife with the same joy in their eyes, or stare into your first born's eyes, or go on a sailboat, climb a huge tree, hug your Dad, paint a picture, lay on green grass during the summer and feel the sun in your face, LOOK OUT INTO THE OCEAN knowing that there is something more out there for you, and knowing you're BLESSED to even have that moment. Forgive me for being dramatic but... IT'S A ******* SHOW. WHERE YOU SCREW YOUR FRIENDS OVER FOR MONEY. WHO CARES, ITS MONEY. You don't even GET the whole AMOUNT. Challenges aren't for me. I can't screw people over. If I don't like you in life, it's because you most likely did something that broke my trust. I am one loyal ******* girl, but if you ever cross me the wrong way, I'll **** your world up, because you ****ed with mine.. but I won't be doing it on television. Because I live in the 'real world.' And when I ***** on twitter, it's just to *****. I'm most likely sitting in my pajamas, bored, or I'm out running errands and need a laugh because nothing else is going on. I could honestly give a **** less. This is the last time I'm commenting on this. That's the situation. And that second to last paragraph refers to people who have ****ed with my personal life, not with my "television" life. I could give a **** less what people think about me on those shows. Just because I'm not the TOP COMPETITOR running in a stupid "final" doesn't mean I'm not a top competitor at life.. and the people who act like it matters, need a serious smack of "reality." This negative approach about the challenge isn't towards everyone. I've made A LOT of friends, but I didn't make them on the shows, I usually made them after. I love a lot of people I've met because of it and I will always be grateful for any experience I am given in this life, but I choose to not participate in these things anymore because it's just "not me" and I don't like the stress it brings out in myself, or what it brings out in other people. The end.
[via]
I really love her brutal honesty. Always the best.
It sucks that she'll never be back, because she's perfect for reality TV, but her confidence is much mor important. I'm happy for her :)
If you negatively judge somebody's personality, and choose to based on what you see of them while on a highly edited reality television show, then you really need your own reality check. I have spoken to Emilee privately before, through Facebook inbox messages shortly after she came from from Cancun. She is a VERY sweet girl. Honestly, I'm sure most of the "bad *****" from the challenges are very cool people. But, think of your own circle of friends. Of course there are some that get along better with others, and there are some that don't. That's life, that's personalities that clash. I haven't posted on here in probably a year, but when people are being ridiculous I feel the need to comment. Likewise, I'm sure none of you "know" or "recognize" me. So let me get that out in the open right now, that I don't care if I'm a part of your "in group" on a message board. I'm just saying -- take a second to look at yourself. Sure, when these people sign up for these shows, they should expect very rude things to be said about them on the Internet, although it's something earlier Real Worlders didn't have to deal with until the Internet got bigger... But still, the judgment calls and the criticism is RIDICULOUS. It's a television game show. Think about what you're saying about these people, and realize that while the Internet provides some amount of anonymity, it doesn't hide the fact that you're still acting ridiculous, even if you pretend that it doesn't count if it's hidden on a message board or a tweet on the Internet. Respect yourself, respect others. That is all.
Jeez, this girl is SO rude to everyone on Twitter. Cara Maria asked her followers what their favorite season of Real World was......I guess a majority said Cancun and Denver were the best and DC was the worst (Completely disagree about Cancun and Denver being anywhere near the best seasons but whatever) and Emilee straight up attacked Cara Maria saying that she shouldn't put her two sense in cause she wasn't on a real season of The Real World. She proceeded to basically tell Cara Maria that she wasn't interesting enough for an entire season of Real World which just cracks me up cause 1) Other than her drunkenly stepping on that one guy's magazine and hooking up with one of her roommates I don't remember her being very interesting or memorable and 2) Cara Maria has been much more entertaining and memorable in the three challenges she's been on which feature roughly 20-30 cast members than Emilee who was on Cancun and only had to compete for camera time with 8 people. Anyway, just wanted to post this cause it really caught me off guard how rude she was when Cara Maria didn't even say anything (she was simply repeating what her followers had said). Not sure why she always seems to have such a huge chip on her shoulder and stick up her butt.....glad to hear she won't be coming back to the challenges.

Honestly, I won't miss her either.

I'd take Cara Maria over this girl any day, but that's not to say a lot.
Yeah, it seems like she's trying anything she can to stay relevant to the show and get attention. It's funny.....I just saw that Joey called her out and asked her if The Real World really is her entire life. LOL. Not a big fan of him during Cancun but good for him for hitting the nail on the head.
Each time someone rags on Emilee, I become more of an admirer.
shes so ******* hot though
shes so ******* hot though
I don't think she's unattractive, but I think it's funny that whoever was in charge of choosing cast members' pics to be posted on mtv.com for the challenges and RW, they always chose the ugliest and most unflattering pics of Emilee. iirc she even complained about it once on twitter. :laugh4:
I laughed so hard when I read what Joey told her lol " is RW your whole life?" bahahaha. I give it like a few hours before Emilee pops up on here lol and lashes out at those of us laughing lol. I see where she is coming from about the Fresh Meat cocky bunch but Cara is not one of those cocky few.
Gees they really did go nuts over nothing, and I liked Emily from DC from what I saw on cutthroat but I never watched her season either. And Emilee is such a drama queen, they weren't even talking about her season, and what are they so mad about? I'ts the viewers opinion that matters not hers.
Why won't she be back for another challenge?
