Was going to say Brad is just playing the game and finally looking out for himself. Cant hate him for that but hes kind of sunk to Johnny level:(. I use to hold him up high up there with people like Landon.Yeah it isn't rent a friend Brad and your there to win money but that shows your letting money get to you. Lol I also feel mean everytime I think of Mandi or see her I think of a horse because of Jenn lol. I hope Brandon starts throwing the challenges!!!.
I really don't think throwing challenges will keep him from going to the Gulag haha.

Hahah "Neighhhh, I'm Maandiiii". Thanks for that. Love Jenn:heart:
I'm really happy I'm not the only one who is starting to dislike Brad on this challenge. I've always felt he was a strong competitor, felt bad for him on thhe Duel, Gauntlet 3 I liked him still because he was with Tori, then on the Ruins I felt him changing. Not because of the fight, but even from the start. Now, he's just starting to bug me. It may be because I feel like he knows nobody on his team is gonna stand up to him, so he feels like he's completely out of everybody's eyes for going in, which may be true, but he's just doesn't seem noble about it.
Every time Mandi comes on TV my friend and I laugh about the "chicken-headed, horse-headed, Tori Spelling reject" comment Jenn made about her. It was so uncalled for and mean, but **** was it funny. We still laugh about it. NEIGGHHHH!
[strike]I want to ask the red team WHY? why not send in chet or tyler, there not stonger than brandon. im in shock cuz i was rooting for the red team but now not so much.[/strike]
People who I am not liking in this season after 2 episodes: Laurel, Brad, Theresa
People who I am liking now in this season after 2 episodes: Brandon, Tyler, Dan
Brandon is awesome as a competitor, he's kinda like the new Derrick to me. Why the Red team keeps putting him in the Gulag is beyond me. Tyler has matured and is doing well on the Challenges competition wise so far and I like how he got annoyed by Laurel. And Dan is Dan , which is hilarious, definitely one of the funniest dudes on the show in a while and I like how he stood up for Eric when Laurel was bashing him.
I'm also very shocked at Brandon. I wasn't a big fan at all on Fresh Meat 2, but this time around I'm liking him. It does suck that they keep voting him in, but would you vote in your friends over someone you had never done a challenge with before? As much at I don't want to see Brandon voted in again, I can see where the rest of the red team is coming from.
Shut up Laurel. Every line of hers in this episode annoyed the **** out of me. And that preview for next week is really not doing her justice. Easy is looking noticeably trimmer this time around, trying to better himself, and she's going to just dress him down like that for no reason? What is her problem? I'm getting sick of her elitist attitude. At least Tyler got up and left and said he refused to be around that. Though I did notice that by the time Laurel's rant was over, most of the people were out of the hot tub. Get her *** out of here.
I understand Abram's rationale, he wanted the new kids to prove themselves, but I'm not sure that was the way to go about it. He's their best competitor and best athlete, he should have been directing traffic while hanging from the ropes. It looked like the other teams were drowning his instructions out, but it was hilarious watching him flip out on the sidelines.
Brandon, I feel for you bud, but you got put in a bad spot. Brad, Dunbar, Tyler, and Chet on your team. Hopefully they'll shake things up soon enough, because I think Brandon is a bigger asset to their team than Chet is. He has the misfortune of being the newest guy there. If he were on the blue or grey team, he might not have been considered yet. It really doesn't look good for Brandon, especially now considering that he's likely lost a vote in Mandi. I'm hoping that eventually they'll send Chet, Tyler, or Dunbar in instead of him, because those 3 still really haven't proven **** on these shows.
I noticed that at one point Brandon said "don't **** on my back and tell me it's raining". Haven't we heard that line from Ace on a prior Challenge?

I agree. I was pretty neutral about him on FM2, now he's just working his way up on my list. Not only because he proved himself in both episodes, but he's taking it respectfully. He's not yelling about how things are going down, he's calmy confronting people about their decisions which makes him a good guy.

Derek & Emilee performed way better than JD & Mandi in their elimination rounds.
It wasn't that Derek performed better, it's just that he got a better chance at actually winning. JD and Derek both looked like they gave it their all but JD had no chance at all because of the size difference. It didn't matter how bad he wanted it, that wasn't gonna happen. Pretty unfair duel but it isn't the first time.
Mandi and CM however seemed like a pretty fair match up for that duel.
This not being able to watch the episode till the day after on mtv.com is starting to suck :(. I did see the preview and wow, I lost all sense of respect for Laurel in that minute of video. I always though on FM2 she was treated badly by the other girls, and I didnt notice any ego episode 1 apart from the usual we get from almost everyone these challenges, but wow to treat Eric that way was sickening to watch.
@fabulous788 Yes your right I wouldnt vote my friends in over someone I didnt know. I can also see where the Red team is coming from theyve all lost challenges and are hungry theyve been screwed over many times. Still dosent make it right to throw a new person in every time at least give the kid a break let him sit one out. Its like that saying two wrongs dont make a right. Brandon besides being new dosent really deserve that treatment at all. If money wasent the number one thing to them the Red team could of said lets take turns and rotate or lets at least give him a break and send him in next time. It is a game yes and its a dirty game but it is also to possible to play a clean game( e.x Landon).

Because Dunbar is the expert at who is and who isn't a competitor he is what 0-2 in eliminations, 0-3 in Challenges, and he got a key handed to him on the Island.

I agree and I don't think it's right in the slightest. It seems as if the clean game is far gone out the window for anyone on the challenges now-a-days.

ROFL !! You're right, Dunbar is a freaking loser !! I bet Brandon would school his ***.

Yeah well I guess I can see where Brad's coming from, having gotten the ****ty end of the stick a few times, even on his first Challenge, BOTS2, where he should have been there at the end over Eric and even Theo acknowledged that. Brad seems to be the de facto head of the red team, but it's not like he's trying to backstab anybody or be deceitful, it's just that the way his team is constructed, Brandon is the only male he has yet to do a Challenge with, so he doesn't really have a connection with him yet. It sucks for Brandon, he just got unlucky with the team he got put on. I hope Brandon has shown enough to his team now, but I'm thinking that barring a colossal ****-up by Chet, Tyler, or Dunbar, he'll probably get thrown in again

**** this post just made my looong day so much better. Thank you Molds. And I'm not a Dunbar fan, so usually I'd go along with the others about his not really being able to judge others, but that was too funny. Now if it were other people saying this about Brandon (Johnny, Derrick, Brad, Jenn) I'd be skeptical about Brandon, but right now, I think he's a pretty good competitor.
OMG !! I seen that on Brandon's Twitter !! He is my favorite castmember for now, by far !! That pic is cracking me up, LOLing to tears.
That's because I sent it to him ;)

You should send this one to Dunbar while you're at it.

Dunbar didn't have to go in at all, Brandon went in twice.
The better player in this case is Dunbar, point blank.

People like to recycle sayings and lines on these shows. Balls to the wall, balls out, chopping block, trim the fat... all lines used over and over and over and over...
and over...
and over...

What does your team being ****** and putting you in the Gulag have to do with not being a better player ? Dunbar sucks, period. History agrees with me.
He is playing the game very well to where he may not even have to go into the gulag, Brandon is not. The point is to make it to the end. You won't get to the end if you don't screw people over. Brandon needs to get over it.

Yeah, but in this case Brandon could play the game as good as he can and it wouldn't matter, he could still be put in. He's only being put in because hardly anybody on the Red team knows him and he's basically a Rookie. Putting in Brandon over Chet or Tyler, especially Chet is absolutely rediculous. Brandon has a lot more to offer to the team than either one of those two and even Dunbar.
