haha, thanks Insider ;) I have zero patience for people that are this downright cruel. We live in a society where bullies are causing people to commit suicide. People like Laurel give others self-esteem issues, confidence issues, image issues, etc. If she's going to be that ridiculous on national television and think she's not going to get flack for it, then the girl is delusional too. And this situation isn't a result of bad editing (yes, I saw the daily), and she wasn't provoked. There was zero catalyst her spewing outburst. So although I respect both of your opinions on "the high road" - the Internet wasn't made for it (lol - I'm only being half-serious here) and society, as a whole, should take people like this down. Hard. It turned my stomach. It really did.
Of course I respect your opinion as well, just keep that in mind. But is calling someone disgusting like that really any different? Obviously it's much, much milder, but the concept behind it is relatively the same, no?
You're not evil at all! I crack up every time I imagine that scene, and Kelly Anne's commentary about her own implants. I'm one of the few on here who is actually a Shauvon fan but I crack up every time I see that.
I love her. She is a horrible competitor but she has this girly girl little sister trying to be a Tom Boy quality I like.....I guess it is spunkiness.
tis episode seemed to flyyyyyy by. booooo. now we have to wait a whole 'nother week. Gahhh is anyone else sick of the Jersey Shore series finale commercials on mtx 500 million times a day ? Eww. I actually used to watch the show (first season) then decided to take the trash out. Eww.
Pacifism is the reason the Dalai Lama has no country. Sometimes you have to confront bullies in the way they understand to get them to understand. That said, I think this war against bullying is getting a little absurd. People hurt people's feelings and everybody is going to have their feelings hurt--people just need to toughen up.

"No, you're the one who's being disgusting," is that being a hypocrit? I don't think so. I think calling her out for her disgusting behavior, (as she should be) is not even in the same boat as belittling someone's physical appearance the way Laurel did. They aren't even comparable.
I think Laurel would personally want people's reactions, especially if it's negative. She wants to change, and the first step to doing that is to see the effect you have on people. I don't know what people are expecting. Turn the other cheek on Laurel's behavior or being more gentle with her actions? I believe neither will help her on her road to changing herself.

I'm just not the kind of person that would say that to somebody, however, some people are. I would be the person to calmy talk to her about her actions, let her know my point of view and how I felt about it, instead of attacking her right back.
I would pay so much money to see Shauvon and Sarah in a reverse tug of war or Push Me related elimination round.

I think this is purely a semantics issue. He said "how disgusting you are," rather than "how disgusting your actions are". I guess it's all about how you interpret it.

Like - if it was someone I knew in real life, I'd obviously give them the benefit of the doubt and approach it differently. I'd also give her the benefit of the doubt if I felt in any way, shape or form that she had any nice qualities whatsoever about her. Yea yea - I don't know her and it's only a TV show....but what can I say? I was that revolted.
I dont know if its the edit or if thats how she really is but Laurel just seems like a ***** to me. I did not like her condescending attitude last season and then this happens. I dont know the girl, never met her. But she is just way to hard and I dont know if she thinks before she speaks. Vinny and Shauvon.........do not really care. Vinny got beat fair and square. HE seems like a punk sore loser. All of that cursing was just not needed. Eric beat him. Shauvon......I get where she was coming from seeing as though her team did not want her there but quitting is just never good in my book. Katie was Katie lol. I still don't have a favorite team. Weird. Im leaning blue though

Yep. Sore losers suck at life. I'm upset too... I so enjoyed his accent. :( I was hoping he'd be my next challenge crush. I guess not.
Yep. Sore losers suck at life. I'm upset too... I so enjoyed his accent. :( I was hoping he'd be my next challenge crush. I'm glad he's gone, I've disliked Vinny since his first episode on FM2.

Probably the best episode so far. That mission looked a little too dangerous though. Did they really test and see what would happen if the whole team fell at once? Talk about potential injuries... Things I learned: MTV: cares more about "Bully Day," or whatever their agenda is, than the truth. Shauvon: confirmed once again that she is terrible and shouldn't be on the show. Sarah: +cool points for calling out Shauvon. Katie: complete psycho. Blaming the wrong person and going nuts. Brad: "It's just looking that dicey." with a completely straight face. Awesome and hilarious.
On the season preview, they show Paula and Melinda on the swinging platform above water and they both fall in at the same time an I thought THAT could potentially be dangerous, so I can only imagine how dangerous it could have been for the whole team to fall off at the same time. Liked the episode! Best one so far, but can someone please tell me what TJ's news is going to be next week?

And I actually hope Shauvon's on the next challenge for some reason...I've said it before, but she was likeable this time around, at least when she was sober. And honestly, not even joking, she actually seemed like she was in good shape this challenge and I would've liked to seen her in more missions.

It seems to me that Shavon craves attention for the camera. When she was throwing that food at Banana's did you see her look directly at the camera to make sure they were filming? Even the dailies..she just looks like she wants so much attention. You should read the hate on thedirty about her. It's hilarious.
No way CT and Tina are showing up now. TJ may just be there to let them know something will be going down though involving them being brought in.

I will never understand why people like Shauvon and Katie keep doing challenges... the only possible explanation is that they are fame *****s. Yeah I understand it's nice to go on a vacation to some foreign place and hang out with cool people and whatnot, but at the end of the day, the catalyst of the whole trip is the challenge, the competition, the prizes, the money, etc... That stuff is what brings the castmembers to the challenge... they want to win money. If you're going to agree to do a challenge knowing dang well that when it comes to the actual challenge aspect of the experience, you are going to be the worst competitor on your team, don't cry and pull theatrics when your team wants to try and get rid of you because you're standing in the way of them and the reason why they agreed to do the challenge in the first place: TO WIN MONEY. So when you scrubs get picked to go in... shut the **** up and know your role. If you're not cool with that, then take a proactive approach to the situation like Eric Banks and make an attempt to better yourself and get yourself in shape so you can actually hack it.
Lol I know townie is friends with CT, but who else felt like they were reading CT himself when townie wrote that?
Well seriously, it's moron logic for people like Katie and Shauvon to get upset because their teams want to get rid of them every challenge. If these people just cared about hanging out with each other, they'd just fly back and forth and hang out like they do all the time. There's more to the challenge experience than just the happy times and the drinking, you actually have to compete and earn your keep here and there too. That's why I don't get why people rag on guys like Evan and Kenny so much. If I was giving up 1+ month back home to go on a trip where the #1 incentive was to win a huge sum of money, I'd **** sure be doing everything in my power to ensure that happens because it's a wasted investment otherwise.
I think Katie was more ****** about the fact that she literally busted her face for her team, and they wouldn't consider other girls before her. I get not sending Emily or Jenn in..but Theresa HELLO!!
Or maybe a change in the rules.
They have 6 more missions before the finale, aka 6 more episodes, so I doubt they are coming in yet. I agree on the change of rules. After next weeks episode though, I only can remember 2 more missions they showed in the previews. I wonder if they did this so you can't see CT or Tina competing in actual missions and not just the gulaug
Well, Theresa is new but maybe the other people on the team were willing to let her prove herself a little bit before they threw her in seeing as she did make it a long ways on FM2. With Katie, she's been around on these challenges for like 7 years and is guaranteed suck, so they went with what they knew would be no big loss.
I see your point, but have to agree she wasn't as wrong this time around.
