Karamo didn't quit. He had speaking engagements he had to go to so he had to leave the show. They edited it to make it seem like he quit.

Whoops my bad, well.. 9. Karamo ( the guy who left for speaking engagements)
I think the only way that we will be able to decide who is the better player, Wes or Kenny, is in a duel setting. Mano y mano. I think if we look at all the players strengths it goes like this in my opinion. Swimming or water it goes to Wes. Puzzles I am unsure, both are sometimes good and sometimes are not. Kenny seems like he can run faster, strength is a toss up. Who would win in a duel setting?
I do think Derrick is a force to be looked out for. His showing on G2 was a while ago and he was "grandfathered" in the final on the Island and Ruins. But it isn't like he didn't pull his weight. On the Island he was the reason Johnny won. He aided his alliance and helped them win. On the ruins, he worked hard like everyone on the team and without a doubt is stronger then Kenny and Johnny. I think Kenny is a great social player but in my list, I was talking about physical prowess and intelligence in missions. It's fine to me who you want on your list but this is my list.
At this point, I do agree. I think the fact that he is so seasoned helps him avoid being called out early in the game. He also pulls his own weight. However, I feel like he has learned from his mistakes in the past, but these past mistakes can't be overlooked. On his first 4 challenges, he made some horrible decisions. On his later 4 challenges he is a lot more laid back and humble, and having a good personality definitely helps you make it far (I think its one of the reasons Timmy always did so well). No doubt, he's abover average, but I just don't think he's worthy of being in the top 10.
Anyways, here are my worst challenge compeitors...
1. Danny- 0 for 5 in elimination rounds. No one else even comes close to doing so poorly.
2. Adam K.- Not a very good competitor and usually goes home early. He is pretty oblivious to his position on the team.
3.Tyler- Thinks he's a lot better than he really is, went home second twice.
4. Tyrie- Another person who thinks they are strong, but has yet to prove himself.
5. Nick- He's had pretty bad luck on the challenges, but either way his performace is far from stellar.
6. Ryan- I really think he just comes on these shows to party.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone else who is particularly bad. I might edit later.

Isn't that still quitting?
Look at it this way ... leave a Challenge where you might win to go to fulfill an obligation where you are definitely getting paid ... possibility vs sure thing ... seems a simple choice
I honestly don't really care if he quit the challenge or not but he did quit on his team during the missions atleast once or twice. I remember one was the dodgeball mission and he didn't want to get in the water. But I guess it was unfair of me to put Dave and Karamo on that list since they were only on one challenge each but it was just their attitude during the time they were there (The Island and Inferno 2) editing or not that made me put them on my worst list.

He had to not participate in that challenge!! The good guys went up to him and said you have to throw this challenge or we're not going to vote you into the inferno. So he HAD to quit the mission so that he could fulfill his obligations back home and leave. Karamo said I promise you that if you choose me, I'll lose the inferno.
That's why the Miz wanted to go in the inferno so bad cause it was a gaurantee win and it would look good for him. He was afraid because it would look bad with the wrestling association if some other guy stepped in for him. But Karamo wanted Landon to go up against him.

uhh didn't Adam K. make it to the end of the Gauntlet 3?

Wow !! I'd like to know what was so important for Karamo back home. Throwing missions to go home for whatever reason is still bad in my book especially when you are screwing your own team over.
He had paid speaking engagements which is guaranteed money
Yeah but how much money are we talkin here ? It had to be a lot, surely.

He is seasoned and proven which always makes him an asset on any team. Everyone on the challenge knows this. What mistake has he made in the past? Botsexes2, okay true but that was one challenge. He made no mistake on I2, Tonya and Tina did. He was outspoken on G2 and was called into the Gauntlet but proved to his team he was an asset by taking out Adam and then doing very well in missions. FM1 him and Diem won the most missions next to Evan and Coral and the reason he lost was because Diem packed so much stuff, the weight of their bags was a lot more then Darrell and Aviv. He hasn't really made any horrible mistakes besides his first challenge, but a rookie rarely ever wins their first challenge. Are you trying to say that his 1, maybe 2, mistakes can't be overlooked compared to the times he has performed very well? Really? Look man, I personally think Derrick is in the top 10. If you don't, good for you but don't jump into my list telling me I'm wrong with so and so being in that list. I don't like Wes but I'm not telling someone else their list is off, instead I just made my own list off of MY OWN opinion.

I agree. I just don't get why a lot of people seem to think Derrick's overrated. And I know Wes has now been through the most eliminations but 6 of the 10 were Exiles which were tough but one on one which I think is tougher Derrick has been to and won more than anyone I can think of. He's been to 8 head to head eliminations and won 6 of them and his two losses were games that size/weight mattered a lot. And none of his losses were to cupcake competitors.

I thought the rule was if you quit you didn't get paid?
Karamo having to leave to do a speaking arrangement is basically quitting. Even if he didn't quit, he wasn't some stellar athlete anyways.
Not to mention, he was scared of the water.
Not to mention, he was scared of the water.
He was funny on inferno 2:
"my black *** don't like water"
to CT: "Kiss my Black ***."
He was funny on inferno 2:

I don't really think that's funny.
Karamo could have been sued if he did not fulfill his obligation of doing the speaking engagement, so that's why he picked it over the challenge. Don't forget he received an appearance fee just for being on the challenge. I think back then it was said they got $1,000 per each week they made it to on a challenge. His speaking engagement was probably around $1,000 (or less) as well, based on an estimate Rachel gave in an article in which she talked about her pay for speaking engagements. He could have potentially made more on the challenge if he was somehow able to last a bit longer.
I agree, though, that Karamo most likely would have been picked if he did not ask the GG to put him in. And he does stand out as one of the weaker people. Even though the GG stipulated that they wanted him to sit out the mission, he wasn't a swimmer and didn't feel comfortable with water. Perhaps he may not have tried it even if he wanted to stay. Shavonda said he was nervous and talked to her about it, and she tried to tell him everything would be fine because they were in life jackets. So it sounded believable that he didn't want to do the mission, even though he purposely didn't do it.
Dave never even did any type of competing, did he? I saw the episodes in which Abram lasted on the show, and I don't remember him competing. So I don't quite think it's fair to say he is weak as a competitor, though he seemed weak mentally.

I said that in a later post.

OK, I do see you said that in one of your later posts.
However, I really wanted to point out that Dave never got to compete at all, whereas Karamo and the others did a little bit of competing. If anyone mentioned that, I missed it.
