Honestly, I like the cast. It's not as terrible as people are making it out to be and there are deffinetly some people in there that should stir up some drama and others that I think will be good athletic competitors.
I don't really understand what people are expecting in terms of "veterans". People move on with their lives. For the guys, I would consider both Brad and Derrick to be veterans. Theres alot of new blood on the girls side and I think that's a good thing. All I know is I'm going to watch either way.
I am excited to see how Johnny does without Evan and Kenny though. Hopefully Brad can finally win one as well.
I keep seeing how people are up in arms over the fact that Shauvon is a vet. Her season of Real World did premiere almost 3 years ago and it is not like she is completely new to our TV sets.
I don't like the veteran v rookie format because the vets are seasoned challengers and therefore usually better. They should just randomize it like have everyone go and pick colors out of a hat or something and have it red v blue or whatever.
Still possible...I never said that it was vets vs rookies.
Of all the past 5 seasons we get Shauvon, Dunbar, Sarah, Chet, JD, Ayiiia, Emilee, Derek, Ty & Emily.
Wheres Trisha, Kellyanne, Isaac, ALL OF HOLLYWOOD, Jasmine, Jonna, Joey, Bronnie, CJ, Ashley.
They picked the 2 Cancun female castmembers I liked the least. I just feel like this casting is a lazy mix of Gauntlet 3, The Ruins & Fresh Meat 2.
KellyAnne has done two challenges since her season, not that I wouldn't like to see her again.
Johnny, Kenny, Derrick, Brad, Eric & as veteran males. Disguisting.
I guess we can predict the Veterans will win with Johnny, Kenny, Derrick, Brad & Tori as the final team.
Eric and Katie are going to be thrown in everytime until they go home.
I doubt Derrick will let everybody throw in Katie over and over again. They're extremely good friends outside the challenges and if he's running the game, which judging by the cast seems very likely, he'll keep her safe for a good amount of time. On the Ruins it was hard because it was a cut and dry vote and no convincing was gonna change everything around.
I like the cast. But the idea of it being Veterans and Rookies really ticks me off. Why are they so freaking unorginal and creative? They should take risks and either preselect, randomly select, viewers vote or draft selection to manipulate how the teams will be. I'm sick of sequels. They usually turn out the same.
God bless molds because I would have lost my sanity long ago. I think it would help if posters took the time to read at least a couple of pages before posting nonsense. It really doesn't take very long and shows consideration to your moderators and fellow members.
That being said, the females look very lop-sided! If it is a Vets vs Rookies format, the Rookies have Laurel and Cara Maria, and I get the feeling that Emily and Emilee might also prove pretty tough competitors. Wasn't Emilee an athlete? While the Vets have Sarah and Tori, Tori has been hit or miss despite having the whole package. But they also seem to have some very weak links in Katie (LOVE the ******** but I'm talking about recent Challenge performances) and Shavoun. The Rookies don't seem like they have glaring weak links among the women, except perhaps Ayiiia. It doesn't matter how many strong members you have on your team. It only takes one weak/er member to lose it all.
BUT, I love that the show is bringing us some kickass women and I hope they perform up to their expected levels and stop this nonsense with the men dominating. Maybe they will add some events that favor the women as well as the men? Or events where former "weak links" like Katie and Shavoun could have a chance to perform well? I can dream.
And the squee girl in me is really pulling for Brad and Tori to win, if it is indeed a Vets vs Rookies format.

I don't recall ever seeing Derrick being in charge in any of these shows. Since I3 he has always been in the dominating alliances but has never led them. He seems content lying low and being a less visible member of his alliance. I don't think he's ever protected friends that were not part of the alliance if he feels it will adversely affect his alliance or footing in the game, which some viewers have skewered him for, but I think he actually plays it very smart by leaving his emotions out of it.
I love the Casting Spoilers picture that pops up on the home page! The collage of these pictures is great! But if this challenge is really casting "spoilers" I think it defeats the purpose to put pictures of the cast where they can't really be avoided.
Just saying. I don't think anyone tries to avoid casting spoilers here, but I know how annoying it is to run into spoilers when you don't want to.
JD! Call me weird, call me whatever you want but I want him to make it to the end. I do have a good bit of faith in this cast, but I guess that's because there isn't anyone on this rumored/compiled list that grates, other than John.
I wish we could get over the 'they shouldn't be a vet' thing. BMP has their format, that's what they planned and we move on.
For once, Katie could be partially running this challenge?
Your joking, right? Love Katie but she's a liability, lets be real. If the vet team wants to win they'll get rid of Shauvy and Katie as soon as possible. Hypothetically speaking if this is a rookies/vets format. Dayum if this is Gauntlet 4 then Katie would be on all four Gauntlets.

Emilee I believe did dance/gymnastics for quite a while, and possibly basketball, and I know that she has been running and working out due to her twitter updates. Emily is very athletic, and also a real dare devil. I think she'll be perfect on the challenges. She is the person I am most excited to see on this challenge.
The more I look at this cast, the more I'm starting to think it'll be a nice change of pace. Mainly all I care about is that Kenny is finally not on it. I know he didn't do Duel 2 but that was because he wasn't asked. I'm hoping this time he FINALLY chose to sit one out.
Also, didn't Katie retire?
I'm honestly surprised Katie came out of retirement so soon. I love her and the entertainment she brings but she never seems into the competition. She also said she had a terrible time on both The Duel 2 and The Ruins.
You can never believe people who say they are in retirement ;) they will always be back! I heard Katie enjoyed the Duel II (except for the fact she was kicked off early) she didn't really enjoy The Ruins at all.

Maybe she heard who was going and liked the people? I doubt she would've agreed to go on if Kenny and Evan were on the challenge.
But then Molds is wrong. Is that even possible?
^Ha! Love it. <3 Molds.
I'm surprised about all the hate towards this cast. They got rid of Kenny & Evan; isn't that what everyone wanted??
Omg, Katie is the only Road Rulers! Well the only "real" Road Rulers. No offense, but not don't really count Viewers Revenge as an actual Road Rules season.

Derrick is also representing Road Rules :)

I know, I don't really understand it either. What were people expecting?
If it was Coral, the Miz, Abram, Alton, Veronica etc... people need to get over it because it's not going to happen. I think they've done the best they could with the people who are actually still options. I'm glad it's a large new crowd.
I love this cast because....this is the first challenge since the year 2005 where neither Kenny or Evan competed in.
In all seriousness -- considering all realistic possibilities -- I like this cast and commend the casting directors for at least bringing in some new people.
I think Emily may be able to hold her own. Ayiiia and Emilee, I could see cracking under pressure. Cara didn't really show she could handle pressure well on FM2.
Of course Emily will be able to hold her own, much to my chagrin. Emilee I think will be fine once she figures out how things work. I am actually somewhat concerned that Laurel might crack, she showed some signs on FM2 and Kenny won't be there to calm her down.
I do like the concept of putting Shauvon on the Vets side, my imagination leads me to believe it was a balancing factor since in the past, Vets teams have dominated during the regular challenges.
