On Bill Simmons' podcast where they do their fantasy draft, there's a huge bonus if one of your castmembers commits a sex crime, the running joke since the Ruins has been that drafting Dunbar increases your chances of getting said bonus.
Bill Simmons actually set the draft up the right way and did it serpentine style. The way they drafted was so stupid. If people who knew what was going on had drafted, the team with first pick would have been ridiculously stacked. Just look at what Mark Long picked up in the draft with Derrick and Kenny. His team after five picks was Brad Laurel Johnny Jenn and Dunbar...as long as Abram and Derrick are on separate teams that squad probably doesn't lose...
I think whoever took Jenn said they took her b/c they figured she would hook up with girls and guys. Whoops.
Since I was the last post in this thread over a month ago I don't think this counts as a double post. I took a look at the nakid reality youtube channel, and saw the screencaps for a few interviews that I looked at before. Since Dunbar Merrill was in them I never watched but when I looked again I noticed Kenny was there and I figured that if anything, Kenny will make fun of Dunbar, which I can tolerate Dunbar when he is being made fun of. Dunbar had the following insights on life:
1) Brandon was the worst guy on the Red team and is a **** up and Dunbar hates him. He also had "ghetto swag" before all of the missions and then screwed them up.
2) Dunbar was the best athlete on his team. He has balance and body control going for him.
3) Tyler is a dandelion in football pads. He has no killer instinct. Also this interview is from a month ago and he says Tyler goes into 2 gulags.
3) Dunbar hates Johnny Bananas, but also does not hate Johnny Bananas. He thinks Johnny is a bad person, but is also a good person, that would be a good person, if he were not such a bad person.
4) Dunbar made a *****. I know we all know this...but I wanted to remind anyone in case they forgot. Again: DUNBAR made a *****.
5) Dunbar also confirms that Paula was never promised a spot on the boat on the Island. But keep calling Kenny and Johnny *******s for that, as pretty much everyone besides Paula with her delusion.

He got on Brad and Tori's side and kissed their butt throughout the whole challenge. He misled Paula and played friends with Chet and Tyler for a bit, no one would ever vote for him. He himself said he didn't want anybody mad at him, so he said a bunch of pretty words, and he pretty much made that team. He knew he'd get the numbers on his side and he has been in the shadows the whole time, good job Dunbar, you played your role as a dumb guy pretty well. I don't really like him at all, so don't confuse this with me praising him, because like I said, he really isn't great at these competitions.

So we're mad at Dunbar for getting the numbers to work in his favor? Evan, Johnny,and Kenny have done that on many challenges. I think their behavior has been more manipulative than most on these challenges.
I actually like Dunbar. He's not as bad of a competitor as many here are making him out to be. He does need to work on his athletic abilities though. However, the guy is very strong. Has anyone seen that you tube video where he start crunching these extremely heavy weight quickly in a few seconds? The guy is strong he just doesn't always know how to use his strength properly on these challenges. Johnny didn't throw Dunbar around like a rag doll. Johnny won as soon as Dunbar lost grip of the rope. It wasn't like Johnny jerked it out of his hands like Susie did to Kim. Matter fact Johny's team was like pull now as soon as Dunbar was in the position that he had less control of the rope. Johnny has used his friends to skate to victory on many challenges. Being a girl myself, I don't like the way he downgraded women on the Island. I don't like to bring anyone down, but Johnny is not the nicest person to grace us on these challenges.

I totally concur! That's exactly how I feel. I hope one day he figures things out.
Dunbar reminds me of Ryan. A forgettable filler character that is delusional about its own abilities. I still get a kick out of Kelly Anne's quote about Dunbar from the Ruins.

The fact that she categorized the uselessness of Casey and Dunbar into one similar tier was hilarious.
Anyone else see his final Daily clip? All he does is talk about Brad. Obsessed much? If I were Brad I'd sleep with one eye open from here on out...Dunbar is creepily obsessed with him.
