What Laurel said was completely childish and uncalled for, she threw the first stone out of nowhere in that argument.
I would also say that calling someone names like an amazon freak is also quite childish.
What Laurel said was completely childish and uncalled for, she threw the first stone out of nowhere in that argument.
Her whining and crying about Carley winning is a lot like somebody like LeBron James whining because he didn't win a championship this year and Luke Walton or Glen Davis did. Team is team, you win as one, you lose as one.
Thank you. I totally resent the fact that people say Landon 'carried' Carley. No. She didnt just sit there and let Landon do all the work. Yeah she wasnt as strong as Laurel. but when she was slacking , Landon didnt curse at her, he legit egged her on and pushed her. Thats not carrying IMO. Landon and Carley worked AMAZING as a team throughout this entire challenge. Laurel is just a 3 three year old. Whining like a little brat that she lost. Like when Ryan said ' The only one who should be cocky is Carley since she won' and EVERYONE clapped except Laurel. She put a thumbs down. Like how juvenile is that?? I get it. Laurel is strong. We all get it. But to constantly bring someone down just because you came in second is so juvenile to me.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander... Carley would've never called her those names had Laurel not taken the low road first. She is an arrogant, jealous sore loser... that simple.

Two wrongs don't a make right, either.

Okay Carely Pwned Laurel. Plain and simple.
Kenny once again shows why I don't like him and never will. First off he talks about how everyone goes on these shows to be famous. No Kenny YOU go on these shows to be famous and guess what YOU WILL NEVER BE FAMOUS! that 7-11 commercial is not going to take you anywhere. Period. Oh and his stupid little threats....All of that is just empty words.
Evelyn...I still don't like her and I don't like how everyone was talking about how Luke didn't care. Did it ever occur to them that maybe Luke is more laid back and does't make these challenges life or death? did that ever cross there Minds?
Good to know that Noor is Indian.
For your information, I've always liked Landon, but I think Kenny and Laurel dominated this season and that they deserved to win more. Landon played politics this time and it got him to the finals. So in essence it seems to me like he kinda sold out for $100,000.
I'm just trying to clarify something. Just speaking on making finals, if we are going to go by performance only in the season, then wouldn't Landon and Carley deserve to be in the finals because they won two missions during the season? That the second highest amount to Kenny and Laurel. After Kenny and Laurel, who else would be more deserving than Landon and Carley to be in the finals?
I get what you are saying about thinking Kenny and Laurel deserved to win, though.

Well, Luke/Ev were just a bad match competitively speaking. I'm sure Luke did care about winning/loosing, but his laid back attitude made it seem otherwise. Ev having to carry the majority of the weight during those Exiles and Luke being the one to ask for rest stops, even though he's the guy and is suppose to be stronger, I'm sure ****** her off even more than his laid back style. She should be paired with someone like Landon, Wes or even Kenny. They would match her competitive spirit.

They're all alumni...I think her and Noor or Pete would have been a great match-up, especially since Pete is likewise super competitive.
Ev wasnt even supposed to be on this show. She came in late.. and she got what was left over. She needs to calm down. It could have been a lot worse. Remember her appearance on the original FM?
I don't like when they do these reunion shows and about drama somebody had with another castmember and only one of them is their to tell their side of the story. Ev looked pretty lame last night taking some more cheap digs at Luke when he wasn't even there to defend himself.

It's not like she beat Luke up or anything. Luke's a big boy. He should've competed like one, then maybe they would've won.

Good point Man good point.
Luke did the best he could. He's not superman.
I agree with Insider, too. Things are not always going to go how you want it to in a partner challenge.
Landon didn't get to pick his partner, either, but he worked with who he had the best he could.
It's not like she beat Luke up or anything. Luke's a big boy. He should've competed like one, then maybe they would've won.
Or they could've done the puzzle. Then maybe they would have won.
One surprising thing to me was the graphics for the Reunion used the old MTV logo that they have phased out with the full M and the words "Music Television".
BMP also seems to use it for the fishbowl logo at the end of its shows. This reunion show though was created months after the new logo was implemented.
The puzzle they skipped was the one that you had to guide the marble through the maze, right? I don't think that would've taken 5 minutes to do.
Didn't they Ev and Luke only lose by 2 minutes? I don't think they could've done the puzzle in 2 minutes though.
Didn't they Ev and Luke only lose by 2 minutes? I don't think they could've done the puzzle in 2 minutes though.
I think it was about 2 1/2 minutes.
I think had Ev and Luke stuck around and done the puzzle, the result could have been extremely close. It was clear to me that Ev and Luke were both in better shape than Carley and could have made up some real ground.
But...they didn't. And it's over. Oh well.

I totally agree! Truthfully, I think Carley performed alot better than Laurel last night, which explains why a 2 min lead turned into a 5-10 minute victory. They were way ahead of Kenny/Laurel on that mountain, and Landon didn't carry her up it. Laurel simply does not have the endurance and faulted, even stopped many times during the Final Challenge.
Laurel was outright distasteful last night, and every reactionary comment she got from Carley was warranted for trying to downplay Carley's effort. The fact is is that Laurel lagged behind last night. The canoe race Carley and Landon won outright, and Carley pulled her weight more than Laurel did imo otherwise, her and Kenny would have had the 2 min lead. Also Carley was working harder because she had to keep a more torrid pace because Landon was her partner, and Landon is a beast.
Laurel is a good competitor, but again, she is no Evelyn or Aneesa (who excels head to head when it counts). The fact is Carley deserves the mone more than any other female there sans Evelyn. The girl competed in 2 exiles, yet she faultered in the second one. The 3 challenges that Landon/Carley won were because Carley made a significant contribution. Kenny/Laurel won 4 challenge. That's not dominate imo.
I'm very happy with the way Wes presented himself. Also, it's clear it wasn't a puzzle that made the difference with the outcome, or the two minute lead. Landon did not "literally" carry Carley up the mountain either.

Drunk? That's how he presented himself in my opinion...

Evelyn made the right decision. Her only mistake was not knowing how close the puzzle was to the finish line. She asserted herself quite well last night and was spot on about the Luke situation although it would have been nice if he was there to have a say as well.
I like Jillian and think she got a bad edit, but she shouldn't be so quick to jump on the Laurel bandwagon after last night. I'm glad Theresa or Jenn mentioned that Carley was the best female on FM2 because she won 1st place. That was funny when Ev/Laurel/and Jillian were back and forth on who the best female was.
Drunk? That's how he presented himself in my opinion...
Hahaha drunk and confused - though it seems like they edited out a lot of his rants at Kenny, etc. too.
I did at least think he was pretty respectful to Kelly Anne when he said he shouldn't have behaved how he did on camera, etc.
The editing was so weird too. Like someone would be talking and you could clearly see that the person wasnt done and then all of a sudden we would cut to Maria?? So weird. How was it for the people who were there?
[strike]read a the thread, the ones who went said what was cut, and what wasnt.[/strike]
If you read the thread, the ones who went said what was cut and what wasn't.

(Disclaimer: I haven't seen the final episode or reunion yet, so all I have to go by is what I've read here)
From what I've read, the producers did not (and have not in any past Challenge) just hand Landon the money and declare him the winner; he and Carley were the first team to cross the finish line. Without outside intervention, the only possible deserving team in any Challenge final is the team that actually put in the most work and WON, because winning is based on performance, NOT qualifications. Laurel is nice to look at and I won't complain about seeing her on any future challenges, but she is wrong about calling herself and Kenny more deserving. Landon did a lot more to win this Challenge than Kenny and other individuals have done on some past Challenges, in terms of working a muscle group other than their mouths.
