I really hope Tori keeps her head in the game this season cause she has all the potential to win. She's a great competitor and has proved that she has what it takes to win. I'm glad her and Brad are on the same team, cause hopefully that means she'll HELP him win!!! Haha.

What exactly has she done to show that she is a great competitor? She beat Melinda in ball brawl on Gauntlet 3, but lost to Aneesa on Duel 2, and did not win a single challenge on the Duel 2. That is not a very impressive challenge resume in my opinion
I think BMP is testing JEK individually Evan passed by winning the Duel 2, Kenny has basically passed as well by making it far on Fresh Meat 2, but now it's Johnny's to prove himself.

Tori was pretty good on Road Rules. I also thought she was one of the stronger girls on the rookies team on G3. On Duel 2, the only people winning missions were Landon, Brittani, Mark, Rachel, and Evan, really. Perhaps Tori isn't an astonishing competitor, but she's shown something and seems to be up there these days in terms of the better female competitors on the show.
I'm really, really hoping we'll see a more chilled out, fun version of John on this one. I am very glad they have given Kenny and Evan a break on this one. It will be interesting to see who will be the power players in this one.

People are sick of all the old faces like JEK, Paula, Ev, Wes, etc but when BM actually brings in people who haven't competed very often it is ridiculous. I don't get it.

Well they have to have some standard -- It's hard to believe Frank and Jamie (although BMP effed up with him) were rookies. I remember everyone was all W.T.F. around Gauntlet 2, when Derrick, Robin and Brad were all considered "veterans" already. Nobody's ever going to be completely happy with the teams, but they have to have a clear-cut distinction somewhere - at least these rules, as well as the Ruins, are more cut and dry and objective over the Inferno subjective good guys v. bad *****. Those teams are completely arbitrary.

I never said there was anything wrong with them being on the challenge. I want fresh faces. You got it all wrong, I only complained about how BM labels people as veterans too soon when we haven't seen them too much on a challenge.

I completely agree, "veterans" should be chosen based on performance, rather than how many challenges they've been on.....Fresh Meat had to go through the combines...so should everyone else...that would get interesting....
As for the vets..especially if its a gaunlet..your always gonna need familiar faces..regardless if its kenny, evan, johnny and to some extent katie, eric, brad..because they are what bridges the cap between old fans and new fans, plus you need people who've been there to stir up the drama..there is a reason they are stuck in that house without communication for days on end, BMP knows it causes drama. If it was like before where they had phones, tv, could go out..I bet half the drama we see wouldnt be around.

I am glad I am not the only one excited for the Cancun cast but only if Bronne and Jonna were there to complete the cast Since CJ had his shot and I don't think Joey is interested.
The guys are just meh, but the girls are a very interesting bunch. The only fresh meat II people I'm happy to see though are cara maria....oh wait, she's it. I would rather see Noor, Sandy, Pete, and Carley than the ones they picked except Cara Maria.
It's weird having two Dereks and two Emilys though even if they are spelled different.

I don't think it will be a big deal to have people with the same named. Plenty of seasons have had it before. They usually just refer to the person with their last initial.
There are some people I am really excited to see on this challenge. Like I wonder how Melinda will do, because she has always been on a challenge with a lot of Austin kids, and I've never really seen her be friends with anyone else on this challenge.
Also having Brad and Tori here will be interesting. It's been a very long time since we've had a married couple on the same team. I think the two of them will be in the stronger half of the team, but will people want one of them gone because they don't need two portions of the prize money?
I also wonder if this will be the Gauntlet 4? Yes, we have a good enough mix to have half rookies half vets, but the hour long format with a reduced number of challenges could mess up the format.
I never saw Cancun or DC, heck.. not even Brooklyn so I can only talk about the people I actually "know". This could be a fun challenge but I hope that's not a Gauntlet.
Just wanted to say I love this cast. It's a great mix of people I like with people I strongly dislike, with very few that I'm like, meh.
I'm most interested in seeing how the Cancun and D.C. people do and ...CHET! Maybe he won't get sent home first.
