2010 MTV Movie Awards
Aziz Ansari hosts the 19th annual bash at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA. "The Hangover" leads the pack with 6 nominations, followed by "New Moon" and "Avatar" with 5 each. Red carpet with the cast of Jersey shore starts at 8 EST. Awards start at 9 EST.
I love Betty White. :D
It is a good show. Is anyone watching?
It is a good show. Is anyone watching?
On a night when hockey and basketball finals games are on? Not a chance.
I'm watching. I lol'd when Russel Brand and Jonah Hill kissed on Cam.

**** YOU BP!!
OUCH!! They let the F word slip through
OUCH!! They let the F word slip through
When? I think I missed it. EDIT: nevermind.
**** was said twice and **** was said once.. Someone is getting fired tonight.
Make that like 8 times. 2 hour delay for the VMA's i guess.
lmao at the twilight speech they [strike]slipt[/strike] slipped like 4 "F" bombs. What is MTV doing? Aside from that, really? Twilight won everything! This is stupid... No surprise I didn't care for it last year.

Peter Faccinelli is probably now the person to get past the most F bombs in the history of MTV. Way to go!
On a night when hockey and basketball finals games are on? Not a chance.
OMG that was an awesome game!!! Go Hawks!! I know, i'm off topic:)
Twilight deserved to win, everything else except The Hangover was crap!! And LMAO at "Carlisle" using the f bomb over and over and over haha

Epic fail.
Yeah Hangover was garbage, but was Twilight better than Avatar and Alice in Wonderland? I think The Blind Side should of been one of the nominees and it should have won.
The F bomb was dropped so many times. Peter Facinelli said it so much and so fast they couldn't even bleep it, they kept bleeping the words after. I really liked the tribute to Sandy B.
The actual awards are turning into a joke and everybody there knows it. You can see it on their faces. It's almost like every time Twilight won, the entire crowd (minus the screaming teenage girls) just rolled their eyes.
After reading the reviews, I'm glad I didn't waste my time even pressing record on my DVR.
I agree Buck, even the cast of the Twilight didn't seem to care they won. I want to see what happens when Twilight: Eclipse wins next year :)

I enjoyed the show. It's not the Oscars. It's more a "pop culture" type of award. The show is more laid back and fun. I enjoyed the host and his **** BP song. lol Did anyone see the year Jack Black and JT hosted? That was pretty good.
Didn't see it because as usual for me, it's impossible to hear about anything upcoming because I never watch commercials. (I tend to miss a lot of stuff that way such as the odd After Shows for RW challenges and such). I noticed MTV didn't have it scheduled for a repeat viewing in the next several days so I guess I won't get to see it, but I am happy to hear about all the F bombs getting through (I won't expound further because that's an off-topic subject).
This awards show used to be a refreshing switch from the oscars. The winners were usually solid movies that were popular with the younger crowd yet still well reviewed by critics. Scream, Seven, The Matrix, etc. Twilight has virtually ruined the credibilty of the whole award show. New Moon wins best picture over Avatar? What a joke. I didn't love Avatar or anything but it almost won the academy award and was immensely popular among ALL moviegoers. And the actors winning too? It's not who the most Tweens have a crush on it's who was the best ACTOR! Just rename the show The Twitard Choice awards because with Eclipse next year and then 2 years of breaking dawn that's all your gonna see.

Don't we already have a Teen Choice Awards on another channel somewhere?
Loved the fact that Anna Kendrick won Best Breakthrough for "Up in the Air". Also loved seeing Ken Jeong winning Best *** Moment. Those are really the only two awards that I can say went to the ones who deserved it.
Exactly right. Don't we already have a Teen Choice Awards on another channel somewhere?
Yep. I was confused as to why this was aired on MTV and not Nickelodeon. :unknw:

I think that would have to do with all the F-bombs that were dropped, Cystic. ;)
Of the whole show I only like the Sandra Bullock segment, it was pretty emotional watching the clips towards the end of her little presentation but I also laughed with Betty White. She is sooo cute and funny :D
