He was 74. Hopper died Saturday at his home in the Los Angeles beach community of Venice, surrounded by family and friends, family friend Alex Hitz said. Hopper's manager announced in October 2009 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I know that he has been sick for some time, but this was still shocking news to me. Very sad, and I wish the best for his family.
was a legend. Knew this was coming, sorry for his family. Heard his cancer he had was extremely painful so I guess now at least he isn't in pain.
It's sad that he was so sick before he died. My prayers are with his family and friends. R.I.P. Mr. Hopper...you will be missed.
R.I.P. I loved him in Boiling Point with Wesley Snipes and I remember he'd be battling cancer.
This is sad indeed. I had to look him up again because I thought it was Dennis QUAID who had passed and not Hopper. Wasn't he sick for a while?
RIP Dennis... My favorite scenes with him were in True Romance
