I think I'm the only one that is going to honestly miss Vinny. I have a soft spot for meatheads though. And Sarah needs to shut her mouth. Does anyone take her seriously. She's a joke.
Definitely wasn't as bad, she was the more malicious one.
By a factor of 20.
No, but I feel that there is a more respectable way to tell her how disgusting you feel she is than blantely saying it. I'm just not the kind of person that would say that to somebody, however, some people are. I would be the person to calmy talk to her about her actions, let her know my point of view and how I felt about it, instead of attacking her right back.
Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. Killing them with kindness sounds great in theory, but someone who acted as deplorably as Laurel doesn't need to be sat down and said "Now, what you did was not nice young lady." She deserves to be told spiritedly to shut the front door, so to speak. I'm all for a little trash talk, but what she did was disgusting and she needs to be told that its disgusting in plain words, even if they are a little mean. You act like a jerk, you get treated like a jerk.
I'm not sure who I like more after this episode - Brandon or Emily/Paula. Brandon holding Katie 2 feet off the ground was so, so awesome.
Derrick was on the final platform. He's behind Eric in the last shot so you can't see him, but they have 8 on their team, 3 were DQd, and when Emily's jumping you can definitely count 8 legs on the final platform (not including Emily)
I completly agree with you, people come to the challenges to make money, why do you want to keep weak people in your team.? Many people like katie because she brings drama and drunken anctics but she sucks in challenges her performance in the missions is horrible, i remember the first mission in the ruins when Wes tried to throw the mission every member of the championss did well even Tonya, and the only person who almost screw the mission was katie. Many people like Eric try to get better, they work hard to compete, they go to the gym etc, in fact in fresh meat 1 coral said that she was a bad swimer but she was training to get better before that challenge. Katie said that she is afraid of height several years ago and she hasn't done anything to get better she hasn't trained to improve her performance.

Was she screaming or crying when she had to jump off the platforms? No. Shavoun was scared Sh*tless. Just because Coral said she was training to get better doesn't mean Katie wasn't training to get better for the missions. She is 5'1. She did well. She competed and she competed in the first challenge in the ruins. An inch or 2 really help in most challenges.

I, personally do not think anyone should be treat ed badly, not Eric, and yes, not Laurel. Thats my personal opinion. My opinion on The Sarah thing is this: People on these challenges can go 3 ways; 1) Care about the challenge/ the game, do whatever they have to do to win and forgetting about who they are outside of the challenges 2) Just at these for the social aspect and free alcohol, if the game goes well, ok, but thats not the main focus or 3) Playing the game while keeping your character and helping your friends etc. I will say this, many people have chosen the first one, as in the case of Kenny, Evan, Wes, Evelyn, Johnny and the list goes on. I think Sarah just joined that, and that is her choice. As a person outside the challenges, that was not the most compassionate thing to do and we may say she's bad or selfish, but as a challenger, that was the smartest move she could make. So I'm not gonna sit down here and judge her character because she chose to go the path many other people have taken in playing this challenge Cutthroat. Hey, thats the name of the game. Everyone wants to have the best team to win the money, and she did what she had to, to get that result. May not have been compassionate, but it is smart as a challenger. All this said, I do think people judge females harder than males in these challenges. 1) People think laurel is the worse thing ever, hello, CT threatened and physically hit people and many of you still "love" him. He didn't apologize as far as I remember. Laurel was wrong, she also apologized. Didn't Johnny call Big Easy as piece of s@$# in this episode? (I think). No one said anything. 2) Many guys play these games dirty, including Brad now, who apparently is a saint still to some. People are justifying his playing the game dirty, along with JEK and others who did. Why call out Sarah as though she did the worst thing ever? She played the game the same way as Brad is trying to do: play smart to win. I'm sorry, I just don't get it sometimes.
I just watched the episode... Sarah is a big waste of air. Who gave her the right to go and talk Shavuan into quitting. I don't care for Shauvon, but she did not deserve to be treated like that either.
Watching that Laurel/Eric exchange yet again was not easy. She looked like a *******. Glad she DQ'd in the mission, serves her right. TJ gets a quitter speech! "You want respect for quitting?" and the look on his face. Then he's just like "I've heard enough." Why does Tyler look so confused when he's coming out of the plane in the intro? My DVR cut off early...was there a message for TJ and where can I find it? Brandon is coming off as very likable on this show and glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks so. He seems like a normal guy and very even-keeled compared to most of the others. He's the only one of the new FM on this challenge that I like.
Vinny's reaction to losing = not sportsman-like at all. He's just mad because the gulag didn't involve crushing rocks on your head.
Or wearing obnoxious pink articles of clothing. That might have been the worst case of poor sportsmanship that I've ever seen out of somebody after an elimination. You got beaten fair and square. Man up, shake his hand, and congratulate him. Big Easy beat you in a game that involved some agility, don't throw a tantrum and ruin the moment for him. Good for Eric for putting Vinny in his place. Glad Vinny's out of here before he can do more damage to the perception of my home state. He's a meathead and the type of guy that I hate running into when I'm out in Boston. We're not all like that, I can promise you that.
That doesn't mean she didn't train for it.
Thank you molds! Yes I did watch her performance and even if she wasn't great, she did train for it. Some girls wouldn't even attempt to do certain things when it comes to heights (Shavoun, Casey etc...) Katie did and does. I give her mad props. I don't care if she isn't amazing she still tried which is all that counts. She would never DQ her whold team, even if she dies trying.

