Occupation: Medical Student at University of North Carolina Personal Claim to Fame: Becoming the second and fastest female amputee to finish the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2007. Inspiration in Life: My father who was recently killed in the earthquake in Haiti. He was there with Food for the Poor to bring hope and aid to people less fortunate. My dad was a doctor, a teacher and a humanist. I most admired him and looked up to him for his willingness to help others. He lived his life to the fullest every single day. His legacy will be carried on by all of the lives he touched during his life. Hobbies: Triathlons, cooking and traveling. Pet Peeves: When people chew ice or blow bubbles in an otherwise quiet room. 3 Words to Describe You: Determined, persistent and strong-willed. SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: Christy Smith because she also faced a physical disadvantage that, in the end, gave her additional strength. I also relate to Helen Glover's no-nonsense-appeal as that is how I approach my own life; with a no-nonsense attitude. Reason for being on SURVIVOR: The challenge and the competition; I also want to honor my father who has been a strong influence in overcoming many of the challenges I've faced as an amputee and in life. Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: I'm physically and mentally strong. I've overcome obstacles before when the odds were stacked up against me and I can do it again.
One of my preseason favorites. Sounds smart, athletic, and is pretty. Kelly gets the Molds
She's cute! That's such a shame about her father, but hopefully she can make him proud this season. This girl is also one of my favorites along with Chase and Yve. GO KELLY GO!
I like this girl!!! She has many reasons to keep her determined.
I like her too! She's one of my pre-season favorites already!
[strike]i like her! early fave. hope she does well[/strike] I like her! Early favorite. I hope she does well.
well she's just adorable... :give_heart2: I only hope she ends up being adored for her charming personality and ability to (so far) be humble as opposed to people feeling sorry for her for the horrible things she has endured... She seems to have many endearing qualities and most likely doesn't need a sympathy vote... she gets my props for being down to earth and cute as a freakin button :tender:

I hope people don't think she's pulling a Russell either (aka completely full of ****)
I could see this girl getting the Stephenie edit. Not that that would be a bad thing by any means.
Love her already!
I could see this girl getting the Stephenie edit. Not that that would be a bad thing by any means.
Palau or Guatemala? Big difference.
Palau because that's when she got the hero edit. I don't know who actually liked the Stephenie edit in Guatemala.
She should have stayed. Marty should have gone home. She seems really nice and like she gets along with people, why keep someone you don't necessarily care for?
