That doesnt make it right, regardless the reason it was still shady, and btw Katie proved to be an asset on that final mission..so yeah I wouldnt mind winning a few thousand dollars with Katie.
It was right! Katie was a weak link and a quitter, why have someone like her on your team? What if she would have been a weak link in the final mission? The Road Rulers didn't know she would take out two people and be an asset in the finals, they were doing what was best for the team and themselves.
So whats the difference between Brad sending in Brandon every time? Why does that make him shady? At least he isnt throwing missions to assure Brandon goes in every time. Plus what you are arguing is what is right and wrong for the team, but you said Timmy was the only nice one so its a morality issue, and morally what team Road Rules did, including Timmy was wrong. You may be blinded by your love for Timmy or your own arrogance but morally Timmy played dirty with his own teammate just as Brad is doing to Brandon, who he also like team Road Rules doesn't know if Brandon will be asset or not to the red team during the final mission.
You guys are getting way too off-topic.
Anyways, I can only imagine how everybody's heads must've felt during this mission. My head starts pounding if I bend over to do something for a few seconds with my head somewhat upside down. The only thing the cast coulda done was somewhat position their backs so their heads weren't upside down but the amount of time they spent upside down, ouch.

And we only see an edited version, so it was probably a lot longer.
And we only see an edited version, so it was probably a lot longer.
Oh it definitely was. Plus the crew had to go around and unhook everyone after each heat so they must've had to hang there while they did that. Screw that.
I pity whoever was hooked first and unhooked last each round. Maybe Abe was smarter than we all thought lol
I agree, I mean I would hate to volunteer to sit out and look weak, but that really would put me in pain. I didn't real blame Abe's reasoning, it would be smart to sometimes have a smart person actually watching the team and helping, but that wasn't necessary in this mission like he thought.
His entire reason was good, give the new guys a chance and see how they compete. What better way than by looking from the outside, but his mistake was helping them in the strategy, if he truly wanted to see what they were made of he should've let them do it all. Abe has nothing to prove to anyone, just like Derrick, so him sitting out wouldn't cost him anything, but if he really wanted to see what the new kids were about he should've let them run with the entire ball.
I found this quite the interesting read :D

Hahah thanks for this. Love how they keep referring to Cara Maria as Pocahontas lol. And the part with Paula and Melinda made me laugh as well.
The picture captions are the best,
"Pot-kettle, *****. You’re looking a little hammy yourself. Go get rejected by Kenny some more, K?".
"Seriously, Brad was on the Real World when I was still in high school. If this were real life, his “veteran status” would be the equivalent of like a World War II veteran."
"He kind of looks like an upturned turtle who can’t get right-side-up again."
"You know you’re pathetic when you’re getting sympathy from someone who was married to Danny."
Again, thank you.

You are very much welcome. The picture captions were the BEST, I completely agree with you on that one!!! I especially was laughing too hard at the Theresa one and The Amazing Race reference.
Thing is the rookies also risk having those veterans who have experience when they get to a final. I have nothing against this rite of passage for rookies, its how it has always been.
They don't need the vets for the Final challenge. They can do that all their own.
And no this whole Rookes gotta go first **** isn't how it's "always been". The Rookies were never targeted back in the Battle of the Seasons-Inferno 1 days. They were in the same boat like everyone else. It's another reason why these challenges aren't as good as they once were. I LIKE seeing new castmembers go forth and compete on these things. So the fact that they get targeted first is something that has bothered me ever since they started doing it.

They weren't targeted during Battle of the Season-Inferno 1 days because they were all rookies with a few exceptions (Miz, Coral, Theo, Timmy,Veronica,Rachel) but by Battle of the Sexes 2 it had already started cause by then there were actual vets. Remember before Gauntlet 2's rule of vets being 3 challenges or more, the vets were people who had done a few back to back Challenges.

2 or more:wink:
But I wouldn't say it was pre-Gauntlet 2. Inferno 2 wasn't like that, nor was BotS2, I mean Brad almost made the final 3 guys and it was his first challenge. Even back on the Inferno/Gauntlet they were just trying to get rid of the people holding them back, not necessarily the new kids. The whole "rookie initiation" really started with Fresh Meat when the Austin kids came on because they felt like they were entitled to something at the house.

One of the biggest dramas on BotS2 was the rookie girls getting sent home. It gave us the infamous Ibis "bye bye" moment.
No...with the exception of Jamie, 3 or more. You are considered a veteran on your third challenge.
Yes, so if you've done 2 then you're a Vet...lol. Because when you come back to your third, you're then a Veteran. That's how I classify 2 or more. After you've complete 2 you become a Vet.
Like Brad and Derrick, they did BotS2 and the Inferno (2) and then were Vets on the Gauntlet 2. That's what I'm saying.

I read "two or more" as saying that you are a veteran on your second challenge.
I am guessing that Entropy was talking about being on your third (or more) challenge as being classified as a vet, not as having completed three challenges before being classified as a veteran.
Yeah I understand you both now. I guess it's really just how you word/take it. My apologies, but anyways, I'm still a little bit upset at the eliminations from this episode. I feel like we didn't see enough of JD and I actually liked him (from what was actualyl shown of him) so it would've been nice to see some more of him. Mandi...saw a lot of her on FM. Wish she and Jenn would've interacted again though haha.
Yeah on Gauntlet 3, TJ stated specifically "You are a vet if you have done 3 or more Challenges, if this is your 3rd you are a vet"
Yeah I think people just started taking that to heart instead of that just being the rules of rookie/veterans in that particular challenge. It was just stupid how Some of the Stale Meat was considered Veterans.
Well according to the rules of the Challenge..they were.
Yeah I know. But It was still rediculous at that point rules or not.
Yeah on Gauntlet 3, TJ stated specifically "You are a vet if you have done 3 or more Challenges, if this is your 3rd you are a vet"
I'm aware of this, what I said was 2 or more, meaning after 2 you're a Vet, which means the same are "3 or more" and you're a Vet.
Lol wasn't stating that directly at you, just to clarify. And Debut, your war against the FMers is tiring already, almost every single post you find a way to bring them up, fine we get it you hate them.

Really? I think My posts as of late don't talk about them as much.
Anyway's I think that It was very noble of Abram to vote for himself and take responisbility for that ****** plan. You don't see that often on these things.