He is like a Nick and Ace, but instead of getting out 1st on his first challenge and 2nd on his second challenge, he got out on his second challenge and third challenge.
CT actually did apologize to Adam about the incident on the Duel 2 on the aftershow for it. He seemed genuinely remorseful about it and admitted that he was not in the right state of mind to be on the show in the wake of his brother's murder. And even with that incident there seemed to be a precipitant, CT saw Adam and Diem talking and that's what set him off. Not only that but CT and Adam had a history prior to Duel 2. Laurel's verbal barrage on Eric clearly lacked a precipitant, Big Easy had done nothing prior to that to warrant her anger, and she directed at someone that she probably had only known for a week or two at the time. Big difference.

I'm new here, but I've never used him as an example of someone that acts in the correct manner. And there's a difference between being treated badly and being told bluntly that your attitude and approach sucks. Laurel does not deserve to be handled with kid gloves because she clearly has no idea how to act appropriately in a social situation. She doesn't deserve to be bullied, but she deserves to be told that her behavior throughout this season, most notably with Eric but also with Shauvon and Mandi, is unacceptable and inappropriate. And if an angry word or two needs to be hurled in her direction to get her to stop acting like a catty, petulant 5-year old, then so be it. If she's going to throw that **** out there, she's needs to take it as well. I'm not into the bleeding heart treatment of people who have no respect for what they are doing or for the people around them. Eric is part of a greater behavorial problem for this girl.
Great episode! I'm gonna point out a few highlights(positive or negative): - Ty: his fight with Katie was kinda funny, until he started talking about how he would beat the **** out of her. Dude... - Katie: I love you so much:P when she's angry, she gets a unique psycho look I've never seen before:D - Eric(or as TJ said, Medium Easy:P): I really felt bad for him when he broke down when he was talking to Dan about being bullied and not being appreciated... But for me, enough has been said about this. He performed well in the Gulag:) - Vinny: Hope to never see you back. I can't stand it when someone is that childish because he/she loses a game... Kinda reminds me of Evelyn on FM2 - Shauvon: Finally... - Abram: Tried to motivate Shauvon in a friendly way. In the end, it was no use, but I liked the way he handled the situation - Derrick: My favorite, still in the game, plays pretty much the same as on the Ruins/Island. Doesn't have to worry about going in very soon Just one more thing... Why are we getting such an extreme SARAH OVERKILL on our screens?! It's like Duel 2(Evan) all over again! Every scene no matter what, there's always Sarah to comment on the situation! I really hope she will go in very soon(not likely) and lose to someone like Katie or Camila. Her ego is growing faster than Chinese economy, ****

Brandon seems like such a cool chill dude. Like out of everyone he just seems so level headed. Not feeding into anyone's bull****. It sucks that his team does not appreciate him like they should.
I just watched the episode online and didn't see anything that they filmed for TJ.. Does anyone know if it is online somewhere? I'd really like to see it.

Tori, Melinda, and Paula would never vote in Brad. I think honestly, and I don't know spoilers, that the votes are just gonna rotate between Chet and Brandon. Even Dunbar could be thrown under the bus, but I doubt the girls would vote in Tyler or Brad.
They have 6 more missions before the finale, aka 6 more episodes, so I doubt they are coming in yet. I agree on the change of rules. After next weeks episode though, I only can remember 2 more missions they showed in the previews. I wonder if they did this so you can't see CT or Tina competing in actual missions and not just the gulaug
Next weeks the horse race one. We still have the swinging platform, riot shield, the monkeybar across the rings, the tightrope one, and then there's one more. If TJ isn't making a change in the rules, which I don't know what would change, I'd guess he's telling them that there's gonna be a huge twist later on in the challenge.

Could be setting up the story for later episodes. who knows.
I just watched the episode online and didn't see anything that they filmed for TJ.. Does anyone know if it is online somewhere? I'd really like to see it.
Believe me, its not worth finding. You will watch it and regret spending time and effort trying to find it.

Who knows.
Bottom line for this episode: Watching Katie cry was nearly as bad as seeing Big Easy belittled by Laurel. I know that the latter is in fact worse, but Katie's crying is exactly that kind of crying that really makes me want to cry, too :(
Katie's crying is exactly that kind of crying that really makes me want to cry, too :(
Her whole "I'm sad" speech just about broke my heart! I love Katie and seeing her cry was so so sad!
Yeah her crying and what she said was heart breaking, I've seen Katie on these shows since her first (The Quest), I've seen her angry, furious but crying..never.
Her whole "I'm sad" speech just about broke my heart! I love Katie and seeing her cry was so so sad!
Mhmm, and you could tell that it really did hurt her because that's what always happens when it's real pain, the person starts angry but realizes that they're also experiencing sadness/pain so they snap from anger to crying. Her "I'm sad" lines really were hard to watch, no worse feeling than the one when you know almost your whole team's against you.
Insider, you and I have different sources. In this case. mine agree with yours. Fake, fake, fake... Next Wednesday we get to see the surface tension without actually hearing what the underlying deal was. They will give us more fake stuff that will be good on camera -- tears, etc, and the producers will still have no clue about what actually happened.
I gotta say, last night Paula's anger at Johnny still seemed pretty real. This was their first challenge together since The Island.
