She also said it then recently on the Fresh Meat 2 after show, it's on MTV.com. She talked about how Laurel is one of the best competitors and how she would love to see her in an individual challenge so they can see who is the best.
Ashley is not a replacement on this challenge.
I have been told that when a last minute replacement is needed, they usually take someone who has already been on a challenge because of the vaccines they need to have before departure.
Not to mention she's been super excited about someone coming home for quite a while now, I doubt she'd want to miss that...

What's funny is of all the photos, Laurel looks like a total nerd girl, but she'd easily smoke any of the girlson this challenge. A focused Tori would be the only one with a shot, however, with this being a Gauntlet, Tori will probably be considered a VEt
So the vets looked pretty stacked. If the guys can work together, can anybody really stop Derrick, Brad, and Johnny? It will be interesting to see how Johnny works with these people. I don't think he can work the game well by himself, he will most likely want to get rid of the "weak girls". It will be interesting to see the impact that Tori plays in this game. looking at the people right now, my best bet is that Derrick and Brad will definitely make it to the final. I have question marks on Johnny, Tori, and Paula and Jenn. That would be a good team to take on the rookies, I believe.

If this is a Gauntlet type format, no girl on the vets team would have even a remote chance against a "game focused" Tori. If this is a Ruins or Inferno format, then a "game focused" Tori vs Laurel would be a good battle.
As for the males, Paranoia will take in because people like Dunbar, Johnny, and others will be trying to back out of elimination rounds. I anticipate quite a bit of infighting, and with Kenny or Evan @ Johnny's back in addition to his strained relationship with Paula, Johnny is a mere mark imo. Ditto for Dunbar.

I feel like they already have and they know it.
To be 100% honest I feel like they are trying to set it up so people like Brad/Katie/Paula who have given a lot to these challenges over the past 5 years have a good oppertunity to win this challenge. I also think it's a final attempt to save the challenges because if this is successful people will start tuning into the challenges to watch new people rather than their favorites from last decade.

I agree 100% with that. I'm happy to see new people! I mean come on MTV can't get any NEW viewers with the same old story lines. If I was a new viewers I would have no idea what the reason is for Kenny and Wes coming into the game hating each other on Fresh Meat 2. Or what Kenny did to Evelyn on the Islands. I want to see the new crazy people Mandi, Aiiiya, and so on.
I have to admit, I honestly don't like this cast. MTV is doing exactly what they did with FM2 calling people back that know will 100% do it. 6 FM2 castmembers, 3 Brooklyn castmembers and 3 Cancun castmembers. I know people want new faces, but didn't we just see these faces? They are hardly new.
Quite frankly the people are boring. You really think JD, Eric, Brad, Chet, Dunbar, Paula, Melinda or sarah are going to bring Drama??? Or even Tyler for that matter... Who brought nothing to the game, the past 2 challenges he did. Mandi, Theresa and Laurel were boring.

Honestly, I see Emilee and Ayiia as early round elimination fodder. This cast isn't the most intriguing. It would be nice to see an Abram in the mix, or an Adam [strike]Lawson[/strike] Larson, or even a CT (which I know will not happen soon. For the females, just too many Fresh Meaters, no disrespect, but with the exception of Laurel, they are kinda bland. Mandi may be ok though.
In my opinion, there needs to be a fair mix of new and old, and familarity .... (a brand person like (Coral, CT, Aneesa, Veronica, Beth or an Evan with someone like an Abram). Also there needs to be a fairer competitive element. While many may not be turned on by FM2, the exiles are competitive, and are truly a crap shoot.
People like Melinda and Paula being expected to anchor a show for ratings imo is asking a bit much.
So far 9 of these people we JUST SAW in Fresh Meat 2. Annoying. Although maybe the break for RW B2NO will refresh my mind over them.
I'm excited to see what the brand new people have to bring though, should be good.

They picked the 2 Cancun female castmembers I liked the least. I just feel like this casting is a lazy mix of Gauntlet 3, The Ruins & Fresh Meat 2.
Johnny, Kenny, Derrick, Brad, Eric & as veteran males. Disguisting.
I guess we can predict the Veterans will win with Johnny, Kenny, Derrick, Brad & Tori as the final team.
Eric and Katie are going to be thrown in everytime until they go home.

Kenny is not there. He's been removed from the list.
I keep seeing how people are up in arms over the fact that Shauvon is a vet. Her season of Real World did premiere almost 3 years ago and it is not like she is completely new to our TV sets.
I don't like the veteran v rookie format because the vets are seasoned challengers and therefore usually better. They should just randomize it like have everyone go and pick colors out of a hat or something and have it red v blue or whatever.
The only way that we will ever be happy with a cast is if they offered a lot, lot of money. first place gets like million dollars 2nd 100,000 and third nothing. i think if they raise the money, they could easily get back old veterans. Money talks. But in a way I think that MTV should at least try to reach out to these classic players first.
