This is a terrible idea. If I have to watch Russell one more time, I think I'm going to vomit. Or maybe even stop watching Survivor - and that's something I never thought would happen.

I never thought it would happen, but it's a HUGE possibility if this does in fact happen.
That's the same thing I was thinking. I never thought it would happen, but it's a HUGE possibility if this does in fact happen.
I agree - I don't think I could stomach another season of Russell.
It gets worse... Missy suggested that Russell and Rob will be tribe "mentors," have immunity til the merge, at which time they join the game as full fledged players. The ONLY thing that would have made this season remotely tolerable would have been if Russell was the first boot.
According to missy, Rob and Russell flew into Miami and stayed overnight last night (like the cast of season 21 did) and flew to Nicaragua today. A guy who appears to be a small plane pilot in Houston wrote on Russell's wall last night at around 10pm saying: "Hey, it was cool meeting you today! If you ever want to learn to fly, let me know!" Perhaps CBS hired a small plane rather than having Russell travel through major airlines to keep things on the downlow.

It might allow Russel to make it far as he'll probably promise tribe members safety after the merge. I suspected since the season centered around them, that they would have immunity up to a certain point.
These people would be stupid to not vote Russell out as soon as the merge occurs. If they don't do that then they are complete idiots.
These people would be stupid to not vote Russell out as soon as the merge occurs. If they don't do that then they are complete idiots.
Why? Russell has been in the final twice and lost miserably both times. I would keep him around knowing that he won't get a jury vote.
Why? Russell has been in the final twice and lost miserably both times. I would keep him around knowing that he won't get a jury vote.
You never know... third time could be a charm. The stupidity of reality show contestants never ceases to amaze me.
Why? Russell has been in the final twice and lost miserably both times. I would keep him around knowing that he won't get a jury vote.
I just don't like Russell and would want him out as soon as possible :D
I say this now and hope that I can stick to it... This may be the end of Survivor for me.
I say this now and hope that I can stick to it... This may be the end of Survivor for me.
I've started saying that about a lot of shows, but I never stick to it. I just can't take my eyes off the screen no matter how boring or unentertaining it is.

Then after the merge hits, Russell will have 1 immunity idol per tribal council, Rob will win individual immunity every time, and then at the final 4 when there are no HII's, Rob decides to bring Russell to the final 3 because he's the perfect goat. In the final 3, a newbie gets somewhere between 5 and 7 votes, Rob gets 2 to 4, and Russell gets 0. I will not be remotely surprised if that is how the season turns out.
If I this dreadful rumor is true, I suppose i'm Team Rob...

Then the reunion show, Russell will cry because he's now lost three times and maybe will FINALLY realize that he sucks at this game.
That sounds true. I don't think he will ever win survivor, because he won't have the votes.
Because he's a **** to everyone. The fact that he has now played this game with 38 (I think) people and is only friends with one of them proves that he is a ****** bag in real life too. You could tell at the HvV reunion show, that everyone despised Russell.

Call me if Rob wins, and I'll actually watch the finale.
Sounds about right. Then the reunion show, Russell will cry because he's now lost three times and maybe will FINALLY realize that he sucks at this game.
Then I'm sure he will declare that he's the best player ever to play the game and then proceed to claim the rights to Sole Survivor.
Who's the one person he's friends with? James?
That's the only person I know of that is friendly with Russ....
Nope. Natalie from Samoa. He mentioned it in one of his interviews during HvV. I find it funny too because he bashed her so much after Samoa wrapped.
Oh I'm kind of suprised, as I know he kind of knew James before Survivor.
Oh I'm kind of suprised, as I know he kind of knew James before Survivor.
He might be friends with him too, but I read an interview when they asked who he's still friends with and he said, "I'm friends with Natalie. That's it."
According to guatemalafanfic on Sucks (who has had some miscellaneous insider info in the past), filming on season 22 began yesterday. But there has not yet been much confirmation that it is in fact RvR.
I don't care what anyone says, Russell was a great, if not the greatest Survivor in the history of the show. That being said though.....I am definately NOT looking forward to a RvR season. Talk about over doing it....

Survivor Samoa Russell did very well for himself but has no sense of a social game whatsoever, which makes him NOT the greatest player to play the game.....actually not even close to it. Survivor HvV Russell, the game was rigged for him....no doubt. From him giving his HII away for Parvati? when he wasnt even sure if he would be going home or not was ridiculous you know he had some inside info on that situation. So in that game he sucked, he was NOT the best player in THAT game or EVER on the show. I understand people like him for some reason but just because you like him doesnt mean he is the best player. GET OVER IT RUSSELL IS NOT THE BEST PLAYER THE GAME HAS EVER SEEN, OBVIOUSLY NATALIE, SANDRA AND PARVATI ARE BETTER AT THE GAME THAN HE IS. With this being said, Survivor 22 is going to be stupid. This I know for a FACT.
The only people that like Russell are the casual fans who don't understand how the game of Survivor works. "Boo! The jury was bitter!" Well guess what? The jury was bitter because Russell had a ****ty social game! He talked down to all of them so why should they vote for him? He called Rupert a dumb *** for crying out loud!

I've been watching since Survivor: Australian Outback and I very much do like Russel.
I enjoyed watching Russel, but only the first time. I absolutely HATED him during the first half of Samoa, but about halfway I really started liking him and it was really great television having blindside after blindside. I never wanted him to win though, so I took pleasure in watching him lose. I like seeing people who are totally cocky, lose. What can I say? When I heard he was doing HvV I was somewhat excited, but I was always a bigger Rob fan, so right away I was against him and once again took pleasure in watching him lose. I just think they are over doing it with Russell. I'd personally rather not see him again.
