Challenge Interesting Facts

Didn't Nick break his hand on the Duel 2? I didn't watch the beginning so I don't know. Also, wasn't Coral bitten by a spider? I didn't watch whatever season that was either, but I saw people talking about it.

Trishelle fell of a bike, if you want to count that even though it wasn't during an actual challenge. And Jeff dislocated his knee on FM2.

Mark and Coral said so on the Inferno 2 Aftershow and in early episodes you'll hear the red team chant "Old School." The teams were meant to be divided so seasons 1-10 were Old School and season 11-15 were new school. However, you'll notice that there is a shortage of guys that fit the old school criteria. At the time this challenge was being filmed, Dan (Miami) wrote in his blog that he kept getting calls to do this challenge. It was also heavily rumored that Eric N. was being asked (I believe this was said by a cast member, but I could be mistaken). Whatever the cast may be, they couldn't get enough old school guys. So, they had to change the format last minute, resulting with Jaime being a rookie. Again, this is just a theory. I could be entirely wrong, but I was following the spoilers at the time this cast we being developed.

But wasn't Jo a Rookie on that season, though she left really quickly? And wasn't she on one of the first RW seasons?

Veronica sprained her ankle on BOTS1 Elka hurt herself on the Gauntlet, I believe it was her ankle (remember the Doctor's note?) Derrick got his ear hurt by Landon on Inferno 2 Ashli hurt something on The Island (don't remember what, maybe ankle?) Landon hurt his shoulder on Duel 2, even though it wasn't shown on TV. And I don't know if you want to include Brad's eye injury from his fight with Darrell on The Ruins (EDIT: or actually all of the other injuries from fights like Davis from CT on I3, etc.)

Ashli cut her toe really badly on The Island. Also, it wasn't shown on TV, but in her blog Evelyn said that when she slipped on that climbing wall in FM 2, she cut her knee badly and has a big scar now.

Jo was a rookie because that was her first challenge. Susie was rookie because that was her 2nd challenge. Jamie was wrongly placed on the rookies team and it was admitted to being a mistake but he said that he goes with the flow.

She replaced Puck. Also, didn't the last 10 teams on Battle of the Seasons get Montuzema's Revenge? Syrus's knee was busted (I am not sure if it was during a mission, or before he even came onto the challenge) on the Inferno I. I remember his team helping him get under a rope, in the final mission, the 7 deadly Sins.

I was reading Melissa's blog, and I don't think she was joking but she might have been, but when Veronica gets stuck, all the girls are screaming at her, and then Emily has an interview where she says, "All the girls are screaming at Veronica to hold on and do well" or something like that. According to Melissa, they edited out the part where she said, "...EXCEPT ME!" and laughed.

These shows start to run together after years and years of watching. I recently watched Gauntlet 3 to start catching up on what I missed, and didn't realize I'd seen it before until Melinda got hit in the head with the plank. Even then, I really didn't remember anything other than the final mission. That was only a few years ago.

Well I watched Battle of the Sexes online fairly recently, so...

Yeah I barely remember Melinda getting a concussion.

Dan and Tara 4. Josh and Holly 5. Sean and Elka 6. Danny and Kelley 7. Mike and Coral 8. Becky and Norman Lamb Chop!!! is right... on one of the episodes of Battle of the Sexes (either the 3rd of 4th episode) most of the girls got their period at the same time. Anne had the worst symptoms. She was bended over in bed, crying. I remember that, because of Genesis's quote, "you want to know what **** feel's like, try living with a house full of girls on their period, because that's ****"

I just watched that episode a few days ago (in Battle of the Seasons). Timmy and Emily were both sick, and another team was too. I think Becky was sick too?

Challenge seasons 1-4 have credits all under a minute.

Brad and Robin have been on 6 challenges together. I was looking back and I think this is the most of any two people.
